1st one is too uniform in color i.e. it looks too nice to be $1800

Man if you’re gonna do a guitar sound comparison at least use the same amp settings across both guitars. Not to mention the completely different pickup position.

As the pick up sets are different, one is obviously brighter than the other. But value for money, the tokai gets it every time. And it's not a fake, it's a copy, a homage to the les Paul. A fake is trying to pass off as the real deal, lettering binding, inlays, brand name...

G&L is not pretending to be Fender, it is good in itself, so the question “where is the real one” is incorrect. G&L is super real.

I would say the gibson... but not 5000 dollars better
