I've been using a relatively cheap Dunlop Spin 300 bat and I've been putting some spin of the ball with much effort. What can I expect a Butterfly bat to play like? (Big improvement? It takes skill?)
He sits to get sever short to the net
And also getting more side spin when he come up
Tomorrow Table Tennis [Non-profit]
This guy is a legend.
your serve is so amazing, just a short movement and the spin is incredible
Best Serve tutorial series ever in youtube, ever. Thanks a lot, there is a huge work for me to do lol
Thank you tabletennistomorrow! I learned a lot and you helped me so much! You are the best table tennis channel on CZcams!
I'll try and explain the Ovtcharov serve. He used to keep his head low to the table as a child when preparing to serve. As he grew taller he continued to keep his head low, which meant that he has had to squat lower and lower as his height increased. This is the explanation from the man himself.
I SEE THX!!!
Can u plz upload again. These tutorials were amazing
Great training videos, please continue posting. Thanks
Thank you so much. I've been waiting for this for so long ;-;

Can you make a video showing more specifically how to generate top spin on the pendulum serve? I have a hard time doing it.
great...for my playing example tehnic..
Best serving series I know of!
I learned a lot, and my serving has improved a lot!
I have one question though.
What are your tips on getting the most spin possible on the serve?
High toss serves produce the most spins
Fh tomahawk is am easy one to do and it produces a lot of spin
THANKS. YES TedSifu. ANd uhh practice brushing on a bed or something lol
The wrist is super-important to get max. spin
amazing
You are the best player in the world
Jossss tenan pokoknya semangat PINGPONG
Thanks for your grt videos...... can you please make a video on foot work after serving from back hand corner to get to recovery position.
CHECK out new video where I kinda mentioned it lool
can u share us what is your racket setup? (blade, rubber & etc)
I watched each of these serve video more than 5 times and find it helps me score more during after work games. Also thank you for decoding Ma Long. I’m actually surprised that Ma Long doesn’t use Reverse pendulum serve like Zhang Jike, maybe it’s because Zhang Jike serve is just obvious enough so it’s the same as a backhand serve. Also there’s a more advance trick to combine a normal pendulum serve with a hook, which used largely by Jun Mizutani.
It really depends on the server. If you have a pretty strong upper body and can do a strong standard reverse serve if Ortcharov by rotating his body like a reverse discus throw, then that alone might be enough. However, if you prefer to be more upright and don't need the exaggerated motion as much. Then you will definitely need to compensate the momentum by the whipping motion of your wrist and forearm to give you exactly the same motion.
As a server, you can use the same serve with variety of motion, direction, speed and spins to your advantage. The possibilities can be endless.
Canice Tang Thanks for the explanation!
Thank you - I really learned a lot from your tutorials. They are very useful tips. I'm a smasher, just curios whether one can smash an under-spin return ball that is relatively high (upper arm to shoulder height). I hit several of them and they went into the net. The experienced players said my timing of hitting the ball was wrong - what is the right timing?
YES you can hit it hard so the spin would have very little influence. It's best to hit at its peak or just a bit before it.
Hey. Would you recommend to put three fingers on the handle when serving backspin or the pendulum serve? I noticed lately that I get more spin if some fingers on the handle (as you mentioned for power), then they act as a lever and give me better and more stable acceleration of the bat.
Can you do a video where you decode Koki Niwa's chopping technique?
never clicked so fast on a video
nice video! BTW just a side question, where can you buy table tennis posters like the ones you have in the back?
THANK YOU! I HAVE MY FIRST CUP! 2ND PLACE

Yesssss goooooood gooood goood
I'm looking to improve my chop and loop lob...some pointers please.
I'm gonna master the fastest serve!
thanks very much i became a regional player!
YES!
Ovtcharov and low head. I thought it was evident for YOU. First, once one acquires a SUCCESSFUL habit in a stressful situation, then PSYCHOLOGICALLY (we are animals after all) one is "condemned" to execute some silly/ridiculous things, even if one understands the its usefulness. For example, I find ridiculous coming to the net to polish the table with one's hand before servicing. Secondly, his and similar tricks (for example throwing a ball very high for service) distracts / irritates a bit your opponents which is quite useful. Thanks for your video!
The players aren't polishing the table, they're wiping sweat off their hands.
Thanks for posting. I am not trying to be critical, but trying to understand. I watched another video that said a serve has to be thrown straight up. Many of your serves seem to be thrown up and move toward your body. Are those legal serves? Thanks. I'm going to go try one of your things now.
is...is. IS THIS A NEW VIDEO?!?!?!?!
Can someone please explain how to read his backhand serve? I can’t tell when it’s topspin or backspin, the motions look very similar
Hey plz can we get next part of this video
can you explane, how to response to this kind of serves? :)
Dima said its something he started when he was a kid that action it's on another video of his , and you forgot to talking about the step on the ground to kick off after service to move faster and trick them on sound of contact
RIGHT!!! THX for your input!
Tomorrow Table Tennis [Non-profit] ps best you tube channel :)
