How I completed the Inferno in 5 days with Eldritch/Ely (Pillar hopping method no Justiciar)(OSRS)

- The full run to my zuk inferno video. This shows how i did the waves before the final boss fight. Overall my inferno experience was a lot better than i thought it would be. I used the high waves to pillar hop and use a few sara brews for mistakes. This is kinda why i didn't bring justiciar to the run. even with just ely and a few tanked hits at wave 60+ i usually only used 1-2 doses.
This allowed for me to have 7 brews going into jad wave. The eldritch also gave me enough prayer to not use any supplies until late wave 40s.
I hope this shows that the inferno isn't as hard as people think it is. I never really did attempts because i always tried to pray flick perfectly and would die at wave 30-40. I would stay behind 1 pillar trying to flick the mage/blob or ranger at the same time. With a ely it isn't really needed and you can just run around the room until wave becomes solvable.

Yea it’s really easy to tank with just ely. I had a few waves where I took a lot of damage and ran from pillar to pillar 3 times but I usually only use 1-2 Sara brew doses most of the time.

Then i got my blowpipe. You think im better off selling my ely and using a crystal shield and getting an eldritch and some ancestral pieces?
you could use ahrim's instead of ancestral its just for nibblers. I think you could go without eldritch its more risky for my runs since i bring about 10 sara brews into the run. You could bring around 6-8 but would need to use less pray throughout the run. I bring the extra sara brews for waves 61-64 i make a lot of mistakes and run from pillar to pillar a lot.
you could go without ely but it really makes waves 60+ a lot easier. I would suggest trying a few runs out with ely and seeing how well you do at higher waves. If you can pray flick nicely and take no damage then you could bring a eldritch instead if running low on pray.
You could also bring justiciar and some ancestral pieces for less brews and more restores. Once you start doing some runs you'll get a nice setup for how you wanna do inferno
hey man nice video, just wondering what the plugin + specific toggle it is to get monsters to just disappear instead of showing their death anim? I feel like this would really help me atm
Entity hider -> Hide Dead NPCs
It’s entity hider plugin. I haven’t toggled the plugin on/off in a while so think deathmask is right

Damn lol tanking the rangers and blobs in ancestral top aswell. I held my breath at wave 63 lool. I guess ely helps more than I thought.
do you think ances top > virtus top?
Virtus might be good not really needed though. Magic bonus is really high compared to masori even with torva on. For example I’m barraging nibblers with torva/ely and the nibblers are dying in 1 hit most of the time. Virtus just increases barrage damage by 4% which isn’t really needed since nibblers have low hp and the tank setup is really accurate compared tbow/masori setup.(don’t need max dps for barrages)
Ancestral is really useful for after solving the waves the 2% bonus from anc top and shadow is pretty strong. Can use either though the total dps difference from ancestral to full virtus is around 8% so with virtus top would be even less. Full ancestral is just nice for dps boost and slightly faster runs

I know you literally said in game "inferno has no mechanics". It is 100% true that you can complete inferno while ignoring all the mechanics, but saying that it has no mechanics is wrong phrasing. You can complete it this way or you could actually learn the mechanics and complete it the way it was intended. I used the latter way and I'm glad I did.
That is very true it was kind of my response when the other 2 players were in toa lobby talking to that one person about toa. Found it really disappointing they were basing their skill off of toa runs when I’m not even a good player but 500s feel afk just because I’ve ran them a lot. I think toa does have skill but it’s definitely lower than other raids which is what I meant more than inferno taking no skill
For inferno it definitely requires skill. I’ve been trying to learn it for ca’s and can’t even complete a run although I have been getting better at it. For cheese methods like I used in video it definitely was not much skill lol
@@momoflipMwvids All good bro, it took me a lot longer getting first kc when I only camped north pillar and didnt use justiciar. Waves 61-63 are hardest part.
On wave 64 you could have trapped the melee coming from the west, by staying a mid on west side of pillar then running to west side of North pillar, then wait for ranger to drag in (might take 1 hit from melee) then run 3 tiles North, dps melee then run on West side of pile (prayer range) and then dps other melee, run North side and kill mage. This run looks like it took very little skill and more so luck but congrats tanker noob

I used to have a lot of trouble with jads/triples but after doing a few more inferno runs/6 jads I’ve got triples down to 3-5 minutes.
It used to feel impossible to pray flick 3 jads with healers now it feels so slow lol
Tanked 3 Zuk hits btw.. the first 47 you got in first ranger mage set was not from the ranger...But glad you got your cape surprised it took this long. I cant do a 500 ATM but have 17 zuk KC 😂
wow i kept rewatching ranger from 1st set earlier to see how i took so much damage i thought the 47 was from ranger not zuk lol. I got really lucky
@@momoflipMwvids Yea you also tick ate near the end with the healers.
I think he had 6 hp and chugged a brew the same tick he got hit an 8 by the healer, so he would've been -2 hp if he brewed 1 tick later/got pidded(if that's possible?) hahah, scary stuff
