Video walks through initial task required to stand up a Virtual Wireless LAN Controller on a vmware ESXi server. I also review the process to configure the network adapter for 802.1Q trunking in ESXi, of course your Ethernet adapter must support the feature.
I posted a similar video on my blog a while ago, and many people had questions about the ESXi tagging so hopefully this answers those questions.

Excellent video but as a point of reference, have you tried setting a static ip address in the initial setup to a non-functioning subnet because of DHCP setting the service port ip to a ip on the same subnet as the management ip address thus causing the conflict "sometimes" for you?

I have a question, I want to install ESXI on this PC, then install endian firewall. I want the firewall to have 3 interfaces, RED BLUE GREEN. Red I want to hook up to wireless router, GREEN and BLUE are just lan adapters. How can I do it.

This is an older WLC, but all OVA's you can download from Cisco.com -> Software Downloads.

Could you use this in VIRL? and communicate to a physical AP?
I haven't tried that, but don't see why not? If you can connect say a loop back adapter to your VIRL network, and bride that to an physical adapter heading out to a switch with an AP, there shouldn't be a problem.
How can i configure cisco AP for this virtual WLC ?
This is a loaded question, I am definitely going to be redoing this video as I have said it's pretty dated. There is also some free WiFi Training we made at WIFiTriaining.com, as well as authorized Cisco and CWNP courses there too. Take you as far as you want to go.
have you tried configuring it on HYPER -V ?
No haven't done Hyper V, don't think it's officially supported. That doesn't mean it wouldn't work, but I haven't tested it due to that.
Only once in a lab, never in the real world.
