The H1 chip is already plenty good enough and seeing that it’s being used in AirPods Max, then for sure any new lower end version of AirPods will feature the H1 chip at best.

I think I am getting the issue on my iPhone 11 with unresponsive touch, is there a similar issue with the iPad Air 2019, I get unresponsive touch issues with that where as my iPad Pro no such issues? I use the Air in smaller format for play and pro in larger for work instead of my MacBook Pro sometimes

Is the h1 chip in Airpods 2 the same as the one in the AirPods Max? If so then are all 10 of those audio cores used in the airpods 2?
Why not include the H1 in AirPods 3, since they pretty much did the same with the A12 in the 2018 and 2020 iPad Pros.

I think it’s possible with 4GB of ram, I mean there’s now a influx of Dram chips the manufacturers flooded the market with this why if you look at the capacity pricing on the new iPads they’re lower than previously before.
I kinda want to see Apple try to do ANR (Active Noise Reduction) with a base version of AirPods because I absolutely cannot stand the pressure buildup from ANC in the pros as much as I wanted to like them.
if they update the driver they dont need to update the H1 chip to increase sound quality.
also they can add spatial audio wit AP3 unless its a “pro” feature lol

I agree with you on the fact that the H1 might be getting a bit long in the tooth based on the frequency that Apple likes to upgrade chipsets. I do doubt though that Apple would put a better chip in new base line AirPods when they put that same chip in the new AirPods Max. I noticed you mentioned the AirPods Max at the end of the video but didn’t mention that they also have the H1.
i think this means that the iPad air and both ipad pros are going to be receiving updates that will further separate itself from the normal ipad which is exciting
You know I wonder why Apple doesnt notify those devices themselves. Is it really that difficult for Apple to include in the iOS version, whether those affected iPhone 11 have a certain serial number and show up a message? I don't think so

I think they'll be just like the regular airpods and the ANC/tranparency features will be a Pro and Max feature. Hoping for an increase in battery and sound quality - perhaps they can make them a little louder too.

Apple did carry over the s4 from the Apple Watch series 4 to series 5, all they did was add as compass and slap a new number on it

What the iPad 9 needs:
All ipad air features including laminated display, true tone, and 10.5 chassis
Upgraded max storage from 128 GB to 256 or hopefully 512 GB.
4 GB RAM
A13 bionic
Base storage now 64 GB.
Base Price is 399 or 349 if we are lucky. $299 with all these specifications is too good to be true.
12MP camera with flash (not likely but I would like it)
Lightning and 1st gen apple pencil (there needs to be a catch)
Same exact display and design as iPad air 3
And I don't want them to discontinue the iPad mini 5 I want the iPad mini 6 to come out on wwdc 21 and ipad 9 on march 2021

I don’t know if someone knows this but I had the original aipords that have the W1 chip and I buy it in December 2017 but in 2019 my AirPods they began to disconnect every time. I make my research through the internet and many people have this problem and some people said that the last update firmware that was 6.8.8 is responsible for that and that Apple on purpose kill the AirPods 1 to sell the 2 and the pro. I end buying the AirPods Pro but I’m afraid that something similar happens with them in the future.

What’s so unbelievably about 4 gigs of RAM in the base iPad? The iPhone 11, with the A13 chip, has 4 gigs. My guess: the A13 probably needs 4 gigs of RAM to run smoothly. Otherwise, love your vids.

One theory/wish I have is the next AirPods case will have the same tech and features as AirTags will. I’m predicting Apple is holding off on them until both are ready or other devices that have the same features.
If the $549 AirPods Max is using the H1 chip, the $199 AirPods should be fine with the same chip. The Airpods 3 may get Spactial Audio?

I hope Apple releases a “sport” version of the AirPods Max, kind of like how they made the Apple Watch cheaper with that same style. No way I’m paying $550 for the Max, but if they offer a “sport” version, I’d be happy to pay $350-$400.
I’m just hoping my AirPods 2 make it until the next version arrives. My AirPods 1 died before 2 came out.

These are headphones. No need to switch a chip when headphones literally almost always do the same functions: play music. The speakers themselves and other components are what’s getting upgraded.
I think that Apple putting H1s in the AirPods max proves that Apple believes the H1 is simply good enough and just does not need replacement.

Ok I hear you about the H1 staying around, but what if they aren’t trying to make anyone upgrade, they’re just trying to give people more options. Can you list all of the ways you think the H1 needs improvement? How many of improvements need to be made to justify the jump in name to H2. If they just made it slightly more efficient and called it H2, you’d be tagging on them. Please stop pressuring companies and people to obsess over small upgrades when we pretty much all have what we need already.

I just got scammed for some AirPods Pro. I ended up getting a 1:1 clone for $140 that was exactly the same. They even had the little pop up to pair on the iPhone. I noticed they were fake form a little blue light inside. Went to Target and bought the legit ones for $200 and returned them with the 1:1 clones inside.
