Really?!?..... I didn't notice!!
@@user-jd6hi3to2q Yes
Really??
@@gourmetcuisine6367 yeah
Yep Neeti Mohan,Shakti Mohan,Mukti Mohan... commonly known as Mohan Sisters
Buddies, this is not a Hindi song it's a Tamil song sung by a non Tamil speaker Neeti Mohan ☺️
This is India.
@@Rajveer_Singh68 Yes. But its a Tamil song. Sang by a non Tamil speaker. As India is divided by language.
@@BS-lq8gm your mother is divided by language, not india🙄
@@Rajveer_Singh68poda punde
@@Rajveer_Singh68 so what? It's still not accurate to call it a Hindi song. And we must give credit where it's due. This song is a Tamil song. All the Indian songs shouldn't be lumped together under "Hindi" or "Bollywood"
This song is from the tamil movie Thiruda Thiruda, from 1993. The movie has 6 evergreen songs. 80s and 90s kids favourites. Those songs were ahead of their time and each of them are unique and amazing masterpieces composed by AR Rahman!
Y’all need to check out nainowale ne song by Neeti Mohan. It’s such a beautiful song. That song has such traditional vibes to it which I really love it!
OMG YES! I came here to say this too! 😂
AND, I believe Waleska had reacted to a 5-second clip of "Nainowale Ne" as part of a long-medley type video, a very long time ago, and she said something like "wow, I wanna check that out"... so yes ma'am, please do..!!! 🤩
Yesss please react to "Nainowale ne" you guys will love it...
I also recommend Ta Ta Taraka from Tarak kannada movie
I am so glad you are finally checking her out! I think she's one of the most underrated female singers in India currently. She's a AR Rahman favorite and a staple at his concerts. She does both western and Indian styles beautifully!! I'm not sure but you might have heard her song "Nainowale ne" from the movie Padmavaat. If not then please do! Other gems from her are "Nazar laaye" from "raanjhna", "sau aasman" from Baar Baar Dekho and " Meri Jaan" from "gangubai Kathiawadi". She's so versatile that so many times you don't even realise that it's Neeti's vocals because she modulates her voice according to the song so brilliantly!! If you listen to Nazar Laaye from Raanjhna, you wouldn't think the same person has sung it as this live song!
Neeti Mohan is one among Mohan sisters. Learn about Mohan sisters they are like 3 Angels Born in India. Talented 😅 I love Shakti Mohan's Dance Moves she is outstanding among them.
Her whole family built of talented individuals.
Haal-e- Dil from "Sanam Teri kaasam" sung by Neeti is actually so underrated but soo damn good.
I love this song, the new LoFi Mix is also FAB!! 🥰
Yessssss❤️❤️❤️
Neeti Mohan is awesome! She's also a great dancer (you guys reacted to her dancing just a few days ago.)
The Mohan Sisters are very famous. I am a huge fan of both Neeti Mohan and Shakti Mohan. Love Neeti's singing and Shakti's Dancing. ❤❤
Please react to1. mohe rang do lal song
2. Ang Laga de re
3. Naino wale ne
4. Bairi Piya from devdas movie
5. Morey Piya from devdas movie
6. Chaand chupa badal me from hum Dil de chuke Sanam movie
7. Ankhon ki gusthakhiya song 🙏🏽🇮🇳🙏🏽🇮🇳🙏🏽🇮🇳🙏🏽🙏🏽🇮🇳 please react to these songs 😊😊😊😊
It's Tamil and it's from 'Thiruda Thiruda', a fantastic album from 93 (so early 90s and not late!)...Neeti is not the original singer and while I really like her rendition, it's not as good as the original (according to me)...For 90s kids in India, this was more or less the first song you play to understand the ability of a music system to produce...Other songs from this album are awesome as well
But credit goes to Hindi song 🤣🤣🤣
Wale was right it's 90's movie song.. it was released in 1993. Ig correct me if I'm wrong.. its released even before i was born 😂😂
Hey kindly do a 90s special podcast of songs from movie Dil se, Taal and Veerzara.
Yes yes yes 😍👌👌👌
y u no top comment..?? Monke that's Bananas...!!! All that kumar sanu's, Alka, Kavita's magical deliciousness..!!
The original is also off the charts . Check it out if you can
The original is too good.
All the backing vocalist here are actually main singers In Tamil industry ...
