Star Citizen is an Open Development Alpha Project by Cloud Imperium. It is 2 Games really though, the Persistent Universe that aims to build a First Person MMO Space Sim that encompasses gameplay in ship & on ground, economy and pretty much anything else you can think of. It's built in the StarEngine (a modified Lumberyard Engine). You'll see massive Space Ships that you can fly with friends, land on planets, explore or whatever your way to whatever goal you choose. It's available to try in it's current Alpha State now, you can give feedback & influence the direction of the game BUT it is VERY ALPHA.
Squadron 42 is the Single Player Campaign of Star Citizen & the Spiritual Successor of Wing Commander. The Idea is the game is immersive, cinematic, beautiful & seamless... NO LOADING SCREENS once in game.
Both Games are currently in the Alpha of their development.
I am suspecting to see something more mainstream for Star Citizen's PU by the end of 2024 with permanent progression, though it will be a while after that before the game is considered "feature complete" which would be closer to 2025 in my opinion.
The are no dates for Squadron 42's Release Yet BUT it is now Feature Complete.
I am an Independent Content Creator & Star Citizen Fan. I am not paid by Cloud Imperium HOWEVER I am an Evocati Member and as such I am under an NDA for Closed Early Patch Tests of Star Citizen', known as the Evocati Test Flight (ETF). They occasionally offer me ships for giveaways too, which I will take if they are truely NO STRINGS ATTACHED.
GameGlass, Shadow & NordVPN referrals give me a small kickback, however I am not paid by them for any specific videos or promotion. Unless Otherwise Stated.

00:00 - Star Citizen Idris Frigate Tour
09:00 - Even More Idris Rooms!
13:00 - What Do You Think?
#StarCitizen #BoredGamer #Squadron42 - Hry
Men sad, men see Idris, Men happy
Yes brother, Men happy
Me happy
lol 👍
Idris boarding missions coming soon hopefully!
Kinda wish there'll be a permanent friendly idris that you can just hang out in one day. Personally I loved touring it the other day
Could have a crashed Idris camp 🤔
how do i get into the idris. i am at the right station but i cant find the dock.
Rest assured, there will be thousands of player owned hangar queens that people will BEG for reasons to retrieve. An Idris will never be far out of reach. Lol
@@mrping-_-9215It's always at one of the Security Docking ports, you just have to find the right one
You can join my Idris & kraken if you like!
I haven't managed to see the Polaris in the wild yet either, but I haven't even been online enough to have caught the Idris tour myself. I think it's hilarious that zin goes and dresses nicely in her civvies for the tour and you just rock up in a noob suit, complete with helmet, for a tour that is presumably safely within the ship.
The UEE uses Invictus Launch Week as an opportunity to not only congratulate the latest graduating
class of starmen and pilots, but also celebrate this newest group of recruits gathering to set off for
training. All over the Empire, sons, daughters, partners, brothers, and sisters say goodbye to their loved
ones before embarking to MacArthur to start their next journey in Wil.
The adventure of service in the UEE military.
During this time, Naval vessels dock around the Empire and let the populace see these brave defenders
and awe-inspiring ships up close. Invictus is also a wonderful opportunity for the community to come
together with local governments, businesses, and law enforcement to talk about planetary security and
outreach.
I've been playing every day, and I completely miss these ships every single time
Can't wait for all the "will it fit" videos when the Idris comes out.
Step 1: can I get a Liberator in?
agee - that's a whole lot of ship to just lug around 3 light fighters
@@nenge_mboko That's not it's purpose, it's something It can do as part of its purpose. If you want 'just 3 light fighters' get a Liberator.
The interior of that ship is like a whole cod map. Damn this game is big.
It's easy to get upset with how long shit has taken to get going but when you see shit like this you kinda get it. Feature creep is still a huge issue tho. If they ever get things where they want and promised this game will be something really special. I will say things have picked up considerably and it feels like all this could actually happen
I’ve probably seen 5 tours of the Idris and toured it myself as well, but I seem to still can’t get enough of seeing and learning about this ship.
Thanks for the tour, I couldn't find it anywhere to check it out personally
Beautiful ship, hope I'll be able to see it in action ingame myself at some point (hopefully not while it's aiming at me).
I melted a bunch of ships years ago and got my Idris. This is going to be the base for my friends and I. It will be interesting to see how many ships we can get in that hanger.
One thing that annoys me about star citizenship is they obviously haven't seen naval staircases that would save a lot of space.
🙄
They're called ladders
@@theuselessteammate2097 Yup and the bathroom is called the head. Anyone who doesn't know any better is going to think I'm talking about vertical ladders that already exist.
