- Dan Harmon sat down with The Hollywood Reporter to answer rapid fire questions all about 'Rick and Morty'. He revealed which Rick is the Rickest Rick, how long he thinks 'Rick and Morty' should run, his favorite episode, the characters he'd most want to hang out with in real life and more. Plus, he gave fans an update on the 'Rick and Morty' movie that just might include Zack Snyder. The new season of 'Rick and Morty' premieres on Adult Swim Oct. 15.

He didn't create the show, Justin Roiland made the mistake of letting him help and he took it over. That's why everything after season two is garbage.

That wasn't a mistake, our Morty is from C137, and we start the show in that universe but our Rick isn't from there. There's been theories for a while about it but it was confirmed in the last episode of season 5 along with his backstory.
So "our" Rick is C173 then? That's the first time we've got that confirmed, right?
I think he said that mistakenly. The rick we follow is Rick C 137. Morty is Morty Prime because his actual Rick is Rick Prime.