You should also check out the work of AR Rahman's frequent collaborator in his live shows - Mohini Dey. She's a prodigious electric bass player who frequently plays in Coke Studio and Rahman's studio compositions and live shows. She has also collaborated with many western artists as well. She is mindblowing and the things she has achieved starting from 11 years of age!
Yeah.. they should check out “Thee thee” live by Berklee where it’s all just an all out bass and guitar solo
@@ji7cn Yes!!!
Absolutely she is a sensation..!
You must check out Monali Thakur, she is a classic combination of absolute indian classical music and western style music.
And also Shilpa Rao
The next song after this should be Adiye from A.R Rehaman which is RNB genre. It was created so ahead of its time for Indian audience. Please do see this message and check the above song. It's was Sung by none other than sid Sriram such an awesome singer
Thank you guys for checking this out! ❤️
The language is not Hindi. It is Tamil
I requested this one several time on Friday's live... But yeah it definitely deserves a video yeah...
Thank you ❤️ guys.. original singer name is anupama
😉
You should watch neeti mohan's "Meri jaan".....🙂👌🤌 from Gangubai kathiawadi
Whoever watched the Neeti's performance will never forget!
Check out the original one in tamil from movie "Thiruda Thiruda" actually all songs from that movie are epic
One of my favourite live song. I watched it hundreds of time
He is AR Rahamaan. A Brand of music
The Mohan sisters are actually really famous.....neeti mohan's younger sister Shakti is one of the most well known dancers in India....she was the winner of Dance India Dance season 2
Neeti is one of my favorite BW female playback singers. You guys should check more of her songs.
Another singer you must listen to is Aruna Sairam. Check out her song “Paiyada” on Coke Studio India. It’s heavily underrated but one of the best CS performances I’ve ever seen. You’ll definitely love it! ❤️🙏🏼
Just checked out this song. What a great piece. Mesmerizing❤
@@minupriya4501 I know right! Unfortunately some brilliant songs like that don’t have any popular visibility, and people don’t get to know about it. 😔
Finally... thank you for reacting ❤️
That's what classical singing does to u
It gives u a wide range to play with
Great to hear your deciphering Neeta’s magnificent voice control in a song that still breaks ground. If you listen to the original from a pathbreaking Tamil (which Neeti sings here in not Hindi) album, you will be shell shocked by the diversity and versatility that Rahman displays, all at a tender age of 25, composed and mixed in a small garage in his home… unbelievable quality and musicality, genre hopping seamlessly while sounding modern and Indian at the same time. It’s futuristic even for this day and age.
This song should be heard on headphones with closed eyes uninterrupted and internalised a few times, and as you said, you will get to be enthralled by each element. Be it the masterful driving rhythms, classical Indian string instruments (sitar) used like a guitar and percussively, various Indian percussion instruments layered into the interludes, contrasting male harmonies, and her operatic yet Indian raaga -based raspy breathless singing. Song and AR compositions beyond words…
Wow I never heard that song now I'm searching for it ....wow goosebumps all over my body...
You also saw her on dance video with her sister on feature Friday series couple of days back.
You also see her in indian classical dance special.she dance with her sisters
Listen to the original singer Annupamaa. I heard Neeti Mohan when she participated in Music ka Maha Mukabala. Very good voice. She sang this song very well because she is copying the emotion already emoted by the original singer.
Neeti Mohan is a fantastic singer. She reminds me so much of Sunidhi Chauhan. Neeti Mohan mixes both Western and Indian singing styles and does it effortlessly. She can also sing Indian Classical songs very beautifully. You should definitely check out her songs like Fitoor, Nainowale Ne, Ishqwala Love, Jiya Re and many more. She's an outstanding live performer too as you can see in this video. One can't differentiate her voice in live and in recordings
Now you must watch her "Jiya re-Jiya re" With AR Rehman..!!!
That's has soooo much energy of Neeti Mohan
Thanks guys for covering this masterpiece.
This song is from 1995. A. R. Rahman back then revolutionized Indian film music with his unique blend of Western fusion. People had not heard anything like this.
Neeti Mohan is not even the original singer. It was Anupama. You should check that out. Will blow your mind.
The breathiness etc that she adds is perfect for each word she says. You should check the lyrics out if you happen to find translations and then compare to her performance.
