The real storyline in Rick and Morty, funny enough, may be just beginning. Rick and Morty S7 has touched on the multiverse several times and has now reintroduced both Rick Prime and Morty Smith, er, “Evil Morty” that is as the central finite curve concept comes back into play. Seeing Rick quietly realize his quest for revenge is done is a perfect example of how revenge is a pointless endeavor and doesn’t leave you with a sense of fulfillment. It leaves you with a sense of emptiness
Nemesis implies that someone cares about you enough to hate you and hurt you . Evil Morty could'nt care less about Rick c137 or any Rick. He just want to be left alone as long as Ricks don't bother or endanger him he doesn't care and will not go out of his way to go after Ricks
Evil Morty WILL use the omega device to kill off a major character. It’s now this show’s Chekhov's Gun, they wouldn’t have introduced it if it wasn’t going to be used again. The writers will find a way to create conflict between them. Rick Prime may be Rick's arch nemesis, but that doesn't mean he's the antagonist. This story is about the relationship between Rick and Morty, hence the title, and Evil Morty as a character represents the relationship's dysfunction. Plus, Rick Prime wasn't properly introduced to the audience until season 6. Evil Morty has been around since season 1. Evil Morty has always been THE villain of the show.

It's crazy how when rick prime came to offer our rick the portal gun you can tell he wanted to team up with rick much like how evil morty offered our morty to come along through his portal or not then he came back for morty to come along. I'm glad that Rick got to have his brutal revenge rather than a lame "Be the better person" outcome at the last minute that involves a nonsensical flashback of his loved ones who were murdered by his target or being abandoned by his family at the end for taking his revenge

Yeah, I'm glad for that too. Rick brutally beating Prime to death was easily one of the best scenes from the show. The voice acting made it even better.

Evil Morty isn't Rick C-137's true nemesis. Do you know why? Because they aren't enemy. Rick Prime killed Rick C-137's wife so C-137 wanted to kill him. But why C-137 would want kill Evil Morty? Evil Morty didn't kill anyone who is important for Rick, didn't try haunt Rick and even helped him to kill Rick Prime. There is completly no connection between them both.

Rick's real Nemesis is and always himself. He blames himself for what happened to his Wife, he didnt kill Rick Prime by himself like he wanted. He didnt even find Rick Prime on his own. Had Evil Morty not helped Rick, he would have died. Evil Morty stole his goal. He took his only purpose from him. And he has nobody but himself to blame. He let Rick Prime beat him. He let Evil Morty outmatch both of them. And in the end, he lost everything.
