Numbers are great. Over 7.1k ratings in 2 weeks and sitting on 4.96? That’s huge. Don’t think that Sony was expecting this kind of attention on a 22 years old game.
I’m pretty sure that Sly 2 and Sly 3 will get the same treatment, even this year.
I'm honestly relieved it's doing as well as it is. I was a little nervous when it first came out that people were just talking and not actually going to support it, but I'm so glad they put their money where their mouth is!
Yeah I was thinking some people just wanted to try this game myself included so they just went and bought it.

This should be enough to allow Sony to bring back Sly! While I’m hoping that we bring Sly out of Egypt, Sly Cooper should continue forward with Sly 5, the TV Show, and a Reboot Game.
If they still haven’t done another Jak and Daxter they won’t do Sly Cooper unfortunately. I’ll be dead before they do another Jak and Daxter and I am only 23.

Penelope needs to be one of the main antagonists of the 5th game. Bentley and the others try to catch her to help them build a new Time Machine to find Sly. She reforms herself in the process & welcome her back into the gang.

Since Ratchet is exploring the multiverse, I'm hoping Insomniac will get the rights to make a true Jak, Ratchet & possibly even Sly in a crossover. One better than that PSmove mess.

Good to see Sony has abandoned their “we believe in console generations” attitude. Hopefully they ramp up the amount of ports/emulated games from their back catalogue. That can revitalize a lot of their older franchises.
If the PS5 was backwards compatible with physical discs from the PlayStation’s MASSIVE back catalog of PlayStation games (across all their previous consoles) I’d be inclined to buy one. Although, PSN would have to be free, DOESN’T get routinely hacked (some of the WORST data breaches have happened to Sony, and it’s a regular occurrence), and my purchases wouldn’t just magically disappear after the rights holders pull support (we’ve seen that with a bunch of movies and other stuff) for me to consider it. As it stands I have no real incentive to buy one. Most of the games I’d want to play are form the PS2/3 era, and I can just emulate those on my Steam Deck. Plus, they’re porting over a bunch of their newer games to PC, so there’s even less of an incentive to buy one.

I would love to see this series get the Resident Evil remakes treatment. Especially for the first game, but 2 and 3 also. Make it more like Sly 2 and 3 instead the kind of Crash Bandicoot game that the original was.

Sly cooper and Hi Fi Rush has to be one of the highest rated games on Playstation. Spider-Man 2 coming close.
Hopefully this will successfully indeed lead to them making more sly stuff in the future, I would like for them to make the sly show and sly 5 and 6 and sly cooper finally gets back to his friends in the 5th game, and I even wrote down how the 5th and 6th game could be played out if we get that chance of sly cooper returning

I played 1 first and it was the game that really got me into videogames and then I played 3 and finally 2 cuz it was so hard to find

It's so Sly Raccoon (The Thievius Raccoonus) finally came for PS5! Do I really need to subscribe PlayStation Plus Member to play Sly games encluding Sly 1? It's strange to thinking Sly Raccoon and me are saem aged things because Sly 1 was relased in september 23 2002 and I was borned in september 28 2002 5 days after Sly 1 what turned into 20 years old with me in 2022 when the Sly Trilogy came for PS5 and now Sly 1. Sly 2 Band of Thieves what I have as a physical edition on PS2 is turning into a freaking 20 years old game in september 2024 3 months after and I've played Sly 2 with my brothers and bigsister's child when we were young kids, now Sly 2 is turning into 20 years old game and i'm turning into 22 years old guy am I old? Those are reasons why Sly Cooper will always be near of my Heart and is my all time favourite and first video game serie. If there's coming more Sly Cooper I really hope to see back in the 10 years ago about of Sly Cooper Movie trailer Sly movie back, but woth better looking like in Sly 2 and 3 games, not that 2014 Sly movie bad looking art style and we really need Sly Cooper's return with Sly 5 pls Sony's Studios Sucker Punch or even Sanzaru Games bring Sly back!!! 😢❤
You won’t need a subscription to plus, you can buy Sly 1 for 10 bucks, for both ps5 and 4 versions which means you can get 2 platinum trophies.

Why would Sony Interactive Entertainment waste resources reviving Sly Cooper when the entire franchise took over an entire decade to sell over three million copies while the likes of God Of War Ragnarok sold over five million copies within three days after launch
Point is SIE has far more successful franchises that sell millions within days, weeks, or months from launch, makes more sense to support a guaranteed hit not a potential one
