- Cyclone CwC Poison Soulrend is probably the strongest overall build that I've ever made. Solid poison damage with amazing defenses easily carries through some of the hardest content in the game.

Also wanted to add for anyone else playing this build: Another option for dropping Herald of Agony is to craft 15% chance to poison on hit on your gloves with Grand Eater of Worlds (replacing the chaos leech).

Been playing this build since shortly after you posted the first video. Absolutely love it. I was playing your CoC Forbidden Rite Occultist from a few leagues ago and keeping it on life support for over a year but I'm so happy with this new one.

I've always found septic spells cluster jewels a great way to get poison chance but i totally forgot those tattoos got added lol
Might have to try this out once I get the challenges out of the way. I swapped my cant on stun build over to a trickster MS build to bully some bosses with, hopefully. If I have time after this looks fun, I miss soulrend.
2 things:
1st just did slightly different graveyardcraft for dagger... hit (sadly) only +1 chaos buuut got t1 chaosdott t1 multi + t1 poisonchance dmg with poison so im still pretty happy... (for some reason t1 mana hit on 3rd pref...)
also u can buy 30% quality divine life flask its only 1 div and i think 500 more health over flask duration!

Cool build!! I've never done a high end poison (or DOT) build before. Is this build limited by a DOT cap that I always hear about?
Yep
Dot cap is 36m so it’s still very good dps
Having any more than that just lets you hit cap faster, or get to cap against Ubers

I did a Cyclone Ironmass minion build this round and I was using Soulrend at first. Noticed the same things you did, but Soulrend was not a good option for Ironmass obviously.
This looks nice! Is this build more scalable with Adorned and whatnot?
Yes, I might try to go for an adorned setup but it's going to be annoying/expensive because I'll have to buy a Voices.

Watched this build on stream. Feels like the Dragonfang could be put down for a defiance AND that the dagger (or dark seer) could be set aside for a Mahuxotl's + Tempered by War timeless jewel, though that seems to compete with the perandus jewel slot. Even if it cuts the damage by a good chunk, the additional survival might be worth it.
I mean...I was running -35 max res maps and other insane mods that would even go through those defensive layers.
I think the reasonable additional layer could be investing into recoup to get more value out of pb and progenesis

What's a good idea for a cheap amulet slot? I've been looking at doing a fun pathfinder build and this one ticks all the boxes of what I'm looking for, but the price of the replica dragonfang got blown out of the water by your build guide. Maybe a +1 chaos +1 all skill gems rare or something?
Guess I'll mess around with the PoB and see if I can find anything.
yeah +1/+1 with dot multi is just as good if not better than dragonfang, it's just tighter on reservation efficiency and stats but it makes up for it in resists/life.

Hey im currently in a psych ward but i will be released this coming week and i havent played much this league just a bit at the beginning.
Would this be something i can build with next to no currency so like a budget version? I really like soulrend but i am not good enough at making build to make a working soulrend build to my liking but this looks amazing so im wondering. Thanks in advance!
I think if you really stripped it down you could make a 5-10 divine version but it'd be pretty weak. Tanky still in t16s at least but low damage.

I see you use a divine life flask, have you try Hallowed life flask for longer duration but less recovery?
Trust me.... You will need the recovery... A lot... If you can put an eternal flask better than divine .. Less duration but worth it
How do you craft the dagger after getting the fractures?

Ok there were a few changes I made to this build, the I changed 3 endless jewels for quarts infusion, free phasing and 40% of suppression giving me 4 nodes on the tree /room to remove suppression on the gear for 18-25 div Vs 500 div for +2 projectiles.
That's fine for lower investment but nothing compares really to endless munitions. That's roughly 14 poison stacks per second that you're giving up.
may I ask, why do you not use the Lightning Coil in this build? Is there a drawback to it, considering one might be able to gap the -lightning res?
The res difference of over 100 is the biggest reason, yes. Resists are tight enough on this build already and you would struggle to cap them with a Coil.
With that said, you could replace the Lethal Pride and use a Coil but it'd still be tough. Other thing is that you get a little Energy Shield from a Cloak and the Cloak's conversion also works for Damage over Time where the Coil's only works for hits.;

whats the actual dps of this version of the build? idk if the pob is super accurate for dps of poison builds
It varies so much depending on how accurately and for how long you can stand on a monster. My setup hits 150 million raw DPS but it gets truncated by Poison DPS cap at 35.7 million.
This scales as we fight monsters that take less damage so going over the DPS cap matters, particularly for Ubers and Delirium monsters that have less damage taken.
For example: if a monster has 50% less damage taken, your raw poison DPS cap is actually 70.4 million instead of 35.7.

Not really no. You need the life flask as es. Also you'd lose a lot of physical defense.

He said to level as Toxic Rain. This build won't really work well leveling because of the items it needs.
The build really wouldn't be comfortable before level 90 so you'd just play poison concoction or something before then. If nothing changes or it's buffed next league I might explore options.

Hi guys, why use Arcanist brand, can we swap it with a cast when Damage Taken? Its always 1 spell less to use.
That's a very good question. I'd definitely try it
It can work but will be unreliable if you don't get hit. Also you'll have to lower the level of your curses to match the CWDT level.
The really nice thing about Arcanist Brand is that you can place it before the boss comes out. Since we are Evasion based there could be a very long stretch of fighting a boss where they're not cursed and you'd be missing a ton of damage.

Three graveyard crafts and all I've gotten so far is Fractured +1 Chaos with T1 Chaos Multi + DoT Multi
That's really really good haha. All you have to do is fossil craft for +1 all then craft chaos damage.

How many mirrors to get this up and running?
Low investment at current market prices is about 50-100 divines, I spent about 300 to get this setup, but I self-crafting/self-corrupted my own items.

@@subtractem Would you play it differently with a MB? Playing a str stacker and thought its time for a change so the build peaked my interest. Got an MB and about 150D laying around.
Only flask+ring+amulet gets you over 150d. Jewels and gems will cost something too. So my guess is minimum 200d to feel good.
@@fumeknight2354 mb is not good, you need 3-4 unique flasks and life flask as well, also mb doesnt give life flask stacks regen
50d is a low budget setup with no flask or ring, 200d is the "t17s are comfy setup" but at 50 you can start doing them but just roll them carefully.
How important is the +3 amulet?
A +2 dot multi amulet is actually better but you have to craft or buy it

Not really expensive, just a later in the league build for most, still way over dot cap without Nimis. Possibly more than 3 Div ;)
@@azrael8197 Alot depends on what gameplay you chose, Im coming from a soft core trade league perspective. Pyogenesis flask is going for about 70-90 div, nimi's is another 80-100div, Awakened Greater Multiple Projectiles Support gem is about 30-35 div and the forbidden flame/flash is 65 div each so there 130 divine there. Everything else is peppered in divines for the gear. I'd say in all the build displayed here would be around 370 divine give or take for, again trade league. No doubt the build looks fun as hell though. Just beware of this prior to starting it, sub has great content though and always some unique builds so kudos.

t17 are wayy to easy now edit.make that waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to easy-------they either need to gut the rewards or crank up the difficulty again......currently they could quarter the rewards and it would still be more than worth it to run them ....and im not even playign trade league im on ssf......i have magebloodS....and 5 headhunters.....its jsut stupid...its literly worse than affliction in the overtuned reward department....you literly have to take the portal scarab just for more looting....
