I still loved Mass Effect 3. But Mass Effect 2 was far superior, simply because it was a game based on the characters. The suicide mission was a thing of beauty, the fact that I cared about every single one of my squad members, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Terrified about what would could happen. Easily the greatest hour of any video game I've ever played.
honestly even though I know all the right choices and the right people to put in charge of each object and that I've fully upgrade the Normandy I still get nervous every time I do the suicide mission.
Damn right. The very first time he did that look and nod ... bromance was never stronger than that. I respected him and knew he would not fail me. Felt that nod he gave was a confirmation of that . " I got you Sheppard"
I always take the opportunity to give Miranda a big old "Fuck you" after she says that command through leadership is needed by basically saying. "Miranda, you're right. Garrus, you're up."
I did the same, to me Garrus commanded far more respect than she did, at least the way she acted always put me off in 2, in 3 she's mellowed out far more and feels more relatable by comparison and more understandable oddly enough(perhaps her attitude was because of stress more than anything but oh well) either way I felt Garrus was always more level headed in this situation.
That's exactly what I did too. Especially how much he was able to put up a flight through his vigilante group against the mob bosses. The only reason they were even taken down and cornered was due to a betrayal.
God I love this scene. All your efforts has come to this moment. We see everyone, a bunch of rag tag team full of incredible people coming together under my command. What a game
same here, I probably played through it 100% like 10+ times. Original ME was good but flawed, and ME3 is excellent and imo is better gameplay wise but to say it doesn't stick the landing is a massive understatement. ME 2 is borderline flawless and is both one of the best sci-fi and Western RPGs of all time.
You're right, it felt like in Mass Effect 2, you were really fighting as a team to save the galaxy. I mean I remember having such a satisfied feeling beating this with all squad mates survived. In Mass Effect 3, you're given rushed conversations from your old squad mates at the end, 3 endings that are just literally laid out for you making most of your previous choices/paths redundant unlike Mass Effect 2, and is really that should've been done much better to conclude the Mass Effect story,
The galaxy's greatest heroes have all assembled to take on an impossible mission against a foe greater than any of them could beat alone. Mass effect 2 is Bioware's version of the Avengers and it works. You're right that it's satisfying, I remember how satisfied I felt when I beat the second game on my first play through with everyone surviving. I think it's satisfying because your hardwork and well-made decisions are rewarded. The ending of mass effect 3 was such a disappointment by comparison.
This game was good in many ways but I still think the first game was the best if the trilogy. Ever since ea have been pulling the strings mass effect became little more than another shooter. 3 was very overrated and not because of the ending
First time playing this mission....
...most intense shit ever.

This comment holds up 8 years later. I would say "What an incredible game," but that isn't enough. It was an incredible experience.
Mass effect 2 has superior choice and dialogue, while 3 has better combat. But yeah, mass effect is a fan favorite and it shows.
WRONG! YOU ALWAYS PUT GARRUS IN CHARGE!!!!
Damn right. The very first time he did that look and nod ... bromance was never stronger than that.

@@S_047 Garrus is an absolute unit
Scott Dixon and I’m in AWE of this unit!

Looks like the staff room in my Wal-Mart on the night before Black Friday

His ready speech always sends chills. Going into that hive was really a suicide mission if they weren't prepared
Hands down best of the three!!!
Truth!
Probably my favourite gaming moment ever
This is easily in my top 3 best games of all time, if not THE best.

It's The Dirty Dozen in space, and it's perfect! :D
Epic moment in the gaming history so excited to play this again in the Legendary edition
The collectors came after my ship, after my crew... time to rain some hellfire upon them :P
“Where not here to finish it where here to make them regret it “ hardcore

Miranda as fire team leader? Eww. I prefer Garrus. Easily the logical choice.
It's the best calibrated option.

IMO in ME3 you should be able to have Wrex, jack, thane, grunt in team...
i just imagined Shepard/Wrex/Grunt team...
I honestly prefer the paragon speech choice ,but this is definitely epic as well
Bro why you choose miranda as leader.. garrus was the obvious choice lol
GARRUS!
Strategic speech
Damn right.
Bad ass.
10/10 Amazing.
they were ready ? or did they died for nothing ?
No.

Mass Effect 3 was so great... Until the last 20 minutes, which shit all over the rest of the series...
best speech in all video game history, and me3 ruined it
Male Shepard has no soul. I wish i can find femshep version of this speech. I can't find my own recording.
no idea what the fuck you're talking about.
Get outta here ! You can't put a woman in charge when the Galaxy is at risk.
Fem Shep also sounds awful sometimes, Renegade MShep and his speeches are more cool than from FShep.
I also prefer fem Shep, felt more punch in most lines, every male Shep I hear is just sounds monotone as fuck.
Female Shepard renegade > male anything
No.
