    Sergio Perez’s resistance in the midst of recent news about his Red Bull future is admirable but does not match reality - at least at the moment - given another qualifying and race setback at the British Grand Prix. This in a weekend where it was leaked that Perez is now below his performance clauses and only has until Spa to save his seat.

      Liam doesn’t have nearly the experience that yuki or Daniel does. Putting him in the rb instead of the vCard could ruin his career. He needs to build experience in the slower car first. That’s at least my opinion

      Max is more than complicated, he doesn't handle competition well and turns into a petulant child when pushed. Perez was there to pickup extra points whenever he looked threatening, Max would spit the dummy and cause much tension in the garage and Horner would have to put his Child Care worker's hat on. Ricciardo's personality works in the Red Bull garage he can push Max and deal with his 4yr old dummy spits. Put Ricciardo in the better car and a target on the back of Max's car and Ricciardo will not disappoint...except maybe Max 😉

    A bit of a hot take, but I think Tsunoda is a better replacement than Ricciardo. Though in the midfield car, he has shown a level of consistency this season which leads me to believe he'd definitely do better in the faster RB.

      Definitely not a hot take. At the halfway point in the season Yuki's much more cost effective per point that Danny Ric at $50k vs $318k. Yuki is a bargain compared to the badger.

    Max can win the championship all by himself.
    Unfortunately the Constructor requires a constant win with BOTH drivers. Despite Mercedes, Ferrari and McLaren not taking as many podiums as Max, constantly coming in 2 and 3 for those teams would be enough to snatch the Constructors from Red Bull if Checo keeps coming in at 8-10th place.

    This is why I disagree when pundits say that the F1 grids are the Worlds best drivers. They're not. There are only 3 or 4 World Class race car drivers on the roster. Don't get me wrong, the rest of the grid are talented. But not the best in the World.

    Between Checo and Danny Prick? I'd still go with Checo. The lesser of two evils and if the Horndog pulls the trigger and bins Checo and Ricciardo botches it up even worse?! Remember that Dr. Helmet Palpatine and Jos Vader are always lurkng in the shadows, waiting to pounce and screwing this up could be a career-ender for the Horndog if he gets it wrong. Liam Lawson really is the safest bet since it's clear they've got it in for poor, unloved and very much unappreciated, Yuki. Go figure!

    Yeah, he underperformed but was it his call to be on inters 5 min too early so when the rain did arrive they were shredded and almost slicks. In my opinion Checo would be better off with any other team. RB is build for Max and the team is only focused on Max. They will soon realise their mistake of letting Newey go. The signs are already appearing.

  • @Birdman953
    @Birdman953 Před 12 dny +1

    Perez has basically disintegrated over the past few months. He is not even trying, in fact he has become an embarrassment to RedBull. Max is now battling all the top teams trying to repel boarders from taking his and the team’s lead in the championship. Riccardo is also a has-been. He too will never get back his racing edge. This is quite clear and evident in his underwhelming performance at RB2. Liam Lawson will be hungry to show his ability. For the myriads of RB fans, stop fkng around at RB. You have had too much negative press this season. This is slowly but surely filtering down into the pit crew who now does a 6 second wheel change! Also, Joss Verstappen does not own the team. He is a negative influence trying to bask in his son’s limelight causing a rift in the entire setup. Trying to placate his whims is counter productive! Make an executive decision and tell him to stfu or take himself and his son and join some other team that will put up with his crp!

    • @Mr-Clark
      @Mr-Clark Před 12 dny +2

      Joss needs to stfu and stop trying to wreck his son's career out of jealousy.
      I wouldn't want Ricciardo. RB should go after Sainz after dumping Checo.
      Checo is not the same anymore. He lost his short lived tenacity.
