Well, Alice my dear your video is the best I've ever seen of any trade show. On day one the shots were award-winning, perfect. 🏆and the music 100% on point. What a pleasure to watch.
The only thing that surprised me was how popular the old school paint schemes from the 1970s/'80s are. There were times I was tearing up. Damn I miss my '95 longnose Pete even more now. It's still a thrill to know she's out there on the web somewhere, posted by a thousand truckers who I saw whip out their phone to snatch a shot as we passed by on our little 15 mile run from farm to grain elevator for 45 days of each year. 😄

The maximum overdrive western star was really cool when he had it running. The Detroit with straight pipes is very distinctive

Mats looks like the place to be if your into trucks. From what I can tell some big bucks get spent . Then there comes a time when ya got to be driving and the chrome has got to get dirty. Good to see flat deck Dan’s tractor on display. I miss driving but not all the rest of the crap that comes with that job. If they had run NASA the way the trucking world runs they would have never got to the moon. Trucking has to many unskilled fingers in the pot. If your able, come to the light show the first night. I told my friend, I would come down for the light show and then go home.
The show trucks were in a new area this year, a smaller but more convenient area for the spectators.

The actual layout in the exhibit hall reminds me of the "International wireless communication Expo" . The last 89? Why would peterbilt mess with success? I saw super trucker Dan s truck in the exhibit hall and his little dog named Bailey sitting in the passenger seat. I enjoyed your video.

Sorry I didn't get to make it out there but being on a fixed income the hotel room rates were way to much for me. I saw that you stopped by the @GreenAPU booth. Did you run in to Steve FSC? He got a chance to drive the "Maximum Overdrive" truck after last years MATS.

Sacramento saying what up , For sure outlaw they put a lot of good stuff out , I have not been to truck shows for quite a while now Wish I was there , Sapp brothers is great I love stopping there Good diesel too , They sure have a lot of nice trucks in there from back in the day when trucking was real , that a nice sticker Alice , That old school long nose black KW I bet Martin was drolling over It 😂😂 It is very nice truck but I prefer Peterbilt , It is a terrible thing to pull them off the highways , mr. DAN Looking good for a working truck, I think the 579 they're pretty nice You have to have the right color, I have a picture of an orange one got an air ride front end on it and it is 300 inch wb. She looks really good , Back in the day a friend of mine put a full windshield in a 379 Look pretty good , It was 320 will base But he done a lot it was definitely a show truck But he put 130000 miles a year on it , You definitely in rich man's territory , Thank you for taking me to Matt's truck show , a lot of them older trucks are setting like truckers gangster trucks 😁🕶

I always rent the mobility scooter for the 3 days so my feet won't hurt plus it allows me to see the 3 day truck show in just 2 days and skip the 3rd day( aka family day big crowds day) definatly recommend renting the scooter for the truck show

The 589 is nothing more than a 567 with a 388 Hood!! It's the short Hood.
Thank you so much for sharing. I was going to come down, but my better half suddenly was suffering vertigo. So, I spent the weekend in and out of the hospital for running her tests. Pray for her if you can. I loved the 589. I know the windshield takes getting used to, but that room in the cab is worth it. Thank you for showing all that you did. Troy Masseys Bocephus was crazy over the top. The Scania is impressive also. Your son is precious. Once again, thank you so much for the tour. First MATS I have missed in years. I always do the three day tour, and still miss stuff.
Re vertigo: I have had bouts of it for a number of years, and one of the times when it was kinda bad, I went to a occupational therapist who did the Epley maneuver which almost fixed it immediately. The crystals in my ear were out of place.
Just wanted to mention it because when I first heard about the crystals, I thought they were joking, but it’s actually true.
I've been interested in Zen Eclipse. Ever since you first showed them. Haven't had the time to get some myself. Love your content. Thank you for all the work you put into your videos Alice.

I had been yelling at Brian to put a fake center line on the 589 windshield for a week 🤣
Been driving a ole chevy 5 window with fake center divider for over 40 years as its a 54 with 1 piece windshield. Trying to make it look like a 48-53 chevy.
When they cut the roof on the black one a 48 5window was next to the 589 at semicasual.
