- I started guitar on October 29, 2008. My uncle showed me a CZcams video of this guy by the name of "funtwo" playing a rock version of Pachelbel's Canon. My obsession with the video inspired me to pick up the guitar. I wanted to play like that!
Just for nostalgia I decided to cover this great piece again in 2020. My goal wasn't to change anything, but upload a better cover than in 2011.

At first, I was inspired by Sungha Jung's Canon Rock then I watched the original Canon Rock. But you are the one who taught how to play Canon Rock through video lesson. I used to download your videos to learn Canon Rock while at that time, I was still using acoustic guitar. It was 6-7 years ago and I was 16 at that time. I lost your videos years later then, today I found you and it brings back the memories of me learning how to play Canon Rock even though I was using an acoustic guitar. Now, I'm 23 and owned an electric guitar but I only play few parts of Canon Rock including the main solo. It has been a while and thanks to you I can play Canon Rock but not all of it. Thanks man.

This is maybe the best version of this i have heard!! Too often, people focus too little on the "Canon" part of the song, & too much on the "Rock" - this version has a good mix of both - which means a proper respect for the original piece. i am in love with this!!

this was the first song i learned after my cousin put me onto jerry c i was took me 3 months to learn and i play this almost every day since that was 13 years ago. tbh its probably the only song i ever really felt the urge inside to actually master and even now its still so much fun rock on bro and enjoy your journey!

I totally love this rendition... I tried playing it the way Jerry C and Funtwo did, but with all the sweeping technic in between, it was quite difficult..now after watch this video, I made little changes to how play it.. thanks for this beautiful piece...keep rocking..Cheers!!

Hey man, Canon rock was special for me 10 years ago, i regret i didn't buy or try to play guitar. I bought an electric guitar 4 monts ago, still everything is new for me. Of course i didn't forget this song. Im now trying to learn canon rock from your old videos. This video was so inspirational for me. 17 years ago! Where did the time go? I think the best version back then was from funtwo who did a great interpretation of the Jerry C masterpiece!

I didnt survive practicing violin after 6 years, however I always loved guitar no matter how many years I play it. :)
Yeah there's something cool about the guitar - but the violin has its place too. I use it as a programmed instrument in my projects sometimes.
