Very excited for the Zeekr launch in Australia this year to get my hands on this.
Cannot wait your review on SU7
su7 is a industry garbage trust me
Apparently the su7 has issues
Already seeing Zeekr 001’s driving around in Amsterdam, becoming very popular
Never knew Zeekr is available in Europe!
@@spy_on_the_web Sweden too
@@spy_on_the_webit’s not really available in Europe. There is ONE showroom in the Netherlands and ONE in Sweden. It’s a total joke. Also Zeekr has already said they will NOT bring the 2024 refresh to Europe and they will just continue to sell the old version. It’s utterly insane.
Zeekr is also expanding to Mexico. Definitely out of my price range but it sure is nice to see. happy BYD owner here.
@@geraldh.8047 They’re also available at certain Volvo dealerships like Lynk & Co is
OLED screen! Yes! Pure black screen at night time!
Yeah and probably guaranteed burn-in and wear by going full blast with mostly static elements on daytime.🤣
@@ThirdLife86 Other car manufacturers are using OLED, such as Cadillac, so I assume they've worked out those issues.
@@faeinthebay"Worked out those issues" is BS.
The nature of OLED is burn-in, no one can't change that.
@@faeinthebay"Other car manufacturers are using OLED" is also BS.
They don't care about us consumers when the OLED fails, we consumers are the one who pays for replacement.
As a chinese, zeekr 001 is my absolute dream car. So sad I am currently studying abroad in Canada, Canadian auto market is full of bullshit.
So why are you not studying back in China and escape the so called "bullshit" ? You could be studying AND have your dream car ! So great !
Well said. China is gonna rule the auto industry by the end of this decade. Can't wait. Respect from Iran
@@ThirdLife86 make sure when he finish his studies he will return get his dream car and leave all the bullshit behind!
Why did you decide to study in Canada, a hostile country to yours? As far as I know, China has the best science and engineering degrees in universities.
@@ThirdLife86 He mentioned cars are bullshit, not the education system
I love this car even that beautiful green color suits so well i Also like the Sedan 007 in my opinion it's the best design ever made
The Zeekr 007 was THE EV SEDAN on the market for like 2 months and then Xiaomi dropped the bomb that is the SU7 on the entire automotive industry.
@@tren133 i don't know about Xiaomi SU7 - each car have it's own place i think i still prefer the 007 it's a more useful car
@@johnnysmile01 The SU7 just had perhaps the most hyped car launch in recent memory. Early reviews have been very positive, which is surprising since this is literally Xiaomi's very first try at making a car. BAIC can only make like 100,000 units a year in the new factory and that sold out within HOURS of the SU7 being launched. I believe they picked up over 120,000 deposits within 24 hours of it going on sale. More sporty and not as cheap or roomy as the 007, but the hype was real for the SU7.
Also, if one is considering the 007, maybe just go with its sister car the Geely Galaxy E8 instead, which also looks quite nice and is even cheaper.
I didn't know until the intro to this video that this was originally a Lynk & Co concept. Now makes sense why Zeekr styling looks like Lynk & Co, lol
Zeekr 001 original name is Lynk & Co zero.
Lynk & Co is a joint venture between Volvo and Geely, but Zeekr is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Geely.
@@williamchang4599 guess who owns Volvo 100%
@@nangongyiyun Of cause I know it's the Geely 100% own the Volvo, but it's still different.

Our Boy is back, thank God!!
Fortunately I got a 2021 version, great car!
As a european I really like the clear design of this Zeekr 001. Much purer and nicer design than for example new Audi Q6 (bad to say that). European design has lost its touch
Actually, this one is designed by both euro and Chinese team. Zeekr is from Link&Co, and the design from Greely China Euro Vehicle Tech. Long story in short, it combines with Euro tech and Chinese consumer need. It’s a family car and a toy for man. I believe everyone would love that after really drive it. I already get my zeekr
Having sat in Tesla, Seal, Nio, Li Auto - Zeekr has the most premium and intuitive interior. And yes the Tesla feels the least premium obviously.
I know the boot capacity, I work with Zeekr in Europe and the official numbers are 539 litters with the seats up!
