That is correct John, however a great many songs are also grammatically incorrect.
I think people get confused mixed up with Brittany's skirt because around the same time Avril Lavigne wore a plaid skirt
My thought on this is it's some sort of sinister social engineering. Changing what is not politically correct or something small that leads to a certain outcome.
It almost like the algorithm on CZcams rewriting and pulling down videos that break new guideline.
What if beings in the future are subtly changing our past to achieve control. An outcome that leads to a certain future.
The nintendo one is wrong, i put the game in and it doesn't play unless i push it down. My nes is used. but i have had it for 15+ years.
I'm Australian and we heard 'Melts in your Mouth and Not in your Hand' for decades before even knowing what it was ! ASK ANY AUSTRALIAN AND THEY WILL SAY THE REAL SAYING.. / now today they do say ' the chocolate' but it never used to be
I definitely remember Brittany having a plaid skirt. Who else???

100% I had a crush on her in high school when that came out.
Yes 100% I can picture that in my mind
In 1994 my husband sat down with me to work out his bucket list since he was diagnosed with cancer!
The term bucket list has been around for a pretty good while. My dad met his second wife in 2003 and she said"Lets work in my bucket list before I die." He died in 2007.
I used to have a bucket list. This term is known in Belgium and the Netherlands as well
We need to really pay attention to what is changing because all of them together will tell you a story
I'm old and kids were making our 'bucket list' when I was in high school. When the movie came out, literally *everyone* had a vague idea of what it would be about - because everyone already knew what a bucket list was.
Same. 30 years ago, my friends and I were making “buckets lists” as school assignments.
@@sarahaugsburg9428 me too!
no way. In the past appr 10 years I started hearing a clunky phrase, "bucket list." When I'd heard it enough to be sick of it, I finally asked someone what it was. "Kick the bucket" is a common phrase in use for the past 60+ years, and bucket list is based on it. You're thinking of "kick the bucket'. Bucket list started after 2001. Everone makes lists of what they want to do b4 they die, but those lists weren't called bucket lists until recently
@@mikibishop1516 hu?
I'm old, too and I don't ever remember hearing the term bucket list until the 2000's. Like so many newer terms or slang, I found it annoying.
I remember learning about interstitial space/tissue in school. Nothing new, i think it was just previously not regarded as an organ.
At this point I'm convinced that every time my ear rings history is changing.
Quite a few (Mandela Effects) that I’ve noticed that no one else seems to notice are Hooters Restaurant never had an Owl in the logo, Groundhog Day (Movie) never had Phil’s scorned girlfriend put a crazy elaborate voodoo spell on him trapping him in an endless perpetual loop (the catalyst was “you only have time for yourself, so that’s what you get… endless time”. Now, in today's movie version he just ends up in a perpetual loop with no explanation at all, not sure how a production studio would green-light a movie with no explanation of the main plot, but they did.
The other I just found today; The song ‘Lola’ from the Kinks now says “I met her in a club down in old Soho, Where you drink champagne and it tastes just like Coca-Cola, C-O-L-A, Cola.”
But I emphatically remember it as “Where you drink champagne, and it tastes just like Cherry-Cola…” When in the world would anyone ever compare champagne to Coca-Cola? Cherry-Cola, yes… but Coca-Cola?! I’d check it out before it flip-flops back to the original lyrics.
Great catches! Thanks for sharing, those are pretty interesting
Oh Wow! I wish I could've seen that version of Groundhog day! I love that movie! I've always wondered why they never gave a reason why he got stuck in that loop besides the lessons he eventually learns.
Originally, it was meant to be coca cola, but it wasn't allowed so they changed it.
There are various versions out there. I have both versions- the original one and the remastered one. One has the cherry Cola lyrics in it.
They had to change the Coca-Cola version to cherry cola. The older version is actually the coca cola one, but the one you will hear now is the cherry cola most of the time
The Jackie Robinson hug is iconic because it's everything that an actual Mandela effect is supposed to be- a just slightly different choice was made ,changes the course of history in a huge way, and the fact that so many people remember it proves that they're truly are different timelines for whatever reason. Great work on finding this on🙌
My thoughts exactly. The true meaning of a Mandela effect. A slightly different choice made that slightly alters the timeline. Perfect example.
Right?? I remember being told this story when I was a kid by a WW2 vet. Crazy

