    COS is also made in Portugal, for the most part, if you needed that extra bit of info for certification of the quality.

      - Respective GDP in each continent? Not remotely similar;
      - Living standards and civil liberties? Ask the bengali living here where they'd rather be and why they pick Portugal over other countries, when migrating;

    Love your videos!
    When I first saw them as one half a cool collab, I was shocked. When I was growing up, Champion was a trash label (kinda like Hyundai and Kia, both of which have successfully rehabilitated their images as well, particularly for younger buyers). I'd love to see a deeper dive on how Champion was able to reinvent themselves.

    In London Champion was cool about 5 years ago but is now mainly worn by school children (along with North Face). It went down hill when it went on a cash grab with cheaply made and cheaply sold sweatshirt splattered with oversized repeating logos cheaply printed in to cheap material. Ironic as their high quality reverse weave sweats are what made them desirable in the first place. At that stage it was promoted heavily in outlets such as JD sports which cater to what some people unkindly label 'ch_vs' but don't only often if see them wearing it so much now or anyone over the age of 16. The place I see it mainly now is on the rails of TK Maxx.

    Uniqlo quality is absolute trash now. I still have clothes I bought 10/15 such as a Uniqlo U hoodie but everything I have bought in the last couple of years has been complete trash. Badly cut jumpers that had extreme bobbling and shrinkage after washing (yes I did follow instructions!). Socks that a bought 2 years ago are already are already having to thrown away due to holes developing. Underwear so uncomfortable I had t throw it out. I use to buy a Uniqlo down jacket every couple of years - I loved them. But I noticed how the quality was falling year on year. My most recent one for instance has no storm flap backing up the front zip, but worse is a lack of inner collar which means it's often drafty around the neck area. This year's edition of their 'down jacket' is not even down - the fill is 100% synthetic. I used to also buy quite a few Oxford shirts from them too but every time I have tried them on in the last couple of years the cut has been really bad and the material really thing and cheap feeling.

    COS menswear selection has been abysmal of late and they kept repeating the same silhouette with different fabrics/colours. They do offer value for money good quality stuff like workwear suits but they're severely lacking in their casual wear. They need to start embracing the fact that times have changed with how men dress these days and it need not be just dull funereal clothes.

    Super cheap and childish looking

    For me COS has too many clothes made in China so I don’t shop there… or at least that was the case few years ago.
    Last year during my trip to Japan I bought one shirt at a very small boutique and brand called Time Is On and I am very happy with the quality… as I understood they make everything in Japan. I just spotted their boutique while walking.
    I have also bought a shirt at Takeo Kikuchi from their 40ct collection with a beautiful pattern on it and also made in Japan.
    I will check some of these 3 Japanese brands you put together and perhaps will buy something during my next visit there :)
