I know women sell a lot in these types of games but we could use a lot more characters like Yuanwu. He legit look's amazing and might try the games just to see the guy.
Tell them that during the surveys they'll make after release, Kuro listens to their playerbase, also they have some badass NPC designs, one of those dudes looks legit amazing and I would pull for a playable character that looked like that.

I disagree, It been proven many times that adding a lot of dudes to the pool. Makes it less likely for straight guys to buy. Making the company lose money just for catering to the minority of there audience. It's logical too, look at bud light for example. I'm glad you understand though, cause I won't spent money if I'm more likely to get a guy character, I rather just stay free 2 play.

@@sigewinnieee and I completely agree with you, it just makes or breaks a game if it is overused, but I feel like there are better ways to go about it tho, it's fine to boycott any game you feel it's to "fanservice-y", but we can try looking at the bigger picture: This kinds of practices have been around for years, and it has stuck around because it is a formula that works. Bayonetta, Nier and the Street fighter series come to mind. However, these games have also adapted based on constructive feedback, like how GI, HSR and ZZZ had to adjust the physics for many of its female characters, and those adjustments came from points of valid concern.
My takeaway is that given enough constructive feedback, the company will realize that they screwed up and eventually adjust their physics, but calling them names like disgusting or thirst bait for simps feels just a bit unnecessary.
Being an avid player of GI and HSR since day 1, I can hold WuWa to the same standard and expect similar improvement from their respective company

The main topic I tried to convey by using the franchise as an example was that a game can be massively successful even when appealing to the male gaze all the while being able to set common standards that respect the integrity of any female player which may be interested by toning down on the fan service aspect of the game: In this case, the overuse or lack of jiggle physics

@@mcid47 That's not the standard pull, the standard is the 2nd from the bottom only over on the standard weapon pull.
The top one is different, you can't even do single pulls there only 10 pulls. But you can choose your 5star drop.

Sadly it is rather rare for a non-otome gacha game to have more male than female characters or even an equal amount. The only one I can think of is Limbus Company that has a 50/50 ratio

judging by how we got 300mb hotfix literally each day, we can already know they are fixing things at fast rate. i really cant imagine how hectic their dev team rn tho. just give it time, kuro wont disappoint!
If you lower the graphic settings it’s actually makes everything so much smoother, and if you lower the in game brightness it actually makes the colors more vivid and helps with the frame rate issues.
I like Chixia, not only for being a gunslinger but also her design looks nice.

I pulled for the first time and got Verina, I honestly think her stat priority is health, atk, and heal boost, why attack? It's because when you switch to a character with an outro skill, they will get 40% of her atk to heal which is good if you want her to sustain and damage enemies, she also gives buffs to the character you switch so that's also good

that's one of the good thing of this game. probably, on the other hand, it has no small character, but then again i only watch my friend play, and it's still so young so who knows.

I dont want to be negative, because I want the game to succeed. But most of the girls just have a black color palette, and they kind of blend together for me 💀 I don't wanna keep comparing to Genshin, but you could randomly pick (most) characters from that game and know exactly where they're from, their element, their hobbies/interests, and their personality. They all have fun details if you look closely at their fashion.
Hope they will improve the design, tho i have little expectation for that since pgr design is always the same.
Remember the game is barely starting...if you go to Genshin and look to characters like Diluc, Jean, Kaeya etc you'll see the big difference in design when you look at Neuvillette, Arlechino.......... maybe WuWa will get better with time we just need to be a little patient

The designs for male characters in this game are really nice. Jiyan, Scar, Male Rover and Calcharo are great. The only female design I’d spend money on (also depending on her kit) is probably Yinlin. I really like her red high ponytail in contrast to her dark outfit, don’t really understand why they switched her black boots for high heels though, the boots looked better imo
Fun fact, the first male character you talk to is Mortefi, which is right before you get the wishing system during the tutorial, about 20-30 minutes in, depending on how long you choose to take.
Im going tk be bonesr, im not a big fan of tbe character desifns so far (atleast fkr what ive see, i havent been paying tk much attention to tbe game)

It's a new gen mobile game. A DNA mix of Zelda, Genshin, Nier, Honkai in anime style is gonna get us gacha. But you can get good characters without paying a cent, WuWa is actually pretty generous rn plus the MC is actually dope.

Idk what I was even expecting tbh; the end of the day it is a gacha game. Still, the 5 free chars had my hopes up that we'd at least get 3:2 women to men ratio. I am a little nervous about all but one of the free characters being DPSs, where the supports, where the sub DPS, you should be able to build a reasonable team with your starters
The women's designs are throwing me off and the game completely lacks men already...
A little disappointing the lack of male characters, I hope they make more in the future
They also give you a free standard 5 star character of your choosing which was crazy generous to practically start the game
and you'll get atleast one more 5 star few hours in cause of the free standard banner pulls

It’s pretty much standard to give away free characters in their respective elements because you can’t solve world puzzles without them.
I find it pretty consistent with their counterpart Genshin since these characters also have elemental characteristics such as lightning and glacial.
