- All new special raid missions, this is the "Emergency Air Strike" one, solely with airplanes to shoot. As you can see, the game lags quite a bit during this mission, possibly to the large number of enemies. It was quite fun, actually.
8 enemy planes just shot down dozens of our allies.
Better send a bomber squadron through the same area.

Not even the battle between the Erusian Air Forces and the ISAF Air Forces over the Comona Islands were this big... Looks like Ace Combat took air superiority to the next level.

FlaminEon Betrayal is still not as big even with x4 multiplied since there are only 2 GR planes in that mission (Nemo and Keith), this mission remind me of first Russian-side mission in HAWX.

Damn, they took the most iconic mission from the PS2 titles, and made it even more epic! I love how there's missile contrails and smoke clouds all over the sky, and oil and shrapnel spraying over your cockpit canopy if you shoot an aircraft down at close range, not to mention the sounds the jets make when they zip by you. Can't wait to reach this mission in single player mode, I just need to get some better planes so I can beat Avalon. Currently stuck on Avalon
I know this wasn't on single player mode but at that point i had yet to reach that mission on single player mode

I just realized that this is the ace combat version of the mission cold war
Not to mention the jets actually trail smoke and flames when they're damaged. And they break apart in mid-air when they're destroyed
How I would love to live another mission 8 shattered skies from ace combat 4 on a scale like this, maybe even greater. But without that dfm and gfm bs that assault horizon had.
That jet looks awesome!!! But I once was playing with a black steath jet & it... was... amazing! I want both of em!
Man this look so funny I really hope AC8 make something like ACI it would be so much fun than any other AC game before (hopefully)
