Laurent has the most diverse style of the two legendary dancers, he's far more versatile.

I do remember that. Lau grabbed his knee and Larry said he doesn't care about that he better kill it. I think Larry was just annoyed and being moody though. Lau had just changed the music on him when he was killing it. I think that was thee first time I saw Lau in that ugly yellow hat. LOL, I am buying my man a new hat for his birthday!

I love all of Lau’s styles through the years. He truly expresses what the music makes him feel rather than just what moves he feels he needs to hit to be considered “hip hop”.
Lau is a force to be reckoned with. He’s refined those upper body skills even more over this past year and once his knee is healed and he’s able to use his body the way he wants to again....there’s no stopping him and others will be playing catch up. They’ve still got a good few years of dancing left in them, that man will never stop and as long as they’re still good dancers, the dancing community will still be hiring them, signing them for their brands, wanting them for workshops. They’ll be around a long time. 😊
I don't believe this change is because of his injury, Laurent always been injured for years. He gets better, and fucks up again cause he's hard headed. Larry messed his back up once, and said hell no to pain and grew caution. Laurent,🤦🏾♀️, he's fine with breaking himself time and time again, as long as he learned something from it and dances freely. We know this, lol. Well, I hope those of you that have watched not only him but Larry grow into the artist they are today, know this. He's our wildcard, truly unscripted, not the bad way, that some paint it as because to them Larry is more of their comfort zone(Larry is amazing. We know this. His style is just easier to understand, not easier, but easy to like and understand. Yet, only he can rival Laurent. God place these two men together for a reason) Incase someone somehow get but hurt in this). The only thing anyone was sure of, was that at some point he would do one of his power moves(signatures), but as for the rest, everyone was at a loss as to what he would do. Now that he's switching up yet again, this time not digging so much into his signatures, people are truly at a loss as to what he will do. He switches between genre's of dance within seconds, there is no thought to it, from a let say b-boy flowing effortlessly into a ballerina into the next second.
People can't truly be satisfied, its either he goes into his signatures one too many(because people forgot what signatures meant) or he's changing so much, that they can't seem to keep up so they want him to change back. They aren't working so hard, to stay standstill. They are younger dancers coming up everyday, in a world of social media and what's in, they can be swapped away so quickly, not because they lack in talent, but because people;e tend to forget what real talent is. People get so caught up in Trends, they think a Trends are real dance, not realizing said dancer would be at a loss in a real battle of real dance. However, in the time of the "in" people get caught up in the millions of view and thousands of like, and they somehow "rival" real artist.
Anyway, I just thought this should be said. This was a great video by the way. Showing how he's dipping back to his technical self, but bringing on new. I notice how both Laurent and Larry have adopted into Tutting in their own way. They even manage to do that differently.

It looks like he's making his new style match what kind of song it is like for example If the music is hard He hads more gangster style into it and if the song is like soft and chill he gets dramatic with it. This style is his best style in my opinion better than him being on the floor most of his dancing That injury helped him

Lau's "new style" is a reflection of the fact he's not recovered from the knee surgery he had this year. If you look back at the workshop in New Jersey czcams.com/video/eK6DBHT_wLs/video.html and fast forward to around 2:44 Lau says he's not supposed to be dancing at all. Larry who is very protective of Lau anyway has been more so recently and it's because Lau isn't supposed to be dancing.
I dunno, but I love this new style, his musicality it's another level.
I miss some of his power moves like the splits and the death drop but I like his new style a lot. I'd rather he be able to continue dance instead of continuing the moves that exacerbated his knee/ankle injuries.
Maybe. Hopefully, Laurent makes a full recovery. Time is against him though. He's almost 30 and he's had a lot of injuries in the past that he ignored. Les Twins are getting closer to the age where society typically deems people too old for professional dancing, especially hip-hop.

What I’ve noticed is that he isn’t using his legs or movements that require using knees. Correct me if I’m wrong it’s a thoughts I’ve been having about Laurent recently. To avoid any injuries maybe ?
Gabino Miranda he still use his knees Larry always telling him get up lol but he's finding new ways to show u the beat . But I don't see him do that back bend thing anymore I think that's where the I just comes from.
I’m actually really glad that he’s not doing all those crazy moves that involve his knees anymore. If he continued doing his famous death drop and all the other moves that involved his knees, it would’ve made everything a lot worse. And that would mean he wouldn’t be able to dance which would be horrible . 😫
M Rose I’m not complaining it’s is good that Laurent isn’t being stubborn and continuing to do those moves. I bet he loves the challenge of finding news ways to dance to the songs.😊
Gabino Miranda Yes! It’s good that he’s not being as stubborn as he was before. It was worrying a lot of the fans including me. In a way, his knee injury might’ve actually helped him evolve 😅🤷♀️
M Rose I think some of the reasons he keeps on dancing so much: 1) Took a long time to build their rep & doesn't want the LT momentum to stop, wants to stay relevant, fresh in people's mind 2) Many people believe/invest in them, doesn't want to let them down 3) Doesn't want to let his bro. down, who he brought w/him on this awesome journey 4) Keeps helping support their huge Guadeloupean family, cuz they mean the world/cornerstone to them 5) Don't think he realizes fans don't just love his danceskills, but their silly personalites/sense of humor, love of family/kids (!!!), encouragement of others, style (hair!!), clothes, fashion, musicality like no other & ofourse their looks/fitness/expressions are a joy to watch 6) A little older now, doesn't want to miss any opportunities coming their way, so fast 7) We vibe off the love they have for each other, even their bro. "fights"/their closeness/bond/synchronicity is inspiring 8) They've never NOT danced/moved, thru injuries like most dancers do, but this is def. different/could be life-changing, so def. needs more rest/chill to heal the best & fastest way 9) We love their determination/hard work/discipline, that they don't smoke, drink,do drugs (w/thx to big life influence to life coach "Playmo"!!) 10) Doesn't really realize that global fans love them so much, we can wait for any good recovery, we're not going anywhere, we'll be here for them, no matter what, even if they got married (gasp, say it isn't so, lol!!), but seriously, we'll still be here, however long it takes...😍😍😍

I am an artist, and find it hard sometimes to find the motivations to create, so watching your videos, and seeing your amazing vibe/aura when you dance, it inspires me so much. You are both beautiful old souls, and you are spreading more joy than you could ever know.

It seems like he does a lot more floor work now but the moves are much smoother and softer. Very neat to see how he adapted :)

سعد العمري His right knee has been badly hurting for over 2 yrs, he finally!! had surgery on it, it is slow in healing, but when he does get better he will combine what he dances now (because of his knee) & how he used to dance , cuz he's incredible!!......😊e

I don't know if you're trolling or not but I hope you realize that they change their style almost every year. Laurent changed his style in late 2016 but we didn't see too much variation in the 2017 style. I guess with the injury it gave him an excuse to change it once again.