Thanks, I love it too!
I spent Halloween of 2001 in Salem, Massachusetts. I was dressed as Brittney Spears from that video and wore a gray plaid skirt almost exactly like hers. I was so excited I had found one that was so similar from a local store. I want to say Banana Republic, but I could be wrong. Regardless, her skirt was plaid. The black doesn't even look right!
2002- A Walk to Remember…. Jamie told Landon about her “bucket list” after he asked her why she read so much- it was the whole basis of all the dates he took her on.
She called it a “to do” list
czcams.com/video/KA_sD3xMnwE/video.html
Nope. I thought maybe you finally found proof but I looked up a text of the entire script of the movie and did a search for the word bucket and it’s nowhere to be found.
I've never heard of the Britney Spears one, but I absolutely remember her wearing a plaid skirt. That's eerie...
It looks like somebody colored the skirting to make it look black I think people doing this bullshit on purpose the Mandela effect is a bunch of bullshit now if we see that Trump is actually a black man and Obama is a white man then I’ll say OK that Mandela fact is real
Black.. that's news to me. It was ALWAYS PLAID. even brit remembers. CRAZY
When he asked I blurted out its plaid
It's because it fits better with her outfit. Most of these are just like one, since something makes sense, people assume it happened.

My wife's favorite drink used to be hpnotiq. I've always remembered it being sparkly cuz I used to drink it with her. We stopped buying it because we thought they started making it differently with a different taste. We've never considered it to be the same hpnotiq we drank years ago.
The additive that made it glitter was probably unsafe for human consumption and was temporarily overlooked by the FDA.
People's tastes have been known to change with time.
@@MrPAULONEAL that's true too but it not only taste different. It looks different too.
I’ve drank hypnotiq before back in 2011-2012 I don’t remember it being sparkly, but I do remember the gimmick was it came with glow in the dark sticks that you crack and put in the drink to make it appear as if we’re “glowing”
Mandela effects are not just mass-memory alterations
They can happen with personal memory
I have lived in the same apartment for years, entering the front door thousands of times, opening a lock/handle with a key
One day I came home and the front door lock/handle was at least 10cm lower than where I remember it
The ceiling also seemed to be lower
It's like the whole corridor had shrunk
Maybe you grew 10cm overnight? Haha jk
I also have many moments like this as well.

I drive a Hyundai Accent which fits me perfectly and I love driving it. Comfort, roomy and just a lovely smooth ride (I'm 5' 7"). I never change the settings of anything in my car because I'm the only one who drives it. Some days I get in the driver's seat and I feel like I'm sitting higher in the seat than normal. Then I'll get in another time and feel like I'm sitting normally in the seat instead of feeling I'm taller and sitting higher. Weird.
Size of objects and heights can feel way different based on dilation of eyes. Maybe the lighting or overcast was different that day. You ever get a new glasses prescription? When I do I feel extra tall for a few days. I've heard of people feeling short for awhile. Just throwing ideas out there. I believe in the Mandela effect but I always look for logical explanations.
you may want to go get a catscan
The hypnotiq one really blows my mind. The only reason I first tried that drink was because of the shimmer in it. No way it never had it.
Did you try it in a club where there's all kinds of colorful flashing lights around, shining through the drink?
You spelt hpnotiq wrong
@Swayy I spelled it the correct way lol
@@3dmaster205 no. I bought it at the package store and drank it at home. I've never even been to a club.
I used to steal this drink from my father's fridge it had the y in it. No doubt
Only 1 in a hundred thousand people who saw the video said you were wrong......that by it self is truely astounding. The fact that sooo many (well over 99.9%) of those who saw it remember the sparkle speaks volumes. I remember it because my buddy picked up a bottle off the shelf and shook it then said it would be like drinking a snow globe made of Smurf blood and glitter.

