- Ever since I watched the 2018 Rude Boyz RC TTC (the Sled Pull) - and saw a Traxxas UDR pull the judge.. I have been itching to do it myself. I really wanted to see how many pulls I could get on one set of 3s lipo batt's for a total of (6s) 22.2v of power. Also.. I wanted to see if I could max out my weight sled (usually used for Trucks and Tractor pulls), and push this truck to its limits. I have done this with a traxxas XMaxx, as well as the Traxxas Summit. I am very impressed by the UDR - as its design seems to withstand quite a beating. It is one of the toughest trucks I have ever seen.. and has taken much abuse in the past. To see it dominate so well in todays film - was not only a surprise but a pleasure to witness. My truck is 100% stock :)

Amazing that the UDR pulled nearly 100 pounds on dry ground.

Did the same thing with my kids when they were young. They're all in their 20's now and all successful I believe because of the positive influence of the parents (despite the mistakes we make) and the fun we had with RC. Keep it up my friend, not only is it fun but it will pay off....👍

Yes Aaron you are correct the UDR is not meant for pulling. Lol but who are we to judge 😉. They are also not ment to jump 6 foot gravel mounds , but we did that. Got a couple negative comments about it too. Lol. Oh well RC fun and push them to the limit. 👍😉

I run mine however makes me laugh most. If I bash a crawler and I'm laughing, it's all in good fun.

A tremendous amount of weight on that sled. I thought it would snap the axle especially if the towline slipped to the left wheel which can account for it pulling to the left. But I couldn't see if that was the case. I'm really, really impressed with this truck and having cool batteries afterwards is stunned me. Most enjoyable my friend. You keep it really interesting. Im totally new to this RC'ing hobby and I've seen a few cars and trucks. Drifting is more my thing but this is a beast! I'm amazed by the battery life and durability. I used to have race cares in the late 80's and early 90's but they always broke after 20 mins give or take of use and if I didn't break a wheel the batteries sucked so bad. I'm looking for a new hobby and this looks like its it. In Chicago there isn't many places to buy parts, Etc and I hate buying what I cant touch or see at least until I'm more familiar with the hobby. But the truck is a BEAST!

Buy my math 38 + 16 + 16 + 17 + 10= 97 lb😱 holy💩! What an amazing truck, it bashes it crawls it's a high flying jumper and is a pulling truck, what more can you ask for from an RC! You have so many RC's it's hard to remember if the UDR has been introduced to the Superman ramp yet? Amazing video, and yes it is possible to smoke your tires on dirt with gravel in it.💨 Those rocks are not kind to tires with that kind of wheel speed! Keep the awesome content coming and love in the CZcams Gold! Not to be nosy but I was trying to guess the amount of money you have and RC equipment to do all that work! If you don't mind I'm sure we would all love to know!

nice video i wish i had a rc crawler so i can get my self in to the rc hobby
I honestly thought it would do pretty well. It is a fairly heavy truck compared to what the Judge is usually hooked too, and the short course tires' different rubber compound and tread pattern likely works better as a pulling tire than the softer tires the crawlers run. Sled pull and Tug O War are won by heavy vehicles with better traction.

Mine loves to climb hills. You would think that something that goes that fast could have that much torque. Brushless power. And I prefer 4S on training mode. Acts more like a trophy truck and goes through turns with its locked rear axle way better. No more barrel rolls. No more 5 foot jumps because I underestimated Traxxas power. This desert race fan, off roader and desert dweller loves his UDR in what I call “Pro Scale Mode”

If that truck had more grip Id bet the battery, motor and ESC would be much hotter! But still for the UDR to pull that much weight just shows the kind of power and torque these brushless motors are producing!

He has a video of his xmaxx and his summit pulling in a video and it did good too. I think UDR did better though. Actually in beginning of video a bubble popped up in beginning of the video saying general xmaxx vs. Judge or whatever, but that's the xmaxx video bud

What a power house, always enjoy your enthusiasm. Curious as to your thoughts on the WPL 1/16 vehicles, wanting to get back into the hobby again but have a very limited budget. They seem to have lots of metal upgrade parts and have great body detailing. Always a fan, best regards.
The 959b version is a beast. Hard to control the thing.
Love rc, dont have one, love your channel and been sub for years now but traxxas have been soOO solid and tough and unbreakable it seems. Fast too. A great all inclusive good solid buy as far as I can see. If i could I would probs get this one to be all inclusive safe rc model to get. Cheers rc spark family. See not even warm. I'm a pro.