Do you know if its makes sense so import a zeekr 001 2024 to germany? In Germany they will be offer to old trim. What do you think?
@@milesiras90 keep in mind they use a different charging plug in china (no CCS2)
@@filiph6336 gpt, right? I tought Thea maybe deliver the ccs Variant, when you order it.
Cool car and thanks for being one of the only car reviewers that knows the difference between electronic and electric!
I love my 2023 Zeekr 001 (EU)
There's a Chinese youtuber who made the largest powerbank in the world using a 100kwh EV battery. Curious where it came from, I downloaded his video and zoom-in to a sticker on the pack and there I saw the name Zeekr 01 for the first time.😅😅
Handy Geng?
@@user-bu4vq5nw3p yes
Well done bro I came across your channel recently
Thanks for the videos
Keep up the good work
Bring it here to Australia please!
Wow!! I'm in love! This car looks amazing
This is one of the few EVs I'd actually buy as a petrolhead driving a hot hatch atm. Geely has a good understanding of driving quality on their premium models. The acknowledge is shared in tuner community too as they are the few EV models commonly modified.
Good update keep it up the good work 👍👍
Zeekr 001 FR is absolutely my dream car
Looks very Teutonic, love it. Best looking car from China so far, not gimmicky trim.
Solid video as always.
It's also my Dream Wagon...After the test drive, it amazed me with the feeling of BMW M550i.
This car was welcomed almost like a rock star in China and even stole the thunder of Xiaomi and Tesla.
From the community, owners said the car still has a lot of worthwhile upgrade parts - confusing kinetic energy recovery, unreliable ADAS (Thanks to Mobileye), higher than expected voltage consumption, and air suspension that has a fine wobble over bumps.
Considering the great foundation of this car, it is worth looking forward to.
And there will be "Magic Carpet" function in the future - A coordination of Lidar and air suspension!
The Polestar 4's bolder, more seasoned brother. The 2024 facelifted model looks like the most complete package on the market, bar none.
I suspect they share a similar Geely chassis though the Polestar likely double the price
@@Zeek764in fact they use the same chassis, every chinese customer know about it,and polestar4 has the big discount in china right now that only cost 30k usd
no such thing as bold or not
They have just started delivering this car to a few customers in Sweden and I love it! But. The early feedback here is that the current European software is making the car almost un-drivable due to bugs and an over sensitive driver monitor which bleeps every time your eyes aren't straight ahead. This can, of course be solved with future updates but what I find most worrying is that customers are already complaining about Zeekr customer care because they aren't even responding to their enquiries about the issues. Not a good start and it's certainly putting me off ordering one for now.
I'm hoping we can get some of these brands in the US. We desperately need the competition!
Probably no
Your government doesn't want competition.
Many thanks for this useful review. A very impressive car. Hopefully it’s coming to Europe
so happy you finally get to test the Zeekr. Hopefully you will test all of it new and refreshed models.. Like the new zeekr 009, 007
I bloody sure hope Zeekr comes to Australia.....
Australia gets some of the best pricing on Chinese EVs anywhere in the world too. If Geely does send it down under it might sell in the equivalent of 45-50k USD range.
I've read they're aiming for 2025, but it'll be the Zeekr X and the Zeekr 009 MPV
😂@@HafiZzZzZz it wouldn't be allowed to be registered, where we have "Australian Design Rules" to make our cars "Special"😅

There seems to be a couple of speekers on each headrest of front seats.
I really liked this car from the first pictures I saw a few years ago. It feels like a new bigger version of my current car, the Jaguar i-Pace. The only downside seems to be that the boot is just as small despite the car being much larger.
That is a beautiful car!
amazing car but where is the xiaomi su7 review?
As he said on their Chinese channel, it will come in a few days
Best Car . I like design maxim
I really think, one day I have to get one..
Finally ❤
That rear legroom is nearly impressive as the room in the baojun cloud.
I really wish there was a right-hand drive version. I want to market in Thailand.
You should try to look for if there's a version they made for Hongkong
I love this
Nice car. Nice review. The 2.3 tonne weight lugged around is more problematic than range anxiety. But its a premium car for those who care about power and time on their terms. I don't mind YouTubing whilst charging. I'll just watch vlogs like this.