@@Mike5Brown fair enough. But I think you see how in this context normal stairs make equally as much sense
It's nice to also have the mini map for this tour. That be a big ship!
Love the huge ships. Walking around in one really shows the scale of them.
Really need some more big ship boarding missions. I’ve always. Liked the one where you board the 890j
That moving cell in the engine room instantly made me think of the carbonite freezer on Cloud City... Impressive!
Most impressive.
SOOOoooo good to see a propperly tourable cap ship in game this year. This is a far cry above the Jav tours of old. Exciting stuff. :)
Getting lost shouldn't be a problem with all the connections, really like that every size has different types of teamwork and game-play, different flavors to enjoy.
Except for the main large areas, a large part of the ship internally feels like a messier version of a Starfarer especially in the lower decks
were you ever on a aircraft carrier. Reality is even worse then this game ;D.
Its a military ship they are never meant to be beautiful ^^ maybe Origin will release a modern style looking military frigate or corvette in the future that would probably suit you better.
New airman gets on the o3 for the first time you see him wondering around completely lost staring at bullseyes lol
@@sickmit3481 "We have a pool and a pond...the pond would be good for you" ~ Chevy Chase
Wooooo! Look at the stability and ease of play. The ship is beautiful. I can’t wait to crew up in one.
I am man, I see idris, I click
Its going to be unreal to see functional crews on board these, i really hope that captial class gameplay really pulls through and doesnt just become a flexing match to see who owns the biggest ship.
Looking forward to seeing this in both the PU and S42!
I am so excited about these large capital ships! I can't wait till we have entire orgs working together and having massive battles!
In the capture the Idris videos people had the Fighter Bay doors open. Looks good closed too.
The scary part is thinking of the amount of hours that went into designing that interior. It is amazing.
Missed the tour ingame, thanks for the video!
im loving seeing these capital ships finally coming together. These large ships are truly one of the things that sets star citizen apart. It is taking a long time but stuff like this is seeing the "dream" that this game is coming together.
I think it’s good that it didn’t have too many props. It gives you a sense of what is going to be like when u you actually spawn it in for the first time.
Thanks for the tour!! I spent all of fleet week trying to find an Idris docked somewhere, but I simply could not find it - or the fleet. I did see lots of fireworks though. So not a total loss, I suppose.
With Idris now getting there, can't wait for more capital ships being worked on and released, maybe some good stuff at CitCon!
Excited to see how these large ships factor into gameplay and how orgs run fleets
Thanks for the tour! Still haven't been able to get on it myself.
Nice tour, haven't got around to check it in the Invictus this year.
Oh I had no idea it was the Idris and not the Javalin for tours this year. Glad you took a spin so I didn't miss it.
Hopefully these cap ships have a fair bit of modularity. I imagine that if you were to replace some of these rooms/modules with cargo you would have a fairly competent cargo ship. Alternatively, can always add more room for computers to run AI Blades and reduce crew overhead.
I can't wait to see the chaos of people running around getting lost during a battle lol
The hell of damage control in smoky corridors.
"Where the hell is damage control?? Get that shield online!"
"Damage control here! We're, um, in the briefing room again and my map's bust!"
Nice walkthrough! I am excited to see them flying around in-game!
I love the T posing Idris pilot lol. Perfect little easter egg :)
I enjoyed getting to tour it myself early in the ILW event
@BoredGamer Pretty cool! I've not been on the Idris tour, so it was interesting to see you wander around :)
Imagine the amount of Furies you could fit in that Hangar Bay. Could potentially get it up the lift into the cargo area as well. Idris + Swarm would be nasty.
Being a fly on the wall while this is in battle and watching all the players and AI running around will be awesome to see. It looks like a really awesome capital ship. It will be interesting once it is in players' hands.
It is supposed to have 3 fighters. If you look at the markings on the ground, under each fighter there’s designated markings for bag 1/2 and then in that blank space further ahead there’s markings for bay3
Thanks for the tour! You saved me going there myself and just getting lost!
Idris seems like just an awesome ship to have with a group of players to go out on more military and mercenary missions around the verse. Or could be cool to use as a mobile military base. I imagine large fleet fights wouldnt be the only use.
I always have fun going around the convention halls. I'm weird like that. Still haven't caught the Idris but I'm stoked to see it.
thanks for the tour. i haven't been able to get in it myself.
I really feel like people are going to very rarely get this thing crewed up, but when they do it’ll be pretty awesome
I finally got one yesterday! So excited for this thing!
Star Citizen's community events are the best part of my gaming week.
Man, I hope there's some sort of Halo style boarding and evacuation on one of the capitol ships in SQ42. What a cool ship.
