What's up, Loners! In this video, we listen to one of our favorite channels roast stupid advice from Tiktokers haha. It was definitely a funny episode to react to and we hope you enjoy it! If you do, please make sure to like and subscribe. Thank you all! :) - Zábava
tbh, Janek isn't rly mad. He is just dying from laughter internally. Because the stuff you'll find on tiktok about Prague is sometimes super stupid. And as Prague citizen, I can say that Janek is right in all that.
I completely empathise with him, because being Irish, I'm completely fed up of people referring to Ireland using ridiculous stereotypes of Irish people and our country. It would be so refreshing if people would actually research Ireland and Irish people before making stupid and offensive statements.
Not to mention all the people who have never been to Ireland, have no intention of visiting, but claim to be Irish.
Same. Being from Germany, everything is about the Autobahn, beer, sausages, Sauerkraut, Bavaria and Nazis. 99.9% of what you generally hear about Germany is actually just Bavaria - because that's all US Americans know about and think it's the whole of Germany.
When you're lucky you will have someone talk about bread, but even that is rare.
No sugarcoating from Janek 😂 I find his open frustration pretty normal tbh, as we are close, brotherly nations. But Czechs have a special kind of humor, very sarcastic and dark. Love it. Greetings to you two, funny reaction! 💙
No, Bryan, he doesn't "have a vengeance against TikTok", he's just - rightly - pissed at hearing so much stupidity being said by morons about his own city.
And he does it with humor too!
i think his anger stacked up after seeing too many tiktok videos about Prague :D
Tiktok wasn't on my phone for very long before I uninstalled it!
Yes, TikTok was on my phone when I bought it, I immediately removed it.
Janek (Honest Guide) runs literally one of the best channels worldwide that gives advice to travelers who want to prepare thoroughly for a visit to a place that has a very specific culture. He is also a professional journalist who is used to researching and investigating. I can thoroughly recommend preparing your visit to Prague by binge watching his channel.
Sadly, Prague is full of people who wouldn’t bother to learn even to say “diky” (“thanks” in Czech) to pay respect to the locals, and Prague Old Town can rival Venice as a destination for density of foreigners setting up commercial ventures to rip off other foreigners who are less clever than them. Just like Venice, it’s still way too beautiful to be entirely spoiled for the more astute visitor, but you definitely get to hate the folks who go there because they really believe that beer is cheaper than water.
Before social media, experts were hard to find. Turns out there are millions of them.
I feel the same aggravation when I see tik toks about vienna, all the tourist traps, all that well trodden paths, wish I could make a video like this, but it will be not so polite and therefor banned on You Tube 😁
I lived in Vienna for ten years and loved it. It would take some long videos to do it justice. All the best from Scotland.
Imagine our frustration about the hidden gems of Budapest and literally shows Hero's square or Fishermens Bastion. 😱
I went to Vienna this summer, I loved it, but I also went to a lot of the museums and tried to stay away from tourist trap locations, like Kutschkermarkt. One thing I did do, which no tik toker probably would dare to do, is I went to the FKK beaches.
Pushing 40 and speaking Deutsch also helped my travel experience.
I guess Tik-Tok really helps turning the world faster into Idiocracy.
Janek's channel has as one of it's main topics catching scammers. Looks like this is sort of in that category. Problem is TT is full of scammers.
You are by far the best US couple. No offence; but one of you will no doubt say something stupid. The difference between you guys and literally everyone else, is that you both hold each other into account and you both come up with a logical solution. I adore you guys in every way tbh
He is just pissed off about some idiots spreading false information about Prague.
This reminds me of a funny video by a pilot youtuber who roasts plane/airline related Tik Tok's filled with misinformation and yet somehow have millions of views.
Was it Kelsey from 74 Gear? He's a legend.
@@frufruJ it was indeed
This stream even started with a yawn get in.🤣😅
In Glasgow Scotland any tap anywhere with cold water is just as good if not better than bottled water , Probably thee best tap water in the world
Completely in agreement with him, the same happens with my city, Florence in Italy, a tourist destination, they publish shocking videos with incredible errors, it is clear that these are only used to make visualizations, and not to help by providing useful information
When I hear that "beer is cheaper than water", the first thing that comes to mind is that it's the water that's overpriced, not the beer that's cheap.
Do you know why those things and places are called "traps"? Because traps are used to catch those (be them animals or humans) who are not smart.
every normal and sane person hates tik tok, so his attitude towards it is very much understood
Lesson : TIK TOK / Instagram is for people who have barely advanced mentally since aged 5.
Do some serious research and do not be so naive, ignorant or lazy.
I agree with you on TikTok but not Instagram, I removed TikTok from my phone when I bought it but Instagram does serve a purpose if used sensibly. 😊
It would never occur to me to use tik tok as a resource for research??? It's Tik Tok for crying out loud!
What a start on the video, yawning of tiredness...
Saying "beer is cheaper than water" is that telling you beer is cheap or water is expensive?
It's like saying chocolate is cheaper than chicken, how useful is that one?
trdelnik=chimney cake=kürtös kalács a hungarian pastry, the Czechs want to own it, but they have nothing to do with it
the Chain bridge is in Budapest :D
I think Janek is making it pretty clear that it’s not the Czech who want to own it, but the Romanians who want to sell it to the tourists, and they do it in Prague, because Prague actually is a mass tourism destination, while Romania is barely on the map of international tourism.
@@robertracz6133made by Székely ppl whom are Hungarian ethnic group.
Nobody in Czechia wants to own trdelník, nobody even eats it here. But it is mainly know from Prague so turist thinks it is ours.
And watch out for Slovakia, some of them wants trdelník to be from them.
how’s life?- total to pupload~🙂
