Looks like your tractor started smokeing pretty good not good for the first pull of the plow
Peanut can’t plow a straight row!😂🎉😂
We had a sandy field and we would pour a bit of diesel on the moldboard and run it through the sand and it would polish it till it pulled right easy.
Another gr8 video,.. learning a lot from you folks at Everything Attachments,.. Going to come see you when I get ready to setup my homestead.
That was a lot of smoke on that first pass
Can't stop watching you guys very informative wife and I been gardening for over 40 years have an original Trobuilt 1986 horse still Running great one of the best equipment I have ever owned 2 pulls and she fired right up God bless John K
That there is the best walk behind tiller ever made. Hang on to her
Looks like little Peanut 🥜is enjoying himself.
I think it was ploughing at its best at about 6 inch deep as all the grass sod was been rolled over and burying the green. However, the landslide was not running flat in the furrow, it was riding too high on an angle. So I think that the top link was always too short in the demo's. If that land slide was running flat in the furrow and the mould board was still turning the grass sod right over and burying the green, I would have been most impressed. Still, ploughing is about learning and yours did the job. Good stuff.
Amateurs lol I'd call it a mess 🤣
I love to watch a plow. Good job!
Hold on peanut... wait peanut... but he is already launched, unstoppable gladiator.. lol.
Painted plow shear and moldboard are hard to pull through the ground until paint wears off, best thing to do is buff the paint off before use.
Doing it in the spring the vegetation need to lay for a couple of weeks so it can go through initial decomposition heat to prevent seedling 🌱 damage. You can go ahead and disc harrow and build your beds but, harrow them down ready for planting. But, do not plant for 10 to 14 days to allow the decomposition heat to pass.
To bad I ain't there to help you adjust your plow before you run out of yard! LOL, the heel of your landslide is to be touching the ground, the landslide and top link are to be working together to get right depth, and maintain the correct depth. See time Frame 20:48 see how the heel is not down to the ground, not hitting bottom if you will. Like walking on your tip toes.
When I plow the sod falls back into the furrow and makes the next pass horrible. If I dont clean it out by hand before the next pass the front tire rides on top and makes the plow go deeper,,causing all kinds of issues on each pass to come.
I have tried different angles and different speeds. Seems I always get it figured out at the end of the job. And then forget by the time ,next year,I am doing it again.
And after plowing,,running the plowed area over with a tiller is a wild ride on my little sub compact.
What causes the Slice to Roll BACK into the Furrow? Improper speed or adjustment??? sdh in Rock Heaven ( New England )
FASCINATING! :)
I love watching tractor videos. I have the same tractor. Kubota l2501. Love working and getting hand dirty
Right on!
Interesting, there’s a right and wrong way to do everything. Nice how much difference that colter makes
Looks like a little too much pitch. For proper clearance there should be
only a fingertip's space between the
rear landside and furrow bottom
+Rdrake1413 That's correct, but we couldn't adjust the tractor lift arms to the proper setting because of the lack of tools at the location.
It did a really good job and with some more adjusting, it would be perfect!
I'd love to see the BX pulling it. Thinking of getting one and was curious to how it would pull.
+TheHondadirtbiker It's coming up soon . We'll be uploading several new videos with the B and BX in action for this new garden series. Stay Tuned!!
Here you go, sir: czcams.com/video/MSi_rSbXZdc/video.html
Why doesn't my 60+ year old attachments adjust this easily? HAHA! Love the videos!
Must be nice having your employee plow your garden 😏😂
Its for a video (on the clock) *wink wink*
In Europe they make double bottom 8" and 10" plows for subcompacts. I have never seen these offered by anyone in the US. I don't know why.
Because they won’t pull a double bottom, the newer compacts are too light
@@covid-19ispsychologicalwar10 I have an old, heavy Ford 3600 and it doesn't like a double bottom plow. Double bottom plow maybe for lighter soil but its mostly clay where I'm from.
Need to take the tilt out from front to back, and when you move over unplowed ground should have adjusted the plow just count the rounds it took to level the plow up so when you went back all you have to do is just count it off. And after the paint is gone it will take ground better. But overall the plow looks like a good one and if I needed one I would sure take a look at it before buying another one.
Do they make a 2 bottom plow?
Yeah, it takes some fine tuning to get a plow where you want it, and slick metal plows better than paint!! Check out all of our plow models here www.everythingattachments.com/3-Point-Garden-Plows-s/74.htm
@@EverythingAttachments I went to the website and I really like the look of them 2-14 bottom plow I been looking at 3 different tractor and depending on which one I end up with will determine what size plow I need. I really like that you all ship with a 1000 miles free I live in western ky. But we still have that red clay dirt, just not as red.
