Guy Ritchie, writer/director of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, delivers another awe-inspiring directorial masterpiece, SNATCH - an edgy and hilarious film about a diamond heist gone wrong, a colorful Irish gypsy-turned-prize fighter...and a very temperamental dog.In the heart of gangland, two novice unlicensed boxing promoters, Turkish (Jason Statham) and Tommy (Stephen Graham), get roped intoorganizing a rigged bare-knuckle fight with local kingpin/villain and fellow boxing promoter Brick Top (Alan Ford). But all goes wrong whenwildcard Irish gypsy boxer One Punch Mickey O'Neil (Brad Pitt) starts playing by his own rules, and the duo find themselves heading for awhole lot of trouble.Meanwhile, Franky Four Fingers (Benicio Del Toro) and his stolen 86-carat diamond have gone missing in London. Head honcho Avi(Dennis Farina) hires local legend Bullet Tooth Tony (Vinnie Jones) to find them, launching everyone into a spiral of double-crossing vendettas and events, most of them illegal.

In this scene, his facial expressions are spot on, right down to the minute details of exactly where his eyes are looking and the half-blink little eyelid movements all give us this feeling of authenticity. @nathanslay6342 I can relate to Tommy's tears.
Have you ever felt trapped in the unintended consequences of a poor choice you've made? Tommy makes a foolish decision that risks injury to George just days before he's scheduled to throw a match to Brick Top's guy, The Bomber. In the context of this scene, once George is knocked out, I think Tommy feels he's facing the inescapable reality that his honest miscalculation will lead to his death and the weight of it leaves him terrified and in tears. The question is, by whose hand will he die? The pikeys' or Brick Top's? Neither would be pleasant.
Because of one simple mistake Tommy's entered a world for which he's not fit. Yes, we know the story ultimately has a happy ending, but Tommy doesn't know that yet.

It only took me watching it three times to understand most of what they were saying.
The best part is no matter how many people I tell about the film, all but one says they could not stand it. I tell them it takes more than once to get it all in, most only put 30 minutes into the film and quite. I say their loss.
It’s a running joke, when the conversation turns to films and I lean in about this film, the naysayers start in.

I dont think Steven Graham gets the recognition he deserves as an actor. From Combo to Tommy he always show his ability to play his roles perfectly. Fair enough the show was stolen by Brad Pitt who himself is a superb and entertaining actor but its all the characters who play the lesser roles that made Snatch a classic cult movie. This scene for me is one of the most memorable moments and for a few seconds I actually felt the fear and hoplessness Tommy displayed so well with just a single tear and the look of resignation on his face. Thank god Gorgeous George woke up !