All Mohan sisters are very talented & gorgeous, and Neeti Mohan is the eldest and the one in their family who got famous first followed by Shakti & Mukti and Neeti is now a very successful singer in India ❤️👑
you are right...she was singing in western style..although it was Tamil language..
this song is more than 25 years old . composition was way ahead of that time.
Both remember few days back u did Indian classical dance video, there u saw kathak performance by three sisters, one of them was Neeti Mohan
This is One of my most fav tamil songs ever
React to yeh aaina by shreya ghoshal ji one of the most melodious song. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is Tamil Song. You have to listen to the original sung by Anupama . It was great for that time.
I would love to see you guys in particular watch Anuja Kamat's Ted Talk, on the different languages of musical identity.
Love from Nepal ♥️♥️
Wow surprising that you ppl are to this wonderful song
It's Tamil, pure classical and not hindi which is ordinary.
Chandralekha and this whole album from Thiruda Thiruda exposed me for the first time what sound could sound like! Even though I did it understand a word of it 😀
Guy you need to check on ponni nadhi live concert in Huston by our dearest A R Rahama

React to nimbooda song from hum Dil de chuke Sanam movie 😊😊❤️❤️❤️
she is also a good dancer.
You guys should check out other songs from this album. It's called Thiruda Thiruda. Best Rahman album for me :)
Also fun fact: Amit Trivedi decided to take up music composing as his career right after listening to this album for the first time.
Pls watch the original mv "Chandralekha" from 1993 tamil movie "thiruda thiruda". Imagine the time when this song released all this sounds and instrumentation were all new to our ears. A.R Rahman the genius introduced us then to the unimaginable and still does. His compositions are timeless. Almost 30 years and we still feel the freshness in it like if you release it as a 2022 song it may still do the same wonder. Its amazing. Thank you guys for reacting 🙏🥰
The movie bombed but has one of early ARR's experiments with different sounds. The whole soundtrack is lit af 💥
there is a interview between A R Rahman and Arijit Singh. You can check it out. It is a musician's delight.
Great video, interesting you thought it was late 90s but ar had this composed in 93, which was his second movie and one of his best albums all time just in his second film. Usually people will breakout first album find it difficult to do a great 2nd one. But ar bettered it at the age of 24-25
This is a Tamil song from the movie Thiruda Thiruda. Neeti Mohan sang beautifully but You should watch the original Tamil song which is even better.
Meri zindagi hai tu bye Neeti Mohan and jubin Nautiyal mast watch
Neeti Mohan ❤️❤️
❤️
Excellent Live performance!
However check out the Original song sung by Anoopama- OST Thiruda Thiruda My ARR’s most favourite album. The Genre’s covered in the album is simply out of this universe
FINALLYYY :D :D :D
She's the singer in fitoor
You guys should check out Chennai chess Olympiad opening ceremony and closing ceremony performance. You can see the culture wise performance.
Guys This is a Tamil Song Called Chandralekha from a Tamil movie Thiruda Thiruda composed by the Legend AR Rahman
Wale is so on point about the diction clashing with the language. She's right, though the song is in Tamil and not Hindi. The pronunciation as well as the way she enunciates certain words, they come across as if the person is from a foreign land and doesn't have the diction down pat. But, it works. Plus she's not the singer of the original song obviously. This is from a movie from 1993 and it still sounds fresh, just goes to show why ARR is such a legend. He was and is decades ahead of his time.
This is from the soundtrack of a 90s Tamil movie and I believe the song was originally sung by another singer.
Yes, you are correct. Movie was Thiruda Thiruda and singer was Anupama.
Jiya re by Neeti Mohan ❤️
You guys watched her dance with her two sisters when you guys did the dance podcast.. the kathak one
Watch the movie song Chandralekha. The original movie one. Shubha's voice and Anu Agarwal's performance.
You should checkout A.R.Rahman's recent song releases from the Movie "Cobra"- entire album and "PS-1"- 2 songs are released
I was very surprised to know that Neeti was older than Sunidhi, I find a lot of their singing styles similar, it was surprising because Neeti is relatively new to the Bollywood scene while Sunidhi has been singing for almost two decades now.
this song could easily win eurovision if india were a part of it who all agree
This is a Tamil song not hindi
plz react to coke studio's "Paar Chaana De" it tells about sohni and mahiwal the most famous love couple😍
