- The past few days i've been doing some Fortis Colosseum attempts trying to get the Dizana's quiver. Overall this took about 80 attempts with 13 boss attempts. I was really stuck on the bosses triple melee attack but after practicing the pray flicks with other peoples video examples i was able to complete the boss in 2 attempts after.
Other than some of the boss mechanics learning the waves wasn't too bad and i found it easier than inferno. It was pretty fun making improvements every day learning a few waves every day(could only get to around wave 6 my first day and 8 my 2nd).
I might get a full example run with some dps calcs not too sure yet though since im kinda burned out of the colosseum and probably going to do some raids for a while. - Hry

it's from when i learned inferno i got really used to it lol. i feel like i can play without it but it feels nice to have it on though. only use it for inferno/colosseum not anywhere else

Damm clean asf boss fight any tips for learning the triple melee timing?
you can watch videos of the boss fight and pray flick in your client at the same time. i died 9 times in a row from the mechanic never getting past it. after some practice flicking while watching videos though i can do it almost every time without messing up

I really like shadow for the wave 10-11 a-b spawns and ice barrage the fremmenicks and wave is solved really easy.(i donno how people have quartet/solarflare/volatility/arceeus spellbook and solve these waves perfectly along with mage manticore/ranger spawn consistently lol) other than that I scythe all waves i have solved and usually average around 25 minutes
Eventually wanna switch my setup to full range/melee/arceeus/4 way mage if i can get the fremmenick spawns down with the hard 10-11 spawns
Which part of the video was the triple melee attack? Made it looked smooth so didn't notice a "difficult" part.
1:31 is one of the triple attacks the boss does. i had alot of trouble getting the timing down. I feel like i suck at learning mechanics but i get them down really good when i practice . for around my first 10 attempts i always died with 6+ brews on the mechanic. Then after getting it down once i got way better at the timing
@@momoflipMwvids Oh, is there a reason you can't keep on melee prayer? I haven't looked into the specifics of the colosseum yet.
the boss turns melee pray off if you turn it on too early. so need to turn on prayer right when the boss attacks then turn it off for each melee

Would you say this or inferno is harder?
I think colosseum is harder finding solves in the inferno is harder for me though. with the b5 tile in the colosseum going to the nw pillar most of the waves are solved and waves 9-11 can be really easy.(npc's dont attack for a few seconds so makes it way easier to see mobs in waves for solves) its really rare to get a bad spawn where you can't take out the closest npc then the mager/minotaur.
There are really hard solves like on 11 where a manticore and mager spawn and the manticore fires range first and the mager is attacking at the same time and either need to run to another pillar or find a way to get the mager on a different tick. This all happens while a ranger/manticore/mager are on the other side of the pillar. this can end runs in a few seconds.
For inferno i feel like spawns seem a lot more random and the blob mechanics make it way harder to pray flick for me while most of the colosseum spawns are solved but you take a lot of damage from mistakes and spawns that are bad. this can be kinda cheesed though with ely and running pillar to pillar.(in the inferno)This means to just get a completion inferno can be cheesed but colosseum needs perfect pray flicking for the whole run. Even in inferno without ely can tank a blob/ranger/melee with blowpipe while a mager is on you and just spam brews. Its really hard to do this in the colosseum for example when ranger/mager are on you either need to off tick or run to another part of pillar
Getting a inferno completion seems easier to me. It's alot harder to do the inferno mechanically for me than it is the colosseum though.
I’m at 5 kc right now and what makes this so frustrating compared to inferno is the debuff RNG and the wave spawn RNG, sometimes on 6 8 and 11 you can get really screwed over
yea the invos can be really bad sometimes. have had doom, doom scorpion, and healing totems on 9-10 before and its a reset for run. some of the waves are impossible to pray flick too especially on some 10-11 spawns at the beginning unless running to another pillar
