  • Let’s explore Sandals Royal Curacao, the brand new Sandals property that opened June 1, 2022.
This is the 16th resort for Sandals and the first one in the ABC Islands. We had an amazing time and hope you will enjoy this look at the resort.
Note: this was filmed within the first 2 weeks of the resort opening, and it was not 100% complete. If you are traveling later in 2022, 2023, or beyond, take this video with a grain of salt, as it will be complete and look immaculate, like all Sandals properties!

Thank you for providing detailed information, actual video footage of the property! This will help us decide which room we choose for our vacation. Do you recommend getting a butler room? What is the best room other than, Awa and Kurason? Any concerns about COVID when you arrived?

You are very welcome! If you can afford Butler, I definitely recommend it! But we typically do Club Level and are happy! The Amante butler rooms are great and in a quieter area of the resort. We didn’t have any COVID concerns!

Nope! Building 8 is the farthest left when looking at the resort
There are only 5 BSUP rooms total. Loved the privacy (the SSUP rooms have a path in front so people walk by)

My only concern after watching the video was the construction and stuff not being fully opened... I believe you guys went in the beginning of June, the week after the opening... My wife and I have our honeymoon (woohoo 4 days married) planned for Royal Curacao on July 16 but are nervous about the state of the resort, especially since we are booked in the Club level Melemele walk-out suite. We are debating switching to Sandals Royal Barbados (after watching your videos) with butler service or Sandals Grenada (which we know you havent reviewed yet). We have watched a ton of your videos and were wondering if you think it would be worth it to make the switch?

Hi Keith! Thanks for watching! Personally, I believe it’s already a completely different resort than when we visited in early June. All the restaurants are now open and the landscaping/construction progress is insane!!
