So my son Reid has had this 12 volt Power Wheels for about 5 months and he absolutely loves it and rides it every day. I found a 24 volt conversion kit for it and decided to give it a shot. I bought a kit from MLtoys.com and it came as a plug and play unit.
I got the batteries charged up and installed in the four wheeler and he was having a blast until it stripped out the gears in one of the tires.
I couldn't believe what a difference the 24 volt conversion made. I would definitely recommend getting one if your kid enjoys speed. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
This kids natural capabilities of whipping that bike are extremely impressive. It’s time for the real thing next year
countersteers like a champ
I almost criticized you for the no-helmet deal then I remembered that's how we rolled in the 80's and we did just fine for the most part! Honestly, this kid is super talented on that quad!
This is so satisfying
The look of joy on that boys face when it took off is priceless
Dad of the year material
Good Dad! Ive got two of the KFX running on 18v lipos for my kiddos.
I put 6s there, after seeing this, i know the limit is 7s for few mins
That's an amazing kid ,nice drifting skills ,God bless you all
Lil man had me smiling ear to ear whipping it around like a pro
Kids a freakin natural . The way he took off was very unexpected! Just bought my little 3 year old nephew a 12v jeep
I LOVE WATCHING IT AS MUCH AS HE LOVES RIDING IT !! As adults we still ride the same .... donuts and drifting, all at full throttle
Wow. This kid has skill. Counter steering and all!!
hahaha your kid is loving that thing, would be a proud father
I love those initial burnouts! HAHAHA
My son was 1 1/2 when he hopped on his first electric powered zero-turn. That thing was awesome when he finally got passed the intimidation period. He was zoomin' around not even looking where he was going. It's amazing how bright little kids are when they understand how it works. :)
He's a natural at drifting 🇺🇸👍🏼
Amazing modification ! Should do what I did and wrap the back tires with a bicycle tire.
You'll get way better grip.
My dad did this for me 34 years ago on the "Bigfoot" powerwheels. 34 years later I'm still racing cars lol ;) great job
You should be proud dad. At 5:15 that kid is backing that quad in the turn. Adapted really quick and hauling ass.
Thanks man I am definitely proud
Kids a natural, loved seeing him laugh
i cant believe hes 2 1/2 already, seems like yesterday i saw you posting you having a kid. Looks like a natural!
That's cool , he's having a ball !! Good video !!
Much like your son, I had a perm-grin. That's awesome!
Make sure you keep it high gear since both motors are 12v receiving 12v a piece.. if you put in low gear on these dual motors or reverse all 24v gets directed at one motor burning it up in a second
Did it still have the two speeds after the 24v conversion? Wondering if the foot pedal is still a slower speed and the twist grip adds the boost?
Tim Allen would be proud. ar Ar ARR!

Teach the kid to watch where he's going! Lol
Wicked Proxy I don’t think so tim
Tim Allen would definitely love it.
Lollol super upgrade! Man he knows how to ride that joker! Lol I got my nephew the same quad earlier this year but i don't think he's ready for 24volts lol
He is gonna be a drift master soon haha
Good video guys
Riding it like a pro man! counter steering and all
Where did you get the conversation kit I have the exact same same one i want to do this!
Dude that is awesome. To be a kid again
He handles that thing amazingly. Loves to drift.
that's awesome Cole! he sure handled it well! teaching him young, ya gotta pay to play! adding that power means ya gotta wrench more haha ! great video!
That is freaking awesome man!
Hahaha....Reid's first viral video! So much for grass in your yard. He'll have a oval track beat in the dirt in no time LOL
haha, good thing I don't worry about the yard, feel sorry for the neighbors!!

Dang he is good ! tossing that 24v around like a champ
Nice!!!!!!! Might have to do that for mine. Make a vid of you taking it apart too see if the gears can be replaced with better ones.
dude that's bad ass. I just bought this for my sons 3rd bday I'm definitely doing this to it
It's pretty awesome for sure, just be ready to upgrade the motors and gears as well
I have a power car for my kid which holds two 12 v , 10k rpm gears, operated on a 12 v battery, if i upgrade to 24 v wudnt that burn out the motors in the gears?
Timmie would be proud!! Sitting on the side of the hill gassing it!
Where do I buy the upgrade parts?
That's badass madram I can see him whipping a banshee or a 250r around in a couple years
Kids got a future on the flat track nice
Man! Great job, Daddy of the year! You little guy is in his way to kick in ass and takin names! Get this dude lined up for race weeks! He is on his way!! But.... slow down? You see how he HANDLED that wheeler! Shyyyyyyit! Most kids these days would’ve bumped into that pole in your yard still on the 12 v and fell out crying looking for a kiss and a hug to make it all better! Good job
That lil guys a natural! Great job dad!!