CERN is the reason
The force of magnetism and the flow of time are linked
@@squizzo5809 it's my own theory, CERN and things like it, mainly other sources of super connectivity, can and do effect the very nature of time. Shit even high voltage arch welders have issues with disappearing objects. Fuck you little buddy... You know where I got my idea from? A video CERN posted years back, guy holding a sign basically spells it all out for you... I've prolly been studying this shit, longer than you've been alive. Fuck you very much
CERN is a super conductor particle collider, it's responsible for the higgs boson and many other discoveries, related to particle physics etc... It's also where time is knotted. Time is also part perception, as it turns out Dr Hoffman and his team have recently concluded, reality is consciousness driven... Let that sink in... You can find Dr Hoffman on a few recent podcast and also a few Ted talks. Also d-wave computer systems which are quantum computer systems literally tunnel through Time, you can simply watch a Ted talk from 8 years ago to learn that. Time is an Ocean, my guy. Fuck what you think you know
I lean toward this as the most likely explanation. The first Mandela Effects started happening roughly around the same time CERN first fired up the LHC. Needless to say, I was not surprised

The Tool album, "Aenima". When it came out in 1996, I had just started my senior year. It had been out for several weeks, and my friends and I were over the MOON over how incredible the album was!
Track 9 on the album was a song that repeated the number "11" lyrically multiple times throughout the song. We ALL not just thought the song was called Eleven, but spelled a VERY SPECIFIC WAY : "e11even".
Then one day a couple few months later, I notice something: the song is called "jimmy". Plain as day in the CD liner notes. With that specific lower case "j" where a lower case "e" should have gone as well. Again, very specific spelling.
I was blown away! I could have swore UP AND DOWN that was the title! So, next day, I take the CD to school. At lunch, I whip it out and decide to put it to the test...
I ask them, "Do you know that song on the new Aenima album where Maynard keeps singing 11 multiple times throughout the song"? They're all in aggreance, "Yeah, you mean "11", right?" I say, "How was it spelled, do you remember"?? They said, "Of course, e11even" !!
I said, "Take a look again"....🤯🤯🤯 Surprise, it's called "jimmy", a word he doesnt even utter ONCE during the entire song!! Now THEY'RE ALL BLOWN AWAY!! Everyone of my friends thought not only was it called 11, but specifically spelled "e11even". Lower case "e", two 1's. Truth!!
What made even odder was the fact this "new title" took on a similar structure using the lower case "j".
It was a Mandela effect experience long before I even had a CLUE what a "Mandela Effect" was!!
You got to be kidding me. I graduated in 96 and and I purchased the CD when I was in Naval Aircrewman Candidate school in Pensacola FL. From what i remember The name of the song is e11even not jimmy.. I still have the CD case just have to find it. "High and wide awake and heading home" is my favorite verse from that song which is my favorite track on that album.
I tried to find that song the other day and nowhere on my playlist could I find it it’s because it’s call Jimmy now!!!! i’m crying 😱
Isn't it interesting in TV shows and movies CERN is shown to be a time machine? I mean watch 12 monkeys.. tell me that isn't CERN. In legends of tomorrow they race around fixing things they changed with time travel so no one will notice reducing it to be rather small. I have wondered for some time if that's what's happening.
Btw they're all Freemasons.
Maybe different realities are merging together. Who knows...
Follow technology and us one hundred years into the future... Imagine the technology that comes from programmable matter... If this keeps increasing exponentially time travel is absolutely a thing. Time doesn't even exist...
So anybody else wondering if that's what this is?

