    I removed my passenger pegs and seat from my Z900. I’m guessing these things are required to install these bags?

      Not at all actually!😊 you may need to use a different shorter bolt or insert a spacer since you don’t have your passenger pegs, but they are absolutely not necessary for this instal, you just use the passenger peg holes to insert new bolts provided by SW-MOTECH. As for your seat, you can place the bags over anything, I myself am actually planning on getting a cowl as well and removing the passenger seat. I would however suggest putting on a temporary film to protect your cowl from getting micro rubbed and ruining your paint (this film is actually included with the bags). But other than that you can totally install these 👍

    I ride a Z900 (2020), too. I thought these bags would look OK, but they look great on your bike. So far, I’ve managed with a tank bag and a backpack, but now I may reconsider. Thanks!

    Great review AND I like how you slid them on while attached with velcro - I've seen a few vloggers separate them and slide on, adding weight to the support rails that they are not intended to hold according to the SW Motech instructions.

    Excellent video!!!
    I plan on moving to Thailand in the near future and Ive been wanting to purchase a sport bike once there however i was hesitant because I wasn't able to really carry much (like groceries )so I was considering GoldWings reluctantly and even scooters ☹️.
    These saddle bags look awesome and go with any color bike and would work perfectly for my needs.
    Thanks for sharing and I love your new bike! ... Stay safe and again thanks for the knowledge!

    I always prefer waterproof bags inside the main bag over trusting the bag or the slipon covers. I'll have to see of the mounting hardware works with my FZ1.

    They do look great…. But what attachments did you need to mount for the brackets to quick connect?

    So ProBlaze, SW Motech, and Suzuki all made in same factory for these bags with different logos? Because they looks the exact same.

    Hi, I too have the older SWmotech blaze panniers. But they keep touching the stock indicators. Anyways the indicators are a useless 2 piece design that keep flapping around with kms over time. I didn't see the indicators on your bike as you've got a tail tidy which would move the indicators even closer to the panniers.
    Plus getting scuff marks on the tail piece paint is a strict no-no for which sw motech even supplies a ppf patch. If only kawasaki would have given rear grab rails and harness points, mounting tail bags would be a lot easier.

    I just don't like that they touch the plastics of the bike. It'll probably cause paint damage after some time...

    You mounted the bags on a motorcycle with a right side mirror but rode another one with a left side mirror. What happened? Did the bags drop off the first bike?

    Cool bag for weekend use. Beyond that not so much. Get a good tank bag and maybe a tail bag and then your good for much longer trips and you can carry tools, a small air pump etc. Just these items can swallow up the space of 1 bag.

    • @mototribe1644
      @mototribe1644  Před 3 lety +6

      Personally I hate tank bags. They obstruct my riding style and just add too much bulk for me. I could do a rear bag but then it would be tall and I would need a permanent install for stability which is not what I was after. I want removable temporary bags which is what these are and are perfect for weekend getaways.

      I'm holding off on buying these for the same exact reason. Looks like she has an integrated tail light or something... I'm pretty sure they won't fit without some modifications.

    Hey nice presentation. I wanted to ask about the behavior of the motorcycle when riding with full bags. Do they put up a lot of resistance and have an influence on driving at speeds of 160 - 200 km / h.

      @CapoeiraNorway Před rokem

      Maybe a slow response: But a friend of mine rode with them in the German Autobahn (200km/h+++). He said he didnt notice a thing about having them on. And the velcro held shut, so no movement there!

    Is this the H set for the higher mount? On their site it looks like that's all they officially offer for the Ninja 650.

    Hey I have 2022 z900 model and there is a helmet lock that comes stock on my bike that looks like would be in the brackets. Does or did your bike have a helmet lock? I think they come on the newer models in USA and Canada
