You gotta take your hats off to the Chinese for their hard work. Absolutely incredible city. This is probably not a top-tier 1 city in China, but this city easily beats most of the world's major cities in terms of its development and infrastructures

Its a place that's just incredible if you love to see things, the blend of old and new, ancient and super modern, space age and classical, its sublime at times. What's has been done here in the last 60 years by the Chinese Government has never ever been achieved in human history and its only just warming up. The fact is 20 years from now China will be so far ahead of the World its hard to see how the West can ever come close again, the reality is the lack of corporate greed and control in China frees up its wealth to do the most amazing things for its people and country and indeed extend those projects to its friends and neighbors. The West has been so busy lining the pockets of the few for so long they just cant ever compete now with the endless supply of wealth China can generate for its needs and projects. Be clear China will be on 4000kph maglevs, flying cars, fully automated roads in cities in the next 30 years, and thats just a fraction of whats coming. You think this is space age, its nothing compared to where China will be in the immediate future.
I was on a business trip in Chennai from March to July 2019. The air there is much better than in Delhi. To avoid the scorching sun, I used Ola to call a taxi every day and traveled through the garbage-filled streets. Fortunately, it never rained in those months. Even the Novotel hotel, which cost $100 a night, had no running water and had to rely on water trucks to supply water to the water tank on the roof. I could only take bath with amber water. The people there were very welcoming. They would smile at me even when they were peeing on the street.
I stayed in Zhuhai for more than two months and also visited there many times. It’s one of best places I have ever been. Very nice city with friendly people. I have so many friends from there. It’s is good place for TCM and therapeutic massages. It has a restaurant with only vegetarian buffet for 40 RMB. That was the best food I ever had in my life, so many varieties, very healthy and tasty.
The seashell buildings at 4:20, they look really good up close. Also helps that my in laws have an apartment that overlooks these concert halls on the other side of the main road. It's usually quite busy there until up to 11 - 12am almost every night. The red 'floating restaurant' at 4:50 is no longer in use which is unfortunate. Was a pretty good place to eat back in 2012. I was there again last year and it was empty inside when we drove past this place. Another interesting piece of info. Most of these flash buildings/malls were not there back in 2012. Where the 2 seashell concert halls sit, there used to be a lot of fishing boats parked up there (Zhuhai used to be a small fishing town in the 70s and 80s). Things progress really fast in China no matter what city you visit in there. On a good clear day, you can actually see the current Hong Kong airport from the seashell concert halls vicinity too.
Zhuhai will be the new thriving business hub with Shenzhen and Hong Kong of the Greater Bay Area for the future! Such a beautiful place with amazing views of the Port.
Can you imagine all of this amazing clean futuristic architecture was in the U.S? The U.S government would be arrogant af. This is why they are so jealous of China.

Probably none. Therefore they are iconic buildings that inspire the city landscape but in reality nothing more than picturesque structures.

I absolutely love the cyberpunk vibe, something about neon lights and mega structures gives a soothing feeling.
20 years ago I was in Zhuhai but it looked totally different now. Wow, just wow. Just amazing what the city has achieved in such a short time.
