Absolute LEGEND you are, seriously. I've watched all of your videos at least 3 times EACH (the serve videos close to 10 times now) and I've even created a specific table tennis playlist thanks to you and your videos. Massive thanks, you really deserve more of a spotlight in the CZcams TT community!

Certainly, I made my playlist consisting of 40 videos public now so you should be able to just go to my channel and find the playlist there :)

Exactly the type of information I've been looking for - all in 1 place! Big THANKS!!! Can't wait for part 2!
Amazing video. You did an awesome job explaining how to add different spin with the same motion. It not only helps me to replicate the serves , but allow me to decoding them when is my turn to receive. Please, make more videos like this one, analyzing the serves of the pros and trying to replicate them.
Dude you're killing it! Small tip for the no spin/back spin serve for everyone out there (I think you just forgot to mention it): Stomp your foot on the ground at the moment of contacting the ball. Due to flat hitting vs brushing being the main difference between the variations the sound of the ball can very easily give it away to your opponent. Great video, excited for the next part!
YEAA RIGHT!!
I would say though that making sure to also sometimes stomp your foot on the other servers too or your opponent may see the pattern of you stomping when its a no-spin
better yet, stomp on the other player's foot while they are serving :|
Love the foot stomp, I've been doing it for quite a while.
This method is a guaranteed win. Just take them in the back alley before the game and kick the shit out of them.
this is the first video i watch on this channel. im already in love. thank you for helping new players and potentially getting more people into the sport. great job man.
This is the best video about the serve that I have ever seen before. So much helpful. Highly recommend.

Thank you!
Really appreciate your videos. Your so young and yet a very good player & teacher. Thank You.
Thanks for free and full tutorials man I got improved
Christmas all over again!
Thank you so much!!!!!!
make a tuturial on how to defend serves. thank you! from from Philippines
If backspin: Push or Loop (short = push , long = loop)
If sidespin: topspin the ball
If nospin: same as with sidespin
If top-spin: top-spin it back / block it (heavy spin = block , not so heavy spin = topspin stroke)
In general, if it is long, it is better to try to loop the ball since you begin attacking first. If it's short you should attempt to either add to the spin already on the ball (making it harder for your opponent to attack) or you should try to backspin it (does not work against topspin and nospin).
Hope I expressed myself clearly, and if I'm wrong correct me
@@lb9817 underrated comment, and Im sad he didnt thank you

So hard to read the no spin and backspin. After a few times it becomes more clear. Thank you for your excellent technical advice. Dan Seemiller
Excellent videos as always! You had begun discussing kick serves but never really discussed on how to produce these extra spin serves. Please tell us in detail how to perform kick serves. Keep up the great work. Thank you!

Par Garell uses following variations-
i. Chop serve+real chop follow through
ii. Chop serve+fake topspin follow through
iii. Topspin serve+real topspin follow through
iv. Topspin serve+fake chop follow through
v. Then he can also do weak/no spins with either up or down follow through
vi. He also has mastered heavy kick serve…basically very strong fast topspin
You are da best! helped me so much
Very nice video, thanks !
I'd be interested to hear more about the reasons for the different ball placements for each serves and then which kind of third ball should be done, if you have the occasion.. :)
LOL good point! There's so much to talk about and it's already 20 minutes for just 2 serves.
Great Video! Very informative!

Very informative video TTT. My problem is that when I stand at the corner of table, I can't get around fast enough to hit the the third ball. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
i love those posters at the back
Thank you very much for posting all this teaching/tips/techniques ! Your channel is surely one the best place on CZcams where to learn tabletennis properly !
By the way ,there are lot of vids explaining or teaching how to serve in a certain way but none of them explaining the next step , so after the opponent receive how should one prepare to go on with the rally and how to get in an advantage / attacking position .
So what should be done after the serve to get a point ? Why sometimes we serve in a very affective way, with lot of backspin for example, but then we don’t win the point?
It would be great if you can help me to better understand this !
Thank you any way... keep it up with these perfect lessons !
THX and that's a great suggestion. I kinda mentioned it (like for hook serve u should wait in the middle of the table for the third ball). But if I go into detail it'd be too long. This vid is mainly about serving and I'll probs dedicate another vid talking abt third ball attack.
Tomorrow Table Tennis [Non-profit] thank you for the answer ! I didn’t mean that you should have discuss these things in this vid , I just wanted suggest a new topic for a new video and ask for some help in the rally development .
Can’t wait to watch your next video ! Thank you .
Great work. Domo, Arigato.
