Really? All utubers does that? M still shock how they get perfect curls from straight wen I try 1) time consuming 2) hair breakage while tieing them with rubber or rope or socks 3) pain coz they are still tied scalp hurts 4) result! Nothing happening may hair remain straight.

Naturals in curly hair community do that all the time. It's different from other curly hair routines. So they have to mention it's straight to curly.

I wanted my hair to be curly I tried it out but my hair ended up being tangled
for those wondering: you have to twirl your hair and put it in a bun for at least 15 mins then take a shower and twirl again put it in a bun and wait 20 mins.

I literally just put my hair in 4 Dutch braids every 3 nights I just don't wash my hair until 3 days and I just do the same 4 Dutch braids every 3 nights

Liyah Biyah You could have mild moisture overload. I know I had it for a while,so my curls always looked better after I used heat. It got rid of the extra moisture.

My hair used to look like that when I was a kid. Like most girls who have heat damaged hair, it started with my mom. I became addicted to it. I felt I was not pretty if I did not have straight hair when I went out (ridiculous). NOW I am working on getting my hair back to looking like this. Literally half of my hair has pretty curls and the other half is a fried mess 😂 legit half and half. However, I have a question. If I get my hair back to normal, can I still straighten it every now and then as long as I condition and protect my hair?
If you use a good heat protecting spray u should be fine to straighten it every once in a while but be careful that you don't do it to much or you will damage your hair

I have naturally curly hair. Once when I was little I got a relaxer in my hair. It damaged it really bad. I hated braids. I hated getting my hair done ( very tender headed) . People will complain when they did my hair and said I cry to much. One day I stopped caring for my hair. I had really bad knots they were basically turning into dreadlocks. I couldn’t even calm it out. I just cut the knots out. My hair was fine again. Once again I was staring to getting the knots again. I always wanted that perfect white girl long hair. One day I want to NYC I didn’t know what was going to happen all I knew was I was going to stay with my grandma for 3 days and is as going to to get my hair done and get box braids. I went to the hair place and I asked what they were doing . And they said they were going to unknot my hair and straighten it. They stared to cry because when they were calming out my hair it hurt really bad . They finally was done unknotted my hair. Then they put a. Chemical in my hair I asked what it was and they said it was something “ special” it really was burning my scalp and my hair was itchy. They finally washed it out it felt better, when they did I looked it the mirror and my hair was not curly. I asked again and they kept saying it was “special “ she straightedges my hair and we leave. The next day I get my box braids. After a few weeks I take them out , wash my hair. Then my curly hair was not there. I told my mom and she was started to get mad at my grandma besides she didn’t tell me what they did to my hair. It’s been a year. And my hair hasn’t fully grown back again to be curly. Now I have really want curly hair. I really miss having curly hair. Thanks for reading sorry for wrong spelling.

Us Curlys have to prepare hair for straightening and prepare hair to get it back to curly. Sometimes it messes up our curl patters. Thus why the title is like that😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑

My hair is bone straight and I’ve used all of these products before and never did they once make my hair curly... I just put curls in my hair and it will last 3-4 days. That’s the only thing I’ve done that helps me🤷🏼♀️
