Unfortunately, this plot point was spoiled for me in the Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition Artbook. It didn't have a spoiler warning (or, at least, not one that was clear enough), so I made the mistake of flipping through it before I even started the game. They really should print the words SPOILER ALERT on the front cover. I can't help but wonder how many other gamers made that mistake. As a result, I refuse to read any more Artbooks prior to finishing a game (the Gears of War Artbooks didn't spoil plot points, so I don't understand why ME2 had to).

I seriously JUST got this dlc since I'm replaying the trilogy and basically got it just for the hell of it and really wound up liking Kasumi's personality. I took her on every damn mission just for her little insights. I wish she could be a squad member in 3 as well.

I still loved Mass Effect 3. But Mass Effect 2 was far superior, simply because it was a game based on the characters. The suicide mission was a thing of beauty, the fact that I cared about every single one of my squad members, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Terrified about what would could happen. Easily the greatest hour of any video game I've ever played.
