Mission Mishoon

Wampanoag canoe makers are shaping a 36-foot tulip tree log with fire! (“Mishoon” is the Wampanoag word for boat, or canoe.) Visit the Museum's Farmstead to talk to the canoe makers, and learn about the skills and traditions of canoe making! See a 400-year-old dugout canoe in the Museum exhibits!
