I want Jon to know that people like Dax might get click bait views but I didn't even finish that podcast because I didn't connect with it(even though I LOVE TYSO) but I did finish this one because I connected with you. It doesn't matter who anyone is. Just show up as you and the people who are meant to find you will find the joy you bring. Also Rick- you do such an incredible job opening people up. I always keep my journal nearby when I watch- I learn so much about myself from TYSO.

The self-depreciating comment he made when I think Colin was like “Jon, you’re on Saturday Night Live” and he deadpans “Literally, no one knows that”… Amazing!

Rick, big fan, love your pod, loved this ep, but I think you pushed too much with Jon to divulge more than he was comfortable sharing about his past relationships. Most (if not all) of the time, when people personally ask you to divulge more about your personal relationships, you are very quick to brush them off/deflect/change the topic (understandably, because you don't want to upset former gfs of yours). Not only that, but when he expressed concern about how much he in fact did (over)share, you said its fine, but it doesn't seem like it would be fine if the roles were reversed. It seems quite hypocritical to then push Jon to divulge more about his past relationship(s), when you yourself don't wana talk about your own in as much detail as you were pushing him to talk about. You shouldn't contradict yourself by expecting your guest to share more than you are willing to share yourself about personal relationships. Hope you get where I'm coming from 👍🏻
