Tales of the Gold Monkey - Composers: Mike Post & Pete Carpenter

This was Don Bellisario’s idea of how to do Indiana Jones on TV, and in my mind, he did a great job! What Pete and I tried to do was follow an act that couldn’t be followed...ie: John Williams. One of the best lines I ever heard in a show was in the pilot - these two Nazis get surrounded by these devil monkeys who are going to kill them in this little lake. One guy says to the other, “What are we gonna do?” and the other guy, in his heavy German accent, says, “Now, we die.”