Ive known word bucket list before the movie because it was interesting to me they used this term to create a movie
I have a personal one. I remember as a kid going to an elementary school my mom says doesn’t exist.
The classrooms were sectioned off by partitions. Everyday we had to put our heads down and rest before recess. We got grape popsicles with two sticks and a plain white wrapper. The playground had a swing and a see saw. There was a chain link fence and the ground was dirt and sand. The school was up on a hill. I remember it. My mom said maybe I was remembering pre school and that’s fair but I remember everything in such detail. Preschool would be too early to have such vivid memories.
I’m 70 years old and have been using the term bucket list for many many years. So when I heard that the movie was coming out I obviously knew exactly what it was about before I went to see it.
I love your channel because you talk about new things or changes to old things. And you don't repeat all the more commonly known Mandela effects.
Thank you, I appreciate that. I'm constantly looking for new and exciting things to talk about. I'm glad you're enjoying it!
One thing I have been noticing is a feeling… like feelings I felt in the past when I was younger. Specifically the 80’s. Like a dejavu type feeling. In my stomach. And feelings that go back even further before I was born, and feelings before anyone was here. Its very strange. Things are definitely happening with time…
I kind of know what your talking about, but it was a bit different for me, I was born in 2008, and for me, I noticed some weird shift in the world around 2016, everything feels off, like even the air just feels off, it definitely feels like something has changed, and it wasn't till after that then when I noticed changes, things seemed off, the way the world moved seemed odd, to me it just feels like there was a huge shift. And I kind of fell like something similar happened in 2012, specifically after hostess went out of business, but because I was so young, I don't remember that as much, but everything just feels so, different now.
I’m SO GLAD you are speaking about this- I’m experiencing *exactly* the same thing re feelings, it’s like my 14 year old self is re-emerging in my body, that what I ‘remember’ from then is somehow more ‘real’ than whatever is happening now. It’s been getting stronger this past 6 weeks but has actually been building for the past year or so, incrementally- I’m glad that at least one other person is feeling it.
@@Ninsidhe there are others!!! These feelings for me have been going back to beginning times or ancient times. It’s very hard to explain. I thought it was just me getting older but I don’t think so. It’s been very strong ever since they started that collider at cern. Like its condensing timelines or something…
@@thirtina1 For me it feels like I’ve returned to the point in time where I hit the wrong ‘fork in the road’- the time where instead of being able to stay in my own truth and path I was hit by the trauma I’d accumulated up to that point and-through the constant blather regarding ‘you need to be part of the community’ and ‘you need to form relationships’- got dragged into the utterly painful mire of the matrix for the next 40 or so years, losing that connection to my own inner knowing and then finding my way back to it.
I was one of those ‘weird kids’- you know, could hear, see, feel and communicate with things that weren’t there, was ‘psychic’ in so many ways, was on a very different path from everyone else, woke up screaming from nightmares of being burned at the stake or genetic experiments from long ago that caused the myths of ‘human-animal hybrids’-but the most important part was that I never questioned these things about myself, it was part of the internal landscape I knew as ‘the real’ world; then came high school and individuals from every direction putting *enormous* pressure on me to conform, to ‘make friends’, ‘why are you so *weird*?’- this in combination with the severe abuse I’d been experiencing all my life at home (6 months out of every year spent in hospital as a result of it for the first 11 or so years of my life), my giftedness, my (then undiagnosed) autism, high sensitivity and the grief of *many lives* I could remember segued me off my own path and into the grip of the programs.
I’ve been making my way out of that in the past decade, but it’s become truly increased in the past few years and it’s returned me to that time in my life when I forked off my path- now I have the feelings of freedom and power that I had before the fork, the sense of connection to myself in a really pure, simple way but with all the *knowing* I have now about how the programs and deceptions work, so I’m there without the inner fault lines that got me trapped before.
The ‘ancient’ as you speak of it was familiar to me as a kid and over the decades of having my life force drained by the matrix I came to lose that connection to my earlier knowing, but it’s steadily returning to me now- I’ve chosen to live differently (out of cities, in nature, away from the masses and the wireless pollution of built up areas), I eat differently (I spontaneously became vegan overnight around the time a decade or so ago that this re-awakening process really kicked in), I live a life that intentionally seeks to expand these feelings and reconnect to that ‘knowing’ I have on a cellular level. I’ve been watching the time lines condensing for decades, long before the ‘Mandela effect’ even had a name- as a kid I’d been aware that it was going to happen and when quantumspeak became more widely known it was a relief for me to be able to have a ‘scientific’ backing for the things I’d been telling the adult world since I could talk (one of the first things I told my mother when I started to speak, in full sentences, as a 14 month old was that I ‘wasn’t human and didn’t come from here’, which in hindsight was not the best thing to tell a then fundamentalist born again…. )
*bows, laughing* Sorry for the life story! I really do need to get my YT channel up and running so that I can talk about these things without yapping the (possibly pointed) ears off friendly comment responders… the time when all the ‘Others’ find each other (or at least wave in the distance) is increasingly here. :) Or so I’m hoping.

