I am just learning to foil. Question about stance.
These guys use a butt out, hunched stance, it looks awkward.
Is this the most efficient and/or fastest?
Or is it harness dependent?
Can anyone share a link showing a different stance.?

Did you try it? Compere to slalom or formula windsufing this is much easy....kite foiling is so smooth...
But, it looks so stupid.... like... hideously unstylish. I’ve yet to see anyone on a foil manage to look cool
It's FUNNY (.../S) how drug-addicts are looked upon negatively... YET adrenaline-seekers are looked at with admiration and encouraged to live out their daring obsession at any cost, be it at the expense of both money AND safety (bodily harm, death, for themselves or others around)
I used "seekers" facetiously, even though the terms Adrenaline Junkie and Adrenaline Addict are so commonly used but don't even carry a single shred of negative connotation in the eye of society.
But swap out adrenaline with heroin and watch the judgment and degradation and humiliation run rampant.
You'll find adrenaline junkie and heroin junkie are all too similar. Push the limit. More, more, more. This rush is not as powerful anymore. Test the boundaries. Spending lot's of money, spending tons of time, spending energy, attention, focus. Thinking of your next 'said' fix and how to get it.
The scheming and planning and effort and constant raising of the bar and testing of luck. Obsession. Enjoyment is never 'enough' and will never fully satiate your appetite.
I'm not knocking one or the other, and I have both experienced and witnessed each of the following things and it's not funny, it's not sad, it's not awesome and its not terrible ITS JUST LIFE AND HUMAN NATURE. SO STOP the DOUBLE STANDARDS and SEEK TO REMEDY AND FIX THE END RESULT.