This my favorite of all Chinese electronic car 🚙
Incredible value for money if you compared to the western polestar 4 price
been a longtime fan waiting on zeekr to come to my country, WHEN are you landing in Denmark Zeekr hehe and at what price? We want the new edition also not the old.
I am so impressed lol
Une merveille ce vehicule
Wheels boy? Wheels Bro!
I love this car, so many brilliant design touches, sad thing is if it ever made it's way to Europe it would be twice the price quoted in the video, also do you think they will make a station wagon/estate version of this?
twice the price in Europe, but still better much better tech and value than your typical marque euro brands.
Great car
I hope wheelboy also uploaded all their other contents in CZcams. Don't have English subtitles in little red books, so i can't understand what Ethan said there 😭😭😭
Please review the micro. Electric cars Chery EQ1 2024 version and Baojun E100 please 🙏🙏🙏
Omg omg omg omg omg omg omg yay!!
🔥🔥
Driver-focused, canted towards driver, center stack, how'd you miss that?
lynk & co : yo we got this sick zero concept, what you think?
Geely : yeah, we need a new brand for this beautiful car
lynk & co : what…
Wish theyd stuff all the horn tech into the interior infront of the rearview mirror
Pls review any of the following cars should the opportunity arise:
Xiaomi SU7 max, Omada E5, JAC QX, Toyota BZ3, Nissan Sylphy e-power, Geely Geometry c, Deepal S7 PHEV and the Neta U. Appreciated!
And the jetour j2, 😂😆
And Huawei Luxeed, Aito and Avatr
Australia has BYD. Im a sedan kinda guy but i dont love it. The Song L though, that looks wicked
Does zeekr makes a right hand version of this car? I am from india and I so want one.
Thanks for the video! Is there any group of Chinese EV makers jointly developing full self driving system ?
The only autonomous driving system used by multiple EV makers is Huawei, which is also considered the best in the market. Baidu's system is also very good, but mostly geared towards autonomous taxi services. Many carmakers themselves have developed proprietary systems, such as Xpeng, Nio, Li Auto, Geely, and even the new Xiaomi. Amongst those Xpeng is considered the best I think, but not quite as good as Huawei. BYD is furthest behind in self driving tech, but I suspect might catch up fast because BYD has so much more money and resources compared to these other smaller carmakers.
@@tren133 if they unified their effort into a single system, we would get to FSD much quicker
@@jfbaro2 Perhaps, but the current highly fragmented Chinese automotive manufacturing landscape is at least partly by design. You would think it is a waste of money for the Chinese government to throw out all these subsidies for a good 10 plus years now, to literally 100 companies, all trying to do the same thing, and most will go bankrupt. Which is already happening now, such as HiPhi and Evergrande's EV unit.
But the Chinese government seems to believe competition is more important for advancement, even if most of these companies eventually go under. It is for this very reason that unlike all previous foreign carmakers, Tesla was the first to be granted the ability to wholly own its Chinese operations, no Chinese domestic joint venture partners required. The government did this basically to tell their own domestic automakers to compete with Tesla on EVs or die trying. Many will go under, but just in these past 5 years you can see the cream rise to the top and you end up with actual highly competitive automakers from all sorts of backgrounds, state-owned like SAIC and Changan, private like BYD and Geely, startups like Li Auto and Xpeng, and even consumer electronic companies like Huawei and Xiaomi, become legit Tesla competitors.
Very interesting move by the Chinese government some years back, but seems to be paying dividents for sure.
Great looking car, however the center screen is a little big.
Nice car
Nice review man will be interesting to see how the Chinese deal with the parts sector that I think keeps the legacy companies going. Availability of parts daily wear and tear also Chinese are notorious for building a product and an abandoning it in 4 to 5 years not like legacy car companies that stand by a car model past 10 years. These cars are soon to be like mobile cell phones that you replace every 3 to 4 years lol
Just seen Zeekr 001 for the first time here in Sweden. Are the ones going on sale now in Europe this updated power spec?
