Bear Ops make the best affordable flippers in my mind. Bladehq has a buttload of them. When i was broke i got one of those Baliyo pens, if you like pen flipping and butterfly knives, i'd check them out if you havent heard of them
I teach 6th graders and these things have become one of those trendy items at our school. Tons of kids have them. That noise drives me up the wall, BUT when kids use them right (i.e. as something to keep their fingers occupied and not just a "toy" to distract them) the difference in their level of focus is night and day.
Well it's because people like to fidget with things and spinners are silent and don't cause damage to you (eg clicking a pen or biting nails). I personally really need one because I play with my pen a lot in class and I also pick at my nails which is not heathy.

Dayz Noob I have to disagree, I really don't think these were meant for people with ADHD especially if you're gonna use these in class, it just is a mega distraction. Seriously if I had one of these I don't think I would be more focused on my work. I would most likely get even less done, it's hard enough trying to focus when there is so much happening and to add more just doesn't make sense, I feel these are just a cool toy, like a yo-yo it's just something simple and fun you can do.

If you have a medical condition example being diagnosed anxiety you may be able to get it approved of if it isn't something that's super distracting to others like loud clicks and your not misbehaving.
dude just make one. get a bearing and hot glue marbles to it. look up videos on how to make then. there are a bunch if ways to make them and you wont spend more than 5 dollars
the supplier was just lazy is did not even bother to calibrate their own 3D Printer properly. The extrusion multiplier is just wrong on that printer that is why there is a laced look.
I don't think some of these people understand. These things are not to cure fidgeting or anything like that. Some people fidget even when they are incredibly focused. I, personally, am a leg bouncer. I could be knee deep in my Pre-Cal homework, and my leg will bounce and it can often hit the floor. This makes a lot of noise and it's annoying to everyone else around me. Some of these are pretty quiet, however. It just allows you to fidget without driving everyone else around you crazy.
