Really appreciated this review! Your thoughts are well-articulated and you talked about a lot of interesting details other reviewers hadn’t mentioned. The only feedback I’d give, is the background music is maybe a hair too loud 😁
We just got back from sandals curacao. Our first sandals. We are going back February 2024. We loved it! We've checked out other sandals online and I just can't get over that at this sandals, the location for everything from our room was superb. We stayed in sunchi 1 building Beachfront and Oceanview and we could watch the nighttime entertainment from our room if we chose to do so. We were directly in front of the beach entertainment area. We tried to upgrade our room to a swim up room directly under us but every room on property was already already booked but honestly, we never saw anyone in their swim up pools. We did club level and doing the same again because butler just isn't us. For the little we would use it, I feel it would be a waste. In my opinion, the location of our room was prefect for us. We were literally steps away from from the beach and pools. Our favorite bartender was Alana in the lobby bar. She made the best drinks! She's from the Grenada sandals so we just might switch our curacao trip to Grenada since she'll be going back there in 6 months. You are right, the swim up bar is still slow and the drinks were ok but none of the bars made the drinks as good as Alana. The manager was at the lobby bar one day when we were getting our first drinks for the day and I mentioned that Alana was the best and he said he knew. He said they tried to move her to another bar one day and they had so many complaints that everyone wanted Alana back so they brought her back up to the lobby bar before noon. Might I be basing my next vacation to Sandals on a bartender? You bet! My husband surprised me our 15th anniversary vow renewals...Alana made our drinks as a surprise. All in all, the best hospitality and attention to detail of any of our many vacations. I feel once you go Sandals, nothing else measures up! All in all, we loved curacao sandals and we will definitely go back! Congratulations on your marriage!

Headed there next May for our 27th wedding anniversary. I thought this was a great video and I enjoyed your commentary. Can't wait to go! And I just got my lock in mail today for the Punda Hearts. We are staying at the Brion City Hotel for one night before heading to Sandals.
Thank you for your awesome review. My boyfriend and I are actually booked at the Montego Bay property, but after watching your video the Curaçao 🇨🇼 location looks like a better option for us. I think I heard you said you flew in from DC. Do you recommend a particular airline? We wanted to do Royal Barbadoes, but the flights were expensive.
Hello! America Airlines. For Montego Bay, Southwest out on BWI for no stop and good prices. I am headed to the new Sandal Dunns River soon. Montego Bay is a great property but the pools are small. We can pool people. Most people love the beach there.
@@Shanycolethank you! I’ve been to Antigua (honeymoon), Montego Bay, Royal Caribbean and Negril (on a day trips), Ochi, and Grenada. I enjoyed them all but Ochi. I like trying different islands. You done sold me on changing from Grande St Lucia to Curaçao 😂😊. I keep hearing great things about it Sandals Royal Curaçao. Grenada was a really nice… I didn’t expect it to be so great… I think you should consider visiting that resort one day.
@candygal3923 curaçao and Dunn River are my favorite. If you want a large resort with tons to do go to Curaçao. I also love the island. It was so fun to do so many different activities.
@@Shanycole I hear Dunn’s River is nice! I wanted to wait to go there until the Sandals Royal Dunn’s River resort opened up. They said it will be the same side by side concept as in Barbados.