Absolutely love how you picked a terribly sad looking Boots to display while you were discussing his Mandela effect, as if he were truly let down by this discovery. Epic.
Bucket list was definitely in existence prior to the movie. My mother passed in 2005 and we spoke about bucket list things she was never going to get to do. We spoke about it often on the drive to my gigs, the things that would go on our bucket list. We referred to it as that too. I’m from Scotland and many of us wrote a bucket list way before the movie.
This. Yes. 1000000%
The movie didn't get its name from out of the blue; it was named after the existing idea. I remember using the phrase in the late 90s
Do you actually remember saying bucket? Or was it a bucket list only after you heard the term bucket list?
When I graduated grade 8 in 2000, we had to make a bucket list for the eighth grade yearbooks. I still have all my yearbooks, and the lists are all there.
@@jasonrhodes9683 It was called a bucket list because it was things to do before you "kicked the bucket". The movie just popularized a term that was already used by a smaller number of people.
Fun fact about M&M: there is a German version of it that is an exact translation of the English version. And it is the exact translation of "Melts in your mouth, not in your hand." No word about milk chocolate. So why would the company make such a change when a translation would suffice?
With the cat in the piano I did not notice the Redbox until you mentioned it so that's probably it
The interstitium thing is more of a reclassification of tissue we already knew was there than a new organ just popped up overnight
It’s the same with the Mesentary, it just got reclassified as an organ which in itself was confusing, because you’d think after doctors operating on millions of stabbings/gunshot wounds/caesarean sections, you’d think they knew already.
@@markmiller6402 but arguably they still knew it existed but it just wasn’t classified as an organ but as bodily tissue
@@geekgirl616 exactly, weird though
If reality really is being rewritten, what does that say about the enigma of the human brain that the changes cannot effect how memory is stored within us? Does it suggest that the intangible part of our existence is separate from tangible reality?
My favorite mandella effect is that Ed McMahon apparently never went to anyone house with a check from publishers clearing house.
When that movie came out, I definitely remember asking “wtf is a bucket list?”
I'll be 70 in March and the bucket list has been a phrase that's been around all my life. I didn't see that movie and I wouldn't know what that phrase meant if not
The hypnotic drink segment is really a trippy one. How could you ever go down that rabbit hole of proving to us that you did indeed talk about the sparkles??... for what it's worth, I believe you.
I love your videos man. They make me realize things aren't what they used to be. Something is up. 🤔
I’ve drank hypnotiq before back in 2011-2012 I don’t remember it being sparkly, but I do remember the gimmick was it came with glow in the dark sticks that you crack and put in the drink to make it appear as if we’re “glowing”
I know the phrase bucket list was around before 2007 because I graduated high school in 2004 and I remember my mom using that phrase when I was in the 6th grade lol
The bucket list is crazy, because my mom said that all the time. She died in 1990.
Well done on the video! I believe though, that the NES manual told you to push the cartridge down in order to lock the cartridge into place. Not to actually make the game work, but as to safeguard it from jarring movements. My River City Ransom would not work pushed down and had to be pushed in more on the left side than the right 😅 long live that game
Interesting. I remember thinking a while back 'why is everyone suddenly referring to things as a bucket list. I'd never heard it before. When you asked the date, I guessed 2010, so I was close. So my memory has clearly been updated correctly 😀
As for the bucket list, it’s familiar because before the movie came out people said “he/she kicked the bucket” a term for someone dying, so the bucket list is relatable to the older saying.
As for Britney wearing a red and black checkered plaid skirt, I clearly remember that…..
I don't remember hearing it before the movie. But, I grew up in very south Texas, and simply might not have heard it.
@@leowic I grew up in Alabama, am now 50yo, and we definitely have used the saying all my life
Bucket list has existed forever.
Sure that wasn't the devil on South Park?
Ty I knew red was in it
The craziest and scariest part of the Mandela effe t is when you KNOW you remember the old version of whatever it is, just like so many others do yet nobody can find a single piece of proof other than memories that show it was different before! So that tells me that somehow we jump time lines for there to be ZERO proof!
That is ok, Mandy, it is cancel culture. They think that just because it can't be found means it didn't exist. Our youth was there, it happened pretty much how we remember it and nobody can take it away from us. I don't have my little paper back shot record book my mother finally gave me but I do have my birth certificate. Doesn't mean my shots didn't happen.
Witnesses to crimes have trouble recalling details accurately mere minutes after the event and you think it's weird you don't remember stuff from years ago? You can easily find tests for this where they'll have you watch a video then ask you obvious questions about it, that you'll undoubtedly get wrong.
The Bucket List one seems believable when I think about it. When I first heard it, it sounded like an older term I just wasn't familiar with, but that mid-2000's time period does feel like when I first remember people using it a bunch.
I remember both M&M slogans and just assumed it was an evolution of the way they were marketed - at some point almost all chocolates (especially Cadburys here in the UK) seemed to push the 'milk' aspect in an attempt to seem more wholesome and healthy. I date this change back to the late 90s/early 00s.
In my timeline they were called 'minstrels, they melt in your mouth not in your hand' definitely not m&m's
@@solcutter7886 minstrels are still a thing here in the UK but they've always been a 'second division' sweet and I don't think I've ever seen an actual TV commercial for them (although I haven't watched network TV in well over a decade)
For the M&M I remember both. Originally, about 25 years ago, it was " The Milk Chocolate Melts" ... before it was changed to the new version. As you know companies change their slogans over the years. SO IN THIS CASE BOTH VERSIONS ARE CORRECT.
I now believe that we will experience more and more Mandela effects until we reach the point where the two universes intertwined. Theory
Hope you’re right! It’s so fascinating
You are definitely out there..........
Mandela Effect is exactly what it is ... misremembering things, that's all. Don't forget that for every person that says "Kit Kat" used to have a hyphen (it didn't), there may be numerous others who would say it didn't. The difference is that latter tend to not even mention it, leaving the paranoid ranting to the conspiracy theorists.
Seems like two (or more) realities intertwined already
We might switched places with this dimension us,and they are in our timeline, I think we slightly shifting trough possible/ changing timelines
I never heard of the term "Bucket List" till I saw the movie. Once the movie came out, "Bucket List" became a household slogan immediately. I think that's why we feel it has been around so long because when the movie introduced it back in the 2,000's it caught on like wildfire.
man the hypnotic part of the video gave me a trip and yet that drink never even existed in my pas before this video
Yessss 👏👏👏 we’re here for it!!!
Happy to have ya Melissa!
Several weeks ago I actually heard, with my own two ears, Darth Vader says, "Luke, I am your father," not, "No, I am your father." I heard it with "Luke" as the first word back in 1977, when the movie first came out. A friend had it on one of his recordings, being said by a commercial in the background in the room where he was recording with his own equipment. This Mandela Effect is truly weird. Many say this occurred in 2012, when CERN first came online. Hmm.
not to mention there is probably some changing going on when they release a new DVD of the same movies and don't forget they film hundreds of hours of scenes and then splice them together. It is no surprise that they have some scenes that weren't the same across all the versions. Like the directors cut or the extended version.
Interesting

