I hate how the comments have been turned off of most Recess videos on his channel. Kinda miss the fellow community of people reminiscing about their childhood.
It's like that for most cartoon videos now which sucks. I used to love reading the comments for the doug videos.

same, i’m really glad this video has its comment section intact. i still rewatch Recess episodes here and there, not because of nostalgia, but because it’ll always be a genuinely good timeless show, and being able to share that love for the show with others is the best
I think they've been turned off to keep people from posting offensive comments and using foul language.
Honestly. It's really comforting finding your type of people in a comment section that doesn't try to be a keyboard warrior or start shit, Just good vibes talking about cartoons.

I love CZcams for putting this entire binge of 10 minute episodes of Recess. This is like Christmas right there. As an adult, I still love this series. It just brings out the inner child in all of us and also a teachable lesson as well. A classic Disney series.

Not as evil as "The Box", but perhaps smarter. Her plan was incredibly smart, just bad luck the one day he gets a conscience is the one day he holds power.

I always liked this weird side of Prickly, and it led in well to this stuff in the movie; a decent man who's lost the child within until TJ helps him find it. It's a good way of showing how even the best of us can be corrupted by power.
Its like spanelli and tj sometimes get along with the school villans

I gotta say that Prickley's an amazingly skilled actor. You wouldnt believe he was working with Finster to make TJ principal and after he TJ announced his plans, Prickley was pretty skilled to convince and control him.
Him and TJ had the same behaviour in the achools ...climbing the statue, hiding treasure , and a huge supporter of recess.

Shows back then had such a different feeling. They didn't handle kids like mindless robots like most meaningless cartoons nowadays, such as the ones that air on cartoon network and disney. But at the same time, they didn't want to stuff kids' minds with things they don't even understand yet, such as racism and LGBT elements

First Recess episode I ever saw, it was the first episode on my first Recess movie Recess Christmas: Miracle on Third Street.
Whereas while I'd seen all the component episodes, I hadn't seen the little bits glueing that "movie" together until 2 years ago. Its wiki says that it was almost never shown in the UK - weird!

I've been watching a lot of these episodes recently, and either several characters are ambidextrous, or the artists weren't especially concerned with which hand characters were using. (Which is too bad. Left-handed people like feeling like we're not forgotten, heh.)
