    Feverfew is amazing for migraines. I spent years on various triptans for attacks and this supplement helped the most. I found it cumulative so it took a week or so until I actually realised that one day my headache hadn't grumbled toward being another migraine. Definitely recommend it!

    Also a migraine girlie. My hot tips: 1. Find a ‘levels’ treatment protocol that works for you. Sometimes I need the level 3 heavy duty stuff, sometimes it’s only level 1. Often you just need to break the cycle of cluster migraines to get past it. 2. I have had good results taking BioCeuticals Migraine Care which has the level of B2 vitamins found to be effective for migraines. 3. Peppermint oil on the head / neck for relief is a new find and works surprisingly well. Also a big fan of an ice pack on the head in bed.
    The Huberman Lab did a great intro to headaches + types of migraine podcast recently. I felt like I learned more from it than all my neurologists combined!
    I only started getting migraines at 24, and then went through a period of 2 years of up to 4 migraines a week. It was absolutely wild. I’m 33 now and have a handle on them and can manage some months with 0 to a max of 2-4 in a way that doesn’t interrupt daily life. I’ve got a few different triggers that I now recognise - insane stress, most alcohol (wine sadly, even natural), and the week before my period.

    Hi! I get similar migraines/headaches and I've had great success with seeing an osteopath. Turns out my migraines are related to my breathing (or lack thereof) which is of course a result of stress and anxiety. Perhaps breath-work and meditation could work for you too.

    • @LindseyHolland
      @LindseyHolland  Před 9 měsíci

      Thank you so much. Ostepoath very much on my list next too xx

      I used to get migraines with aura at least monthly. Horrible. Stopped when I went off birth control pill. I had to get off the pill because of the migraines because Dr said that I was at high risk of stroke/blood clots

    Oh Lindsey, head pain can be so debilitating. You may want to look into acupuncture, it helped me with cluster headaches. No idea how you manage to be so pleasant when suffering, I would turn into an ogre from the pain haha. Glad you are feeling a bit better. :)

      Thank you so much! Acupuncture is next on my list. Thankfully they’ve calmed down but you’re right, it’s quite debilitating isn’t it xxx

    Hey Lindsey, so sorry to hear about your migraines. I don’t know how an earth you managed to vlog still. Thats no easy task. They’re so debilitating. As a lifelong migraine sufferer it’s the absolute worst, the pain and afterwards leaves you feeling drained. I have neck problems and think it comes from mid back find it helps to foam roller and stretch daily and see an osteo. Hope you’re feeling much better 🤞

    I have serious neck issues and also has migraines for years. Do you neck muscles get very stiff at the base of your neck? I had a spine specialist look at me like I was crazy, when I thought the two things were connected. I have had injections in my neck a year ago, whichbreduced the muscle spasms. Lo and behold barely any migraines since then. I hope you find the answer.

    hi dear when did you migraines start/worsen? maybe there is something in your apartment making you sick potentially? carbon monoxide? your floors are wood and those blackened bits could be mold. I know mold made all my health issues worse 😢 hoping for your healing asap ❤

    • @LindseyHolland
      @LindseyHolland  Před 9 měsíci

      I’ve got a CM detector and there isn’t any mould here so all ok on health front from that perspective!
