I have not opened this airbrush for nearly 2 years now.
Ive been procrastinating learning how to clean it. And just find something to mess around with it. Like a cheap 5' canvas or sonething

@@coregeek yeah, its sitting next to the air compressor i got with it. i got it for a deal at a garage sale. the guy opening the packaging and never used it. like me. but unlike him i plan on keeping it. i just need to check the box on what type it even is. so this series is going to teach me how to use it.
i forget which crafting facebook gave me the thumbs up. but i have "good" one. thats all i know. until your series continues. soeaking of, i need to get as drop sheet. so my balcony doesnt get sprayed different colours. the weather warming up would also be a plus

I started out with siphon feed airbrushes with the quick color changes, but they are MUCH more difficult for me to clean!! I switched to a gravity feed dual action airbrush and I swear by this stuff all the time :D I love this video of yours and even as an airbrushing person I still learned from your perspective, thank you :)

Nice video, I think this will help everyone a lot.
Also I borrowed one of those cheap ones from a friend to try it out, and while it worked well enough for large areas, it was hard to clean and u had to clean it more because the quality was fairly bad.
Once I wanted one for smaller things, and better quality I bought a Harder & Steenbeck infinity and it is just amazing. Its a German company and they live up to the German engineering stereotype.
Just another brand of the higher end brushes, I am sure the others work as well as this, but it is my only real experience with a high quality airbrush.

While brands like iwata are better I gotta say it also comes down to how well you maintain them, I've been rocking my AliExpress gravity and bottom feed dual actions for 2 years now, they were 30 and 25 bucks, a Sonic cleaner helps though.

Great video, I also wanted to add for anyone who wants to get their feet wet with airbrushing but doesn't want to spens much. Check shopgoodwill.com for used makeup airbrushes. They are usually $20 or less and come with a mini compressor. I bought one and it came with an airbrush thats similar to the neo ( I could control paint but not air) and it works great. I now bought a neo but use the same compressor.
