I’ve had my Ibanez Q54 a week and I’m blown away.
I totally agree! My Strandberg's are my go to guitars for sure!
Great video! Another cool thing about them: the zero fret. Open strings more closely approximating the sound of a fretted note. Gives a bit more utility. I think some headstock guitars also have a zero fret, but it's definitely more rare in that case.
Hey Bud I never thought I would play a headless guitar I got sent a EART GW2 Lefty Headless Guitar And As I Started I Couldn't Believe It Light Weight Great Playability Response Is Amazing Your Accuracy Gets Better After playing 24 years I just thought odd but got it now I don't believe I can quit playing it Love It Dearly when at first I thought I would have been uncomfortable not at all it was a free Review guitar but now I am a customer for life and the point of live is right it's awesome completely perfect for everything you do guitar💯🔥
Love watching your videos
Headless guitars stay in tune like a miracle. Ive gone over a month of playing without tuning it once, and it still be fully in tune. I practice every day, full band practices too on weekends and even with super heavy style playing, my Agile Chiral 8 holds perfectly with no problem. I don't have a tremolo, it's the hardtail I guess, but I do have big bends in some leads I play and I literally just checked my tuning and it's still perfect right now 🤣 I had an evertune that was more hassle than it was worth, this thing is much easier and holds better
I think CZcams is eating my comments again, dunno why, but maybe third time's the charm lol.
Very interesting video. But left handed versions are very rare indeed. 😞
I've been seeing a lot of headless guitars lately in the prog scene (go figure) so it's caught my eye. Want to buy a new guitar just because and a headless is looking more fun to me. Between a strat style and a headless. Looking to go for a SSS or SSH split headless style. I know Keisel makes , just have to save a lot!
Oh yeah. Found this whilst looking for whats so special and different about a headless. so thanks!
@Jimmy Franklin do you still have a Kiesel or did you sell them all? Saw you sold the aqua colored one on reverb or at least it was for sale for a few hours. Seems like you gear hop a lot just curious if you ended up keeping any of the Kiesels
Great video. Have you tested the Ibanez headless guitars too? Several reviewers prefer the Ibanez over the Strandberg.
Thorium lithium combo sound great I think my next kiesel is a thorium beryllium !
Portable! I've noticed that headless or mini guitars are easier to smuggle into work. Low profile. If one decided to stop at a restaurant in winter and wanted to bring their guitar inside, it's more like a backpack than a coffin.
Are we hearing orange, Blackstar of something else?
As fair as your points are, the way I see it it doesn't matter to me how the guitar looks, head or no head, as long as it sounds amazing, that's all that matters to me 😁
if you can get a strandberg right now.. which would it be?
can you share your helix presets? Thanks
I remember going for the first time at a guitar store and my first thought upon seeing an headless guitar was "is this broken?", they are sick tho
Maybe but as a player I don’t like the look it looks like a Godamn shovel. But ALL have different taste . I never tried one for this reason. But it sounds crazy good amazing playing and if you like it Awsome.❤
