I forgot to say 2 important things: 1. Not all quality adjectives have a short form. Those that describe a constant quality or feature, don’t have it: most of the colors, the word “большой”. 2. Not only letter combinations шн/жн will have E / O in the middle, we will add them for all adjectives that have 2 consonants at the end of their stem: близкий - близок, умный - умён, громкий - громок, резкий - резок, грустный - грустен and many others.

First of all, there is no word "дерева", the correct word is "деревья". There is no difference between these two sentences, but the second one is more common. The first form can be useful if you want to highlight some difference, for example "в моём районе деревья зелёные, а трава жёлтая".

Сначала я был немного смущен, потому что думал,в английском языке «woodeen » - прилагательное, а «wood» - существительное. короткие прилагательные женского рода немного похожи на польские прилагательные. например: dobra, stara ,zła, miła, urodziwa(это значит красивая, а не уродивая🤣) Так что могу написать: Алина,ты сегодня очень красива. я имею в виду,ты всегда красивая,но с хвостиком и в этой рубашке ты очень красива😅

Hi Alina, I just had a question about when I should use the reflexive verb or the regular verb. For example: -использовать VS использоваться -отказаться VS отказать -считать VS считаться. Although I am sort of familiar with these reflexive verbs now, I still struggle to use them properly and just memorise the necessary situations or default to the regular verb. Hi! Every time it’s different and depends on a verb. For instance, even in your examples they are not the same. Использоваться and считаться we use only in passive constructions: Этот крем используется уже долго. Эта девушка считается профессионалом. (is used/is being used, is believed, is considered). When the regular form is only used with active subjects: я использую, я считаю. And отказаться and отказать are different. Отказаться is a reflexive verb that denotes an action that a person implements for himself, in his own interests: Я отказываюсь от курения. And отказать will be the action that is directed to another person: Я отказал другу в помощи. So each case is unique and actually your way of studying them is not bad, memorization can help us a lot here.