Thanks
DAMN, I wish I knew how to do a 24V conversion when I was 8
SpotterJacob marker
I'm 37 and wish I knew how to do it now. Trying to rig my daughter's. I don't care so much if it goes faster, I just want it to last longer than 15 friggin mins. It would be a lot cooler if her dad would do it instead of me trying to figure it tf out. Pain in my ass...
@@TruthIsARuin u only getting 15 minutes run time
@@billycheek4220 Yeah, I just ordered a couple new batteries though. Guess we'll see what happens
How the hell would you still be riding one of those at 8
Parrenting done well!!!
Now, little guy needs real quad or dirtbike that can handle it's power..
He will get a PW50 when he turns 3
+MadRam11 Nice job, that quad drifts like my Blaster on snow!!!

I can’t believe some people could actually dislike this boo! It’s 😎🤙🏽
your boy can sure ride great for his age... I have a e-gocart in the works for my boy and he has a 12v atv. I use a 18v DeWalt battery i love it, he can ride for a long and we have 2 batts so he swaps out batts and keeping riding no problems in the last 2 months.
Thanks
Might wanna build a wheelie bar now!! Great video man, you seem like your a very good dad!! Keep it up man!!
Thanks
Time for some RCVs
Tim Parkin
A smile on lil big guys face is the only thing that matters
Wow amazing my son has dirt bike im gonna have to fix him up, god when i was a kid what i wouldnt of did for one of them. Fun fun
neat conversion they didnt have anything like that when i was growing up .there are a lot of young hotrodders out there thanks to this upgrade.😅😅😅😅😅
You should do what i did after my mods , i had to run 1/4"" hex head screws in the rear wheels so they stopped getting stuck everywhere. Worked like a dream
yeah going to do that or put some rubber bicycle wheels around it
That little boy is a very good rider already reminds me of my 3 boys
That is bad ass!!!!!!!!! Ordering that for my daughter RIGHT NOW!!!! Great video have fun
Thanks man, its definitely awesome upgrade
That boy is going to be real good rider. He already has the aware and peripheral use. 24v... he can handle a lot more !
Thanks, he is racing dirt bikes now, we have some videos of him now
Holy shit!! That things crazy fast for what it is with the 24v!
Did u have to bypass the twist throttle booster??
The lil man is hooked, go pop!
Welp your looking at a future quad racing champion mark my words! He was doing donuts like a boss lol!
haha, Thanks man
Get that little dude on a dirt bike! My dad was the same way, he had me on a YZ-80 when I was 4 , with the mono shock taken out so I could reach the foot pegs! He’s awesome
davedalessandro8189 Dalessandro not at all , Is gona brake the engine forcing on it for to long.. and the dad doesnt tell him of.. he should comunicate verbaly a beat more with his sun
My youngest son was a natural like that with riding toys too before he was 2. I bought him a peewee 50 for his 3rd birthday birthday and he drove that thing like a scalded ape. He never bitched when he wrecked and was always more concerned about his bike. We hopped it up several times, and even added a big bore kit and competition pipe before he was 5. He rode that thing on our property every day.
Then he started school...he lost interest in riding, and started playing video games. He's 11 years old now, 50 pounds overweight, and crys when he gets a paper cut. I have no idea what happened, it was a gradual decline, so I didn't really see it coming initially. Now I go outside to ride my bike on our property, my 8 year old daughter comes out with me to ride her power wheel style car that I have added a better battery too. My son sits on the couch, usually leaning on his momma looking at a tablet. I was going to try to enhance her car a little to give it more speed, but I think I'll probably just find a good used 4 wheeler instead, since she's really too big for that thing anyway....she just loves it. Its crazy though, I thought he'd be my riding buddy for life, and it turns out his little sister, who was afraid of the noise when she was little, now has bigger balls than him. I don't see that happening to her, when I go out, she's right there.
Man im reading the exact same chapter in the book called life! My son is 11 and he went from wanting to help daddy work on cars, to wanting to do nothing but sit on his tablet 24/7. Of course I try not to let him, but momma bear always seems to give it back to him as soon as im not looking...but my 12 year old daughter has developed the interest that he lost...no matter where i am or what im doing, my daughter is right there next to me...I gotta say something i think you already know, but this time with your daughter is so important to her and for her...and im super glad you and her get to share something as fun as riding! sometimes when i would rather just go out by myself to clear my head (my mom passed away not too long ago) I remember that she wont be a little girl who wants to hang out with daddy forever...and away i go, with her right next to me!
