I love how Afton gets SHOT in the suit, TAZED in the suit, kicks Mike upside the head in the suit, and yet somehow
The cupcake set off the Springlocks
By the looks of it- THIS Afton was very meticulous in the upkeep of the building, the animatronics, and his suit (for the most part).
So the suit here was just as spry as older days. It just had a bit too much at that moment
A feral robot cupcake with humongous metal teeth ripping through worn-out fabric and foam. The impact is most likely what caused the springlocks to malfunction. Plus, looking at the behind the scenes, the cupcake is HUGE! Bigger than a human head - imagine that charging at you with full speed.
Like if the spring locks are cupcake activated
That cupcake is responsible for at least 1/3 of the deaths in the movie. Besides it can fly
The cupcake scares me more than the main animatronics
When the springlocks in the suit weren't getting triggered by bullets or the tazer, I was a bit confused considering how the FNAF3 recordings made it seem like your pulse and breath could trigger the springs but with it only triggering after a bit of the torso was ripped off, like the trigger for the locks was on the outside of the rig, I guess it made sense (even though Sister Location shows them on the inside). One broken spring would cause bleeding and that liquid would trigger every other mechanism one by one so it was kind of cool to see in action.
Besides, it'd be pretty awkward if a should check against the guy would activate them since he apparently chased down a bunch of kids wearing it and seeing Afton fighting in the suit like it was armor was pretty cool, explains why he went for it in the FNAF3 mini-game.
this makes more sense as to why he went for the suit when he was being ambushed by the souls in the game. Maybe it made him feel invincible.
I believe it is because the taser was only really able to affect the outside and the bullet isn't strong enough to go all the way through (that or vanessa entirely missed the mechanisms)
The only reason the Cupcake was able to trigger em is because the bite was deep enough to hit a springlock and cause them to activate
Imagine if that would be the ending of Fnaf The movie 👀🔥

What do you use for making animations?
I've heard of Unity, SFM, (Source film maker) Blender, and ClickTeam. I know how frustrating it can be to not get an answer, and I gathered this information over years so I hope this helps.

Bro, I just realized she shot him in the movie, and he stabbed her and she looked at him with shock when she had it coming after shooting him a bit ago like she didn't just try to shoot him a few minutes ago.
