That depth thing just helped me so much thank you I’ve always had the problem not going deep enough and resulting in the tattoos being blotchy and faded so thank you!
There are many tattoo artists out there maybe, one better than the other. But, it's not easy to teach someone the skill and share your point of view so smooth. This shows how good of an artist / master you are. Thank you so much for this amazing video❤️🙏
Thank you so much for this video! Not a lot of people give extra tips and actually tell you what length to have the needle and what voltage to do for lining!
I’ve been a professional welder for over 10 years. It’s interesting how as a tattoo artist you position and train yourself to practice the best way possible to produce the best results. As an experienced welder we do the same.
I’ve been a welder for 14 years and I thought the same thing. I actually just put the hood down and took a desk job at a tattoo shop so I can appreciate to try to become a tattoo artist. Pay cut hurt a little but I’m happier
Not to be a creep but your voice is soothing lol but honestly I love how you expressed that it’s art and more importantly our own individual art we make the rules
Thanks for the video man. Showing real time speed and voltage helps a lot of us new guys trying to learn on our own who don't have time for an apprenticeship.
Big bro...first off, let me just say that this tutorial is straight to the point and informative 👌. You definitely have great presentation skills.... I've been in prison for about 7 years on 10 and just came home.....been doing tattoos there for years now and now that I'm out I'm trying to get used to real machines .... you know learning voltage settings for lining/shading and so on. You definitely gave me some knowledge in this video
Great video. Hes not pretending to make it look easy and explains what he's doing while he does it so you can easily follow along. His message at the very end is spot on. Don't sweat the small shit, keep practicing and grab yourself a gang of oranges. Well done man, top notch
Hey, thanks for posting this. I've been tattooed many times but it's been a couple years and I just got myself a kit to practice with. I need to know how much ink you picking up? I feel like when I was practicing I’m not picking up enough & I’m already sticking the needle back in before I finish the line
I haven't tattooed in a long time, so brushing up and watching some videos. I learnt on leather and lemons, so it is nice to see someone else using citrus fruit (not just synthetic skin) and seeing this as art not a job. Takes me back 20+ years.
Hello I am also learning tattooing, that's a good explanation! But I have a problem, every time I am practicing tattooing, the needle seems to be overloaded with ink and when I first start, it's flooded with ink.. so I don't see anything anymore 🙈 (I do wipe off the extra ink) I don't see this when other ppl do.. Do you know what I may do wrong? I don't overcome this problem...
Yes you wipe the ink away when you can't see, unless you want some deep saturation and leave the ink on the skin so the needles do the job. But keeping in mind not to overwork the skin.
Damn bro that needle is got some hang Time on it you might hit an artery with that thing lol I wonder if that orange will ever regret getting those designs
Im an apprentice, the girl teaching me told me it was because i keep the needle in the ink cup longer than needed, you only need 1-2 secs, it may be overcharged of ink, hope this helps :)
Also everytime i recharge the ink i put the needle a little on the papel towel and hit the pedal a few seconds so that drip goes there and not on the skin!
Riding the tube just means there it's easier to not go too deep or not deep enough, you won't be able to feel the tube because it won't be pressed down, the needle is moving up and down so fast, for the artist it's like drawing in the air, there is no resistance like you would get from paper, it just glides along the skin, personally I don't like riding the tube because it breaks the surface tension of the ink inside the tube and often just gloops out so much ink that I then can't see what I'm doing anymore