That's bad ass! Coolest dad in the world!
Awesome! Your boy has some skills!
Slow down? Seems this kid has it mastered💯🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for sharing. That was Awesome! I had to watch because I wanna get my son one of those. Your kid can ride! My son is a little dare devil himself.😂 I really hate it couldn't handle the extra power though. 😞
This boy has got some crazy mad skills.
Hows the power wheels holdinig up after lil over 4 yrs if it was used a good bit? thinking about doing a conversion. So far my kids powerwheels is converted to a 4 hr lawn mower battery. Interested in putting another one in the mix making it 24 volt. But i heard it will ruin the motor of the lower voltage powerwheels. Dont wanna ruin a $300+ powerwheels.
Man he got all my money out of this thing! He rode the wheels off of it. It still runs it just needs new tires. I ended up replacing the gears and motors with stronger ones. My son is 6 now and races dirt bikes.
I wonder if you could treat the wheels with liquid rubber for added traction.
where di du get the conversion kit
that was so badass lol, he can drive
this kid is a total BADASS!!! I have seen adults who couldn't handle a drift like that!!!
Looks like he's having a blast! 36V conversion?! LOL!
That kid effortlessly handles that ATV better than most adults.
Lol this is hilarious. That is cool and little man was handling it like a pro lol. Oh yeah Roll Tide!!!!!
HE LOVES IT MAN!! 😀
When I did it for my boys I rapped wheels with duck tape it had more traction. Nice riding
Nice work man!
Hey there, I suggest adding some mountain bike tyres around the back tyres, that way he will gain so much more traction
Hoping you see this comment soon Just got one question for you.
Is this battery installation just 2 battery put in series on the same existing motor.
Or is there anything needed to buy to hook this up. And work properly
Wil 24 volts burn out 12 volt motor
Where did you buy that ride on ?
Your kid's first cuss word...……...HELL YEAH!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
what the gearbox break after that mod well our motto round here is go big or go home
Did u make your own gears for it
Good while it lasted - some nice drifting - I was going to suggest screwing old bike tires to the wheels for grip but it would have been a disaster given that the gears got stripped out so quick - and probably would flipped the quad if the gearing was not shattered on first turn of the throttle.
Is it just a bigger battery?
Epic--------------------doing it this weekend
hey man I want to do that with my son's Dodge did you just get a boat battery and hook it up??
Master Blaster it tells in the description where I got the kit for it
How long Is the charge ? I mean working, 2-3 hours?
Got a electric quad myself.. Only I don't get it to work. Won't start up or something.. I replaced the speed controller, the starter (choke) and the speed handle. It aren't the batteries for sure. Have measured it with multimeter every 4 hours and they're not leaking. It's an original 36 volt electric brush motor. Got 3x 14 volt battery under the seat. Maybe you could give me some advice to get this thing running again.
MvA VisuFrame sounds more like you need to learn English first, then learn that electric vehicles don't have a starter or a choke.
I want to buy one for my son who turns 2 in couple of weeks but i noticed the ATV doesn't have a buckle (Seat belt). Do you think its still safe?
Yes he should be fine
Did you had to upgrade the drive? … or is the drive 24V ready?
Wow your son is ready for Nascar. Great Job Buddy!
Thanks 👍
how do you charge the batteries. will they charge connected too via factory charger?
yes it uses the factory charger, it comes with an adapter to make it work
That's freakin cool brah!!
Take sum rubbee from a snow machine track and sheet screws on the rear tires. I did this to my sons after the 24v upgrade. Best traction
Kid's a natural drifter!
A lot of these vehicles have the same type of 540 motor that are in electric r/c cars. I put a dr speed 540 in my sons trike. Did about 25mph. He used to ride it until he was about 8 when the axle bushes gave out.
yeah I upgraded the electrical motors after this video
I see a nice elastic rubber wrap for the rear wheels for added traction! That would make for some fun!
yeah got a plan for the wheels to help have more traction
super awsome! time to get some kinda rubber on those wheels tryin to think of something that might work maybe theres a spray you can spray on them or something you an glue to the wheels for more traction. might i also suggest getting a brushless motor of some sort and upgrading the plastic gears
Thats a cool ass dad...keep up the job bro.
Thanks
I’m looking for my son a quad too this looks soo clutch
My son just turned 3 and learned to ride his bike with training wheels like a pro then now the ATV power wheels omg if you seen him you would think he was 5 instead of 3! Now i want to convert his from 12v to 24v