Such a very handsome frigate.👍🏿 Yes it carries three fighters, you can see it has three of those engine wash deflector things. Whatever they’re called.🇺🇦🇭🇹🇵🇸
The Idris is gonna be a really awesome ship to command in the future :D Ty for the video tour!
Was flying around the Idris enjoying the view a few mins ago.
Loved the Idris tour. I noticed that you mentioned an Org during your video, any chance you will start profiling orgs or running short missions with them to get a feeling for their style?
Very neat ship, wish I had actually managed to get on one back during the Idris boarding mission.
I wonder if the mpuv spawns when you call the idris or do you have to load it up separately like how the p52 spawns with the connie.
Nice! I'm going to have to log in and go check out the Idris, thanks for the update!
Pretty cool ship! Still havent found it in game to run around myself. So it will be in players hands when sq42 comes out? Think there will be salvage missions for these sooner?
I'm looking forward to seeing this in Squadron42. It will be nice seeing it being used by a full NPC crew
Wow that Argo room is great info! I missed it wandering around on the tour.
It looked like the hangar for that was open but the Navy guy didn't have an eva suit on. Or is it just bugged?
Have yet to see the capital ships myself. Always seem to miss them when im at the stations.
The Idris is going to be a very fun ship once the game release and we get a lot more fleet combat in the game. I bet you can fit twice the number of Gladius in that ship, or like 30 Furys
not had a chance to goto the idris yet, thanks for the tour
We are close to being in a verse where capital ships will be a relatively common sight..i cant wait
I’m glad I’m not the only one. I’ll print myself a map if game glass doesn’t have them. I’m starting to realize I may not have needed this in my hanger.
It will be interesting to see the different fighters and such players will be able to cram in that thing to surprise whoever they're fighting. Look it's a lone Idris then boom like 50 fury's pop out, I can't even imagine the shenanigans a whole flight deck of pulses could do.
How cool will it be strapping a legionnaire with combat suits to the side of one of these and taking it over!?!? Oh man I can’t wait!
When I did the tour one of the docking ports was open to space, a serious oversight and safety concern 😂
Incredible. Looking forward to gameplay in the Idris.
I just loved the T-posing Captain. Great tour as always Bored, thank you.
Im really excited for the capital ships to be in player hands. I would love to launch from my org’s idris to battle other ships and run proper big operations.
Seeing the idris so close to completion has given me new hope for this games longevity
While I am not that excited about the Idris, that hanger does look exactly like I hoped it would.
So awesome and great to see these capital ships! They seem so big though to use practically… dang fun to have though!
It took me so long to find this ship and I was happy to get to check it out I only wish it was busier it was very empty when I was in it.
4:36 We need a ship that has a T-posed statue on the front like a Bentley hood ornament or those old sailing ships
Zerg's fighting is gonna be unreal.
The schedule signs for the Idris tour haven't been working, so the only way is waiting for it to arrive, or trying to find it by flying to each station.
That bridge looks really nice!
hard to believe you actually found that stinking Idris. I've been looking for days now. Fun pseudo fact: multiple Gladius are called "Gladieyes" (Glad-E-eyes) LOL
“Gladii”. No “s”. “Glade-ee-eye”.
@@CastleBravo023 "glade-ee-eye" I actually like that better.
I haven't been able to find the elevator to the Docking Bay to take the Idris Tour.
Can't wait to see this come to org battles
How do we find the Idris to tour? Why am I not seeing signs at space station showing UEE tour status? Saw them a few days ago but not now...
Exploring the insides of the Idris made me really want to experience the daily life of a pilot stationed on it.
Thanks for the tour.
Absolutely waiting for in-game missions taking place aboard one of these, or a derelict on a planet we can pursue a subject within.
I think it would be cool in the future in some solar system the UEE had a graveyard for retired military ships that your could tour like the Intrepid in New York. Thanks for the great daily uploads bored!
Thanks for the walk through.
I felt like a hamster in a maze on the Idris, wish it was more open. It was big though.
I have found it docked to stations, but I can’t find sec 1-3 in the elevator list. I assumed it was bugged, is it getting better?
Yes, having trouble locating the Idris. Bouncing between Hurston n Arcorp daily... lots of fireworks, but always seem to miss the tour.
Any suggestions?
I'd be happy to crew one of these. This also got me excited for SQ42.
Looks like it'd be fun for org gameplay, wonder how much the idris-p will be in game?
Thanks for the update...
It will be awesome seeing this fully crewed and operated by players.
I love the little hidden areas
When I get the chance I’ll be giving this a tour as well when I have the opportunity.
Nice vid as always! ⭐️