I found this on google for the M&M’s slogan :
What was the original M&M slogan?
Together, they named the now famous candy m&m for Mars and Murie. They started selling these candies to the military to be given to soldiers with their MRE's. They made the slogan, “melt in your mouth, not in your hands” along with several other commercials to promote the candy.Jun 14, 2018
I will leave a mandella effect for you. I was born on 1979 in argentina, so in school (ages 8+) we start studying the world map and continents. Me and my sister at least we remember there was a north pole as big as antarctica always showing up. Today, that polar cask does not exist anymore. Maybe it can be confused or taken its place by Alaska and greenland? I was the typical nerd and had a vast library at home which i was very adept to reading every day (even today i still love learning new things daily) so i had multiple encyclopedias and it always drove my attention that both poles were covered in ice. Also, if you check upon comic books, Superman's fortress of solitude was in there, and also santa claus's home. But it never said ALASKA or GL!!! always north pole...
I remember tan colored m&ms. All those older than me at work said they never existed
I have a distinct memory of white m&ms, I liked them they had a grey m

I remember brown and tan or (lighter brown) ones. I'm in my 50s

The bucket list…I remember talking about our bucket lists with my roommates from college and that was in 1992
The confusion is that in subsequent interviews Mark Hamill referred to being in the trash compactor scene when they were filming. This can be seen in the empire of dreams documentary. There is a snippet where Mark Hamill remarks about how they've been in the trash compactor all morning long and the cast we're trying to stave off boredom. The Mandela effect is nothing more than our minds of which we have very little control of, taking bits and pieces from various sources and mashing them together. The same can be said for jif peanut butter and jiffy pop popcorn. Everyone swears that it was called jiffy peanut butter...not so.
You deserve it! You also have a beautiful voice!
