Dude I am almost rep 2 with this character and I freaking love him. Despite not having a massive moves list, he has basically unlimited options for mix ups. Such a great character.

Actually, I think a guardbreak guarantees a top heavy. Aramusha is one of the strange characters that has faster top heavy

To explain the madness regarding Blade Blockade and when it's not guaranteed: it's considered a superior block and thus forces interrupting block recovery. Light attacks have shorter interrupting block recovery than heavy attacks. Assassins have some of the shortest light attack interrupting block recoveries as well. It's the same deal with Assassins being able to parry Crushing Counter, as well as Valkyrie's Shoulder Pin getting blocked.

Just want to add when you gb as aramusha you can land a top heavy
Ik it's a little too late but when you gaurd break, your heavy is guaranteed when you attack up
Welp I used a couple of your tips and I gotta say I got lucky a couple times lol.
Aramusha is a pretty good character. Only problem with him is if you're on console and the person is lagging those lights are going thru no matter what. I've been light parrying him on console otherwise but I had a kid with a red connection today whom I still smoked three times with Raider taking half my health from one light chain.

on a guardbreak you actually get a top heavy for like 25 damage, cuz the top heavy is way faster than the side heavys - try it out!

there are literally swords in the game called the edge lord blades exclusively for this guy

Seems like For Honor is making a comeback and I couldn't be happier. Player counts are rising on console and the start of season 5 should mark a new beginning for this game. Why they can't atleast deliver dedicated servers on the exact launch of season 5 is beyond me, but whatever apparently.

Can only guard break if your light has not fully come out if this makes sense...lights are my guard break killer for anybody
So after thinking about it it makes sense aramusha can't get a heavy on a gb if he did he would also get to start his light chain which is to much guaranteed damage
