Lately gaming world is down on a crisis.
Sony has a lot answer due to their poor communication, shady pratrices, lack of creativity and greed.
So yess while i understand business. They are terrible at executing ideas. They are for the most part responsable

Now i understand from a business perspectiv they need money to strive. But not at the cost of cossumers trust.
And something tells me whe haven't seen the last of it.

Remember, currently YT algorithm likes vertical channels, so creators who release always the same type of content.
Well, it didn't change anything to me, and this practice is very common in the industry.
It seems Sony didn't consider all the players who couldn't access PSN cuz they are focused on the richest markets.
Correction my old friend: Brazil, Colombia,Romania ,Bulgaria,Serbia, Philippines are not considered rich countries though they have PSN. It's about FREEDOM...oh sweet liberty my leg, you guys forcing to come back😂

@SD-vp5vo I like businesses that profit. Then, they are incentivized to create more. Most people like to get rewarded for doing things. Not all of us accept thanks, love, or adoration as payment from strangers.

2:23 correction. 30% is base cut. But developers with high sells on the platform can get lower cuts.
I think that Sony have currently 25% but I am not sure.
Xbox as one of biggest publishers have almost for sure 20% cut.
And in terms of PS launcher, look on Xbox, they have a Xbox PC app, they have Game pass exklusive there, they optimized it, have synch with Xbox here, a special sales especially if you have a Game pass, but still most of their PC customers are on Steam.
With PS launcher it is going to be same.

Yes ofcourse that they will want own launcher without cut just with launcher cost, but honestly, all bigger developers already tried it but in the end all ended on Steam and that is what I am talking about.
Yes, thanks to it they could get better cut for good selling games but ended on Steam even they didn't wanted to. With Sony it will same.
