I owned a Record Store in the 80s and a shoplifter sprinted in the front door and grabbed that Pink Floyd box set and bolted. Little did he know that I went to college on a track scholarship. I caught up to him in a block. Tapped him on the shoulder while in a dead sprint and gave him the shock of his life. He chucked the box back at me. I returned a hero in my own mind

Chad Kassem is the vinyl GOAT. Period.
A few years ago I bought a new Rush Hold Your Fire vinyl. The lyric sheet was missing. It came from the Quality Records plant in KS. I contacted them via email and in a few weeks I received a lyric sheet in the mail. They were responsive and resolved the issue. Seems like a good company.
They really care about the product, very good people.
I've seen some of Chad's Beatles collection and it's neat to have him show it and point out all the small details. I agree with Chad on getting the new pressings. The price on some the older aren't worth the asking price. I have yet to be let down on any purchase from Acoustic Sounds. Thanks

I picked up a NM OG Copy of the Slim Harpo Back Scratcher album a couple of weeks ago off a German Seller who was selling his collection...maybe the same guy who sold the Lightnin Hopkins grails...As for the SH album its wonderful and been a seriously long time grail that im stunned at finally getting...Yet another great video-amazing stuff..Thank you from the UK for putting this up...👍👍👍

I bought the Beatles-Mono Collection red box when it came out, primarily to get a mono Sgt. Pepper's which is a totally different mix from the stereo. To my astonishment side 1 was mono but side 2 was stereo! Me thinks perhaps this freak version be collectable now. I wrote to Parlophone askin' for a replacement 'n received not only the lp but a letter from an executive who apologized for the error. He explained that they had sold out completely so he sent me the lp from his personal box...lucky me!

Same here, especially going up to 73. Mono basically was gone by 69, but I have 45 mono promos ( nothing great) going up to 1979

Ok, I know I said to you "...if we ever meet I'll tell you some...," but because of this vid I'll publically share a Chad story with everyone: We met Chad in person for the 1st time in '05 when he happened to stop by our setup in Austin at Hanner's show, but we'd already known him for a while. How? When the g/f & I deceided to finally spring for a VPI, of the half-doz or so places adv them for sale all were priced up to $75 lower than AS. Here's why Chad's turned out being the best deal at the best price. Of those adv, Chad's was the only place having one in stock. If there's a moral to this story it would be: Any place can adv any thing at any price, but it doesn't mean chit if they can't deliver. Chad delivered. And look how he/they have grown since then. Honesty, what a concept!

The blues does absolutely nothing for me so seeing rare blues records doesn't impress me.
White label promos of common records also doesn't mean much to me.
I understand some people get an erection over this stuff but for me it's just Meh!!!! 🙄