What I can tell your equipment look well made, I also really like that you try your best to buy your part in the USA but I do know it hard to find everything made here because over the years companies moving out
Cavitation!!!!!!
I had to Google that word,
Is that the fancy word for sucking, like that plowing job?🥴
Plow at the speed of a horses' walking speed. At one time it was thought that the ground would get burnt from plowing to fast. A superstition of years ago.
Very good.
That soil is sure pretty. Does it grow crops well? Our best soil is black.
NC red clay is actually great for growing vegetables. Prep is a crucial key. Thanks so much for watching!!
What's next, disc and then the tiller?
+Josh Rountree Yes, and the BX2670 joined them in the field today!
Why isn’t that tractor smoking ? Mine does the same thing.
I'm wondering if a layer of spray urethane on there would help the sticky face? Instead of waiting for the paint to wear off.
Anything would probably wear off quickly, but they perform the best after the paint is worn and the metal is shining!
well, maybe. I mean they use urethane on bowling alleys, though they are oiled as well. It was just a thought at something to try. I like the painted appearance more so than bare metal, even though it is a necessary evil. Just a thought, thank you for responding.
Lead babbit used to be used in bearings...
Maybe a nice thick coat of high lead paint is what your looking for bob.
Then you'll see all kinds of pretty colours...
would a two bottom plow work efficiently with my Massey Ferguson 1739E 4WD tractor.
It definitely wouldn't be out of the question depending on the ground conditions. It may pull hard in difficult soil conditions. Feel free to call us to discuss or email sales@everythingattachments.com Thanks for watching!
Would the BX25 have enough power to pull one of these?
Yes sir. It's about the same as the BX2670 tractor we use in this video: czcams.com/video/MSi_rSbXZdc/video.html
Why so much smoke on the first pass
He was working it harder than necessary because they didn't have a cutter in front of the plow to make the sod easier to move
No smoke No poke
I love the video good knowledge I have my own garden bed I don't have a big tractor or a plow I rototiller but as I'm watching this I'm having a stupid question. So if he getting a foot of depth when he makes a run and he rolls it over, does that mean he's getting roughly a foot and a half to two feet of garden bed?
#Thankyoufortheinfo #Newsubhere #ILoveit
do you have two row land shark plow
+Tappedline The Land Shark line is designed for compact tractors, which wouldn't be able to pull a two bottom plow. We do have 12 and 14 inch double bottom plows available in our EverythingAttachments line.
www.everythingattachments.com/3-Point-Garden-Plows-s/74.htm
Don't you mean draft control instead of position? Draft control- the 3pt lift automatically adjusts up or down based on the drag force of the implement to maintain the desired speed/rpm. Position control- is a fixed height that will bog the tractor down if the drag force is too high, which you would manually have to raise the 3pt lift in order to maintain speed/rpm and not bog down...
Either would be better than what the B series has, which is neither Draft or Position control.
Give Peanut a Raise .You are working him too hard. Must be Georgia Dirt ?
Uh, what a mess! Why does Peanut insist on compacting the sub-base by backing up in the furrow? Since when is 12" a full size bottom?
How wide does those single bottom plows go to? 12,14,16,18,20"s?
The largest we offer is 16". Thanks for watching and commenting!
i like that uncle rico shirt
Wow... that first pass with that plow made that tractor start smoking real bad... The last part of the video the plow was not going very deep... only about 2 to 4 inches... The gauge wheel was not even touching the ground... That plow needs to go back to the drawing board... Plows like an old Ford Plow...
Has the advertise GAUGE WHEEL ($142), proven to work on an old FORD (12") frame?
Please advise
it needs setting properly its all wrong
You have a long ways to go before you are an authority on adjusting a plow. What a line of city talk.
Thanks for watching and commenting! It really helps out our good ole country channel.
EverythingAttachment bless her heart
I was plowing Fields when I was 12 years old. Big farm equipment, but the same process, hundreds of acres.
Your plow is not adjusted anything close to correct.
Back wheel in the plow furrow.. I guess you have to. But everything looks wrong. The angles. The whole design of the plow.
Even your guide wheel... It perhaps has to be behind. Just look at a normal farm implement plow.
Its not cpvering very well you don't want to see grass when you plough
I like his name peanut wtf. Can u stop screaming to the mic.
