    Did you run 1/2 hoses from the lift pump to the engine and split off two hoses for the supply ? One to the second cp3 and the other to the ficm then out the ficm to the first cp3 and then ran two hoses for return??

      Yes that is basically what I had done besides the return lines, I had used a T fitting into the factory return and ran them both back to the single return line. I will do a video of things I’ve done to the truck when the weather clears up a bit and go into detail with what parts I have and how I installed them. Any other questions don’t hesitate to ask!

    Won't that turbo drain being in contact with the exhaust housing be an issue?

      Last of my worries lol it’s really just the worm clamp excess touching it so I’m not too pressed

    So you hit a LLY lbz kit on a lb7? I've wondered if this could be done. What all was needed exactly?

    • @SlapDi.KSpeedShop
      @SlapDi.KSpeedShop  Před 5 měsíci

      Yes I did! You need a lly passenger side intake manifold and a new intercooler boot from turbo since it is slightly larger in diameter. The kit takes care of the rest!

    How would stock intercooler pipes work

    • @SlapDi.KSpeedShop
      @SlapDi.KSpeedShop  Před měsícem

      They would work just fine

      @@SlapDi.KSpeedShop I would have to get diff boot for hot side or something to fit the charge r

    • @SlapDi.KSpeedShop
      @SlapDi.KSpeedShop  Před měsícem

      @@cody6.6max yeah the boot needs to be slightly larger diameter to go onto the turbo and with my pipes, going with the offset boot helped out tremendously. But maybe the ones from HSP weren’t bent totally correct I’m not sure but it made it a breeze going back together rather than ratchet strapping it to hold it where it needed to be

      www.smedingdiesel.com/products/04-10-duramax-s300-turbo-kit?variant=31197320478756 just remember you have to specify to them that you don’t want the face of the turbo machined so you’re able to run a boot off of it to the turbo inlet pipe. Hope this helps!

    did you ever find out what killed the 68mm?

    • @SlapDi.KSpeedShop
      @SlapDi.KSpeedShop  Před 3 měsíci

      No, I will send it off and have it rebuilt then hopefully know what caused the failure. I would like to do a give away with it or something once it’s rebuilt, hate to have it just sit on the shelf forever