Someone said Germany will get the old model. Is that updated power spec needing some new charging infrastructure?
@@ou493311405 ah ok! Can’t imagine they need other charging infrastructure, Taycans are also 800V. I hope they changed the 200km/h speed limiter on the new ones. You Germans can’t be happy about that either?
Just wish there were some more physical buttons on it, otherwise it's a damn nice looking car
Btw the trunk size with the 2nd row up is 854L I think 🤔
Does it have a frunk? Can you do one pedal driving? What is the range efficiency?
I been driving my friend's top spec 001 (and I own a tesla model 3 performance)
Frunk: yes, but very small.
One pedal: Yes, but not as smooth as tesla.
Range efficiency: Roughly the same as my tesla, but it's got a 100wh battery vs 70 on my tesla, so it's got much more range.
side notes: The acceleration I've tested is the same as my tesla, 0-100km both clocked at around 3.6s. Handling is only slightly worse than the tesla because it's way bigger. but quality of life inside the 001 beats the crap out of the tesla, auto closing doors, headup display, much larger interior space, a voice assistant that works really well (especially comparing to the retard in my tesla) and much more. And it costs only about 40,000CNY ($5k usd) more than the tesla, I think the gap is even smaller now after zeekr dropping its price by 30k.
Wagon?? I'd rather say a hatchback (or CombiCoupe as Saab used to call them...) I have driven the previous version and was highly impressed with the quality feel and driving dynamics; more Mercedes Benz than Tesla. Cool car, besides the confused model-designation - well, at least they did not try to sell it as a yet another SUV.
yeah we sometimes got confused about what kind of carbody type this car is😂so lets call it crossover. Very nice car overall.
what is that on the roof???
zeekr 001 fr 0-100 2,2
watched a few of your videos now and I really like your take on cars. Two questions since I start to be interested in a Zeekr: Does this upgraded 001 still have the annoying speed limit of 200km/h? I’ve seen a few youtubers test driving the previous version of 001 in Europe and complaining about intrusive “driver assist” systems that are difficult to turn off, have you experienced that?
You got 240km/h new limit in this model, and the assist systems can be turned off now. And it can do 60-160km/h in 3.95 seconds and 100-200km/h in 5.7 seconds in real test😮
@@user-if9wv7ho5w thanks mate!
@@user-if9wv7ho5w but we don’t know if this upgrade is coming for the European market?
must be nice to have a competitive EV market. here in the states, it's the idiot olympics to see who can build the biggest diesel truck
I wish we had these in America
We do get its jacked up and SUViefied cousin the Polestar 3 for like 80k USD.
Awesome car to check out, really looking forward to Zeekr coming to Australia this year. My only negative feedback is to try not to let your channel become just an advertisement for Chinese cars that doesn't offer balanced reviews. It kinda seems like because you're now directly involved in exporting Chinese cars you're going shy on offering constructive criticisms as you have a vested interest in not pissing them off. Potential owners want to know the features and positives of the vehicle but they want the bad as well so they can make an informed decision. Anyway thanks for the reviews, just my thoughts.
But you see this channel doesn't only review one brand, but all kinds of cars -- not just EVs -- from China, why would he concern about pissing one or two company
Hi !! Where is the 🌟Mi SU7🌟 master review ?? 💪💪😎 We are waiting ...
Kinda wish it come in PHEV
The only reason I don't like the refreshed 001 is because it now looks too similar to the 001 FR
What is your daily driver?
It's just a hatchback, a nice looking one, but it's sloping rear window it's certainly not a wagon, my perfect wagon is one that has the profile of a Shinkansen pointy at the front, cubic at the back.
Do you know Zeeker themselves even call it a shootingbrake
Nice car but it's hardly a Wagon/estate (UK)
It’s a bit hard to categorize, what would you call it instead?

Is importation to France or the EU in general easy?
it is already commercialized in EU, like NL and DE. And the Chinese versions are not CCS compatible
@@USUG0please don’t spread such lies. Zeekr has not a single showroom / location of any kind in DE. Zero. Also they have explicitly stated that they don’t intend to bring the new 001 version to Europe and will just sell the old one instead.
